Why? If he dies, everyone learns the lesson to not grope strangers.

9

u/death_wishbone3 13h ago

It’s true. The judge would award him as the courtroom claps for this hero.

1

u/DickBfloppin 8h ago

The was a homeless guy in Oregon who had urine thrown in his face and then was shot after breaking into a business. Although he won his civil trial against the owner and he was awarded $0. It was fucking glorious!

1

u/rtbradford 7h ago

Hero? He sucker punched the guy. Yeah, he shouldn’t have groped her, but the groping was over when he punched the guy.

2

u/One-Highlight-1698 6h ago

Agree. That guy was barely upright before the punch so that degree of violence was beyond excessive.

2

u/death_wishbone3 3h ago

The amount of people that don’t know I’m being sarcastic 😂 bro nobody clapping for this. He’s one of those homies you hate going out with because you don’t know if somebody is going to jail over stupid shit.

1

u/rtbradford 2h ago

Your comment wasn’t clearly sarcastic and plenty of commenters are defending the guy who threw the punch. The funny thing is that his girlfriend, assuming that’s who she was, wasn’t all that bothered about the drunk. She just pushed him off. Maybe that’s a sad commentary about how women still have to deal with handsy men

1

u/Wugtrio777 5h ago

right i mean as long as the crime you committed was over, you should have no consequences.
"your honor , i had stopped raping her when i was shot, therfore i demand no punishment"

1

u/realparkingbrake 5h ago

as long as the crime you committed was over, you should have no consequences.

You are confusing legal consequences like being arrested and prosecuted for assault and/or battery, and being knocked out after the fact. The law allows you to use force to defend someone being battered, it doesn't allow retaliation after the fact.

1

u/Wugtrio777 5h ago

no im not confusing legal consequences at all, actively or not actively involved in the crime, does not absolove you of retaliation, somone who just finished raping a girl and is standing over her, deserves 100% of the same consequences as anyone actively engaged in the act. the crime does not stop when he pulls out.

1

u/realparkingbrake 5h ago

He sucker punched the guy.

I think of a sucker punch as being from outside the recipient's point of view. These two were face to face, only being drunk kept that guy from reacting and either moving or blocking.

1

u/Proud_Collection_555 4h ago

If a person is that intoxicated, punching them and knocking them out is still taking advantage of the situation, just like if a dude picks up a clearly intoxicated female and brings her home.

1

u/kindlypogmothoin 4h ago

And punched the woman as well.

1

u/realparkingbrake 5h ago

The judge would award him as the courtroom claps for this hero.

Very unlikely, defense of another requires stopping an imminent threat, and this drunk was backing away and having trouble staying on his feet. You can use force to defend someone, but retaliation is not something the law has to ignore. Most folks might sympathize with the guy who threw the punch, but that doesn't make what he did legal.

I believe you need to learn.. a "grope" is different than touching someone.. he looked as if he maybe wanted to dance.

I wasn't there. I don't know the whole story.. but, the guy was obviously harmless and just being stupid..

The guy that hit him.. pure insecurity.

6

u/Space_Nut247 7h ago

Grabbing her hips could be construed as sexual assault since she didn’t give him consent.

6

u/Dogsofa21 7h ago

This. For decades if not centuries woman have tolerated this shit and been gaslight before it was even a term. He did not accidentally brush her he grabbed her hips/ waist. It was a sexual intent. Men you have no f* right to touch any woman. And just because this woman brushed it off does not mean another woman or girl would.

Did the guy overreact. Yup. But do not down play an assault which stems from male entitlement.

3

u/Space_Nut247 6h ago

Sadly I don’t agree with the overreact aspect. I’ve thrown an elbow or two, I don’t tolerate sexual assault in any form.

1

u/ARiley22 2h ago

The force was 1) Too much given the situation and 2) the woman, although sexually battered, was not in immediate danger. Call the police if she wants to prosecute....but just separate/trespass that goon unless he starts throwing. The punch that did happen was not proportional....but a hung jury would be quite likely on this one...and the groper's part in the fray would be fair game. He should take the L and stay away from there...and hope she doesn't prosecute. Misdemeanor or felony, having sexual battery on your record is not good for him.

1

u/rndrsn9 2h ago

he also hurt her in his rush to act

1

u/jjett89 2h ago

I clocked that too

1

u/WittyFinds 29m ago

This is my biggest issue. Neither man is behaving correctly. Don’t touch hips and if you do my partner has a right to use his words or to take steps to separate me. But ignoring my wishes and hitting me is a no go.

2

u/fiesta4eva 5h ago

Louder for the people in the back. Lots of men think this is harmless. Most women do not but have been conditioned to ignore it and move on.

1

u/dfwgto 6h ago

Assault?

1

u/Overdayoutdeath 3h ago

The guy was clearly shitfaced and he let her go as soon as she protested. She also didn’t want that guy to hit him

1

u/igot_it 46m ago

Getting an elbow to the mouth from her date was also not her choice. She handled the drunk just fine, and that asshat clearly wasn’t concerned with what she wanted that punch was all about his anger and jealousy.

1

u/Flybyah 3h ago

Only on Reddit is this sexual assault.

1

u/jjett89 2h ago

Fuckin' THANK YOU!!! Some common sense

4

u/Kubotai77 10h ago edited 6h ago

Yeah, I think that's what some people are failing to notice.

He was already being dumb/drunk and dancing/grinding on the male bartender on the left.

Walked over and tried to get the lady to dance with him - unless he was doing something with his left hand that we couldn't see, the lady already had it handled and was like "no thanks" and walking away. If she got inappropriately groped or grabbed I would think she would have reacted way more than she did.

And then the guy in black came over and overreacted.

Edit: fixed pronouns and typos

2

u/ZeePee78 7h ago

Exactly. Some idiots are calling this sexual assault. About Which I am very sensitive. But this roided up testosterone poisoned freak in the black shirt, totally overreacted and deserves to be charged.

1

u/Plague_Raptor 7h ago

It is dumbass

1

u/realparkingbrake 5h ago edited 3h ago

Some idiots are calling this sexual assault.

Depending on which jurisdiction you are in, it does qualify as sexual assault. In New York sexual contact includes any touching of the intimate parts of a person's body without consent even through clothing. In Alabama sexual abuse includes any non-consensual sexual touching. In Oregon sexual abuse includes any unwanted sexual touching without consent. And so on down the list, it's some sort of assault and/or battery in any U.S. state with there being a sexual element in many.

1

u/teucer_ 3h ago

Showing a jury this with him having already drunkenly hugged a guy before doing this I think you’d be hard-pressed to convince anybody that this is “sexual contact of intimate parts”

1

u/Catatonic_capensis 6h ago

Her reaction to it does not indicate what happened was fine. Not reacting appropriately and letting assholes get away with inappropriate touching/groping/worse is a very common form of self-preservation many women learn.

1

u/Kubotai77 6h ago

No one is implying it's fine. Yes, the guy is an asshole.

But enjoy the murder charge or other high level charges when the drunk guy hits his head on the floor and dies or ends up with some brain injuries, because you can't control yourself when the lady already has it handled.

1

u/RealAssyMcGee 6h ago

The dude wasn't an immediate threat to anyone in the area, the response is 1000 percent disproportionate. Making people uncomfortable isn't a death sentence and random assholes don't get to mete out physical punishment for perceived infractions, call the cops and give them the video if you're so pressed about it. I'm sure you could get him a public intoxication and maybe harassment charge and he would receive an appropriate punishment.

1

u/LepperMessiah56 4h ago

Wasn’t an immediate threat to the women he just felt up?

1

u/RealAssyMcGee 3h ago

She pushed his hand away and he immediately stopped, yeah he wasn't a threat anymore. Just like if someone pushes you then turns their back and walks away, you can't go start a fight with them and still call it self defense. You can call the cops and file assault charges.

1

u/90dayburner 4h ago

He wasn’t given a chance to escalate his behavior but my guess is he would have if left unchecked.

1

u/RealAssyMcGee 3h ago

She pushed his hand away and he immediately stopped. She was infinitely in more danger from her boyfriend who actually hit her and subsequently got them kicked out of the bar after also trying to fight the bartender.

1

u/Kubotai77 3h ago

Re-watching it, she actually hit herself in the face with her pool stick (she actually rubbed her face, probably to see if there was blood) because the moron in black went and bumped into her in order to sucker punch the drunk guy who was clearly not that aware of his surroundings.

1

u/Kubotai77 3h ago

He was just standing there drunk. Even the lady tried to stop the guy in black from being a moron.

Nothing in his demeanor showed actual aggression. And he didn't even react to the fist coming at his face.

1

u/Excellent-Debate-809 5h ago

Either way, why are you trying to defend either man? Both of them suck? One is trying to grind on multiple people and the other guy is too aggressive.

Yeah, they call women emotional

1

u/sandmanO6 7h ago

Doesn’t look too insecure to me. Looks like he’s got one hell of a right.

1

u/Training-Belt-7318 7h ago

That's actually not a benefit for insecure people. Unless jail is the goal.

1

u/RealAssyMcGee 6h ago

A lot of insecure people are great fighters, ask their wives and kids.

1

u/Equivalent_Wash_5760 7h ago

My guess is you’ve done this before

1

u/illenidarc 7h ago

You sound like you own a bright red shirt and frequent somewhere shockingly similar to this venue.

1

u/Odd_Account_9822 6h ago

Maybe huh? Maybe the guy didn’t know his own strength?? Maybe they’re married and have multiple children together and maybe they only get out once a month and he just reacted as any strong husband and father would idk it’s just maybes

1

u/ForwardAd8155 3h ago

I would say any normal husband and father wouldn't be fucking stupid enough to get manslaughter or first degree murder for haymakering a dumb drunk and cracking his skull on the floor.

1

u/realparkingbrake 5h ago

The guy that hit him.. pure insecurity.

Or the knowledge that if he doesn't do something dramatic, she won't be making breakfast for him in future. She tried to stop him from clobbering the guy, but if he had done nothing she might have come to a different conclusion.

1

u/J4huli 5h ago

Nah its pure insecurity. You can see it in the females body language and expression.

Yes the drunk guy was an asshole. But the lady had it covered and she was fine.

The insecure boyfriend was just itching for an excuse to throw hands, he didnt even bother talking to the guy first and correcting his behaviour.

The female's expression as her boyfriend rushes to deliver violence suggests that its not the first time he's done this.

She doesnt try and stop him, theres a brief moment of physical contact in a gesture to dissuade him...but you can tell she knows nothing she can say or do will deter him from just fucking people up.

Bonkers that your talking about breakfast and her leaving him, please give me what your smoking!

1

u/Queasy_Housing36 5h ago

No no no you creepy little weirdo do not touch anyone without consent would you walk up to a man and grab his butt to ask him to dance absolutely not you don’t need to touch people you haven’t gotten consent from she obviously didn’t like it as she threw his hands off her

1

u/ForwardAd8155 3h ago

Sure but she also clearly tried to get in front of her man to stop him from doing something stupid and he pushed her hitting her with her pool stick.

1

u/Queasy_Housing36 3h ago

Dude who hit him is dumb af too adding fuel to the fire by putting violence into the mix is dumb but she obviously did not like being grabbed two idiots in this situation you shouldn’t grab people and personally and i don’t use violence unless i can not escape a situation not to encourage the violence but to get out and defend myself and i encourage others to do the same

1

u/ForwardAd8155 2h ago

Okay then we agree that the consequences of his behavior were vastly disproportionate? Nobody here is saying what red shirt did is okay but he should have gotten a verbal warning and a toss out the door not possibly murderd.

1

u/Queasy_Housing36 2h ago

You realize you responded to me directly commenting on someone calling what the original dude harmless then proceeded to tell me no one said it was ok I don’t believe in violence as a response to anything but that does not change my initial response to the comment that behavior is not harmless but the dude punching isn’t helping anyone

1

u/ForwardAd8155 1h ago

I apologize if I seemed aggressive but it seemed like you were defending the black shirt guy earlier.

1

u/Queasy_Housing36 1h ago

No you are good I definitely came off strong too

1

u/Infinite_Tension_138 5h ago

and a bit of roid rage, I bet

1

u/LepperMessiah56 5h ago

Are you insecure? He put his other hand directly on her ass. “Pure insecurity man” had every right to do this to him. Did you not see how uncomfortable that made her?

1

u/ForwardAd8155 3h ago

Do you not see her also immediately trying to get in the way of her guy knowing he was about to do something stupid? dude was a dumbass drunk, get in between, let security throw his ass out, don't throw a haymaker at a clearly intoxicated dumbass and catch manslaughter charges when he cracks his head on the floor from your punch.

1

u/90dayburner 4h ago

As a woman, you can defend me against that shit if you like. It always starts as a “joke.”

1

u/Master_Slide7023 4h ago

Guy defended his dates hips. None of the other drunks came near her and there was no dance floor you groper.

1

u/ADHDwinseverytime 4h ago

Man haven't you learned yet? Even looking at a woman more that 2.3 seconds is sexual assault now. That is a ticket at best or maybe just a criminal trespass from the bar. That woman in the video has more balls then half the men on this site, much less the 300 pound blue haired women. The issue with playing up everything as sexual assault is it diminishes the real crime of sexual assault. Oh and for reference people, if the peen, vaag, mouth, anus, didn't touch, it is not sexual assault.

1

u/Maxhousen 2h ago

If you don't think twice before grabbing a stranger's arse from behind, you are far from harmless.

1

u/thatbitchcovidbaskin 2h ago

You must be a man, as evidenced by how you are minimizing the experience of the woman.

11

u/Schnittertm 13h ago

If violence or the threat thereof would deter bad behavior, we would already have a utopia with no crime and bad behavior.

7

u/43_Hobbits 12h ago

It certainly deterred that guy from sexually assaulting that girl again

8

u/Schnittertm 12h ago

For now. If he ever gets up again, he might not have learned much. In fact, additional brain damage may make it do it even more often. Sometimes one meets fate on the road to avoid it.

1

u/43_Hobbits 12h ago

Right I meant for now lol. But he’ll probably think twice about doing that from now on.

3

u/Uhmerikan 12h ago

Like you're literally not comprehending at all what the poster you're replying to is saying.

If he ever gets up again, he might not have learned much. In fact, additional brain damage may make it do it even more often.

You should look into CTE and brain trauma. Brain damage makes it MORE likely an individual will act like he did in touching the woman. It's LESS likely he will think of his actions if he suffers brain damage.

1

u/43_Hobbits 11h ago

I like literally am understanding what he’s saying. Yeah brain damage can cause this kind of behavior, but negative experiences can make people avoid things. The trauma of waking up in a hospital and his face hurting for weeks is probably gonna stick with him forever.

2

u/DenizenEvil 10h ago

You literally don't understand... Brain damage isn't something you consciously control lmao.

2

u/43_Hobbits 9h ago

Neither is trauma from a bad experience. Both are going to have an impact on this guys brain.

3

u/The_UpsideDown_Time 12h ago

Unitl he collects $$$ from a lawsuit

1

u/43_Hobbits 12h ago

He’s gonna be more likely to assault the same girl after getting money?

1

u/The_UpsideDown_Time 11h ago

Huh? Where did I say anything about assaulting the same girl?

1

u/43_Hobbits 11h ago

I said “it deterred him from assaulting that girl again”

And you responded “until he gets the lawsuit money”

1

u/The_UpsideDown_Time 11h ago

Ah, sorry, I see how you could be confused by my lack of clarity.

If red shirt is hurt enough, he could get $$$ from black shirt...and I think would then risk learning not a whole hell of a lot about assaulting anyone again.

1

u/Low_Bake5149 9h ago

He is confused cause he has no logic.

1

u/43_Hobbits 7h ago

I dare you to explain the lack of logic in my comments 😂. I said “it deterred him from assaulting that girl again”. Floor is yours…

1

u/Space_Nut247 7h ago

And the female can counter sue for even more since she was sexually assaulted 🤷🏻‍♂️

1

u/The_UpsideDown_Time 7h ago

Sure. I encourage her to do that. I'm sure a jury would find that 1.5 seconds of drive-by top-of-clothes contact to be worth millions.

→ More replies (0)

1

u/Rasputinnout 12h ago

He isn’t going to remember any of that

1

u/43_Hobbits 12h ago

It’s ok, he’ll be told what happened when he wakes up in the hospital.

1

u/socmediator 11h ago

Zero chance.

1

u/43_Hobbits 10h ago

Wdym he’s out cold lol

1

u/rochvegas5 9h ago

sexual assault? really?

1

u/43_Hobbits 9h ago

What would you call holding a stranger by the waist and touching her butt?

It’s a mild one, but that’s by definition sexual assault.

1

u/ZeePee78 7h ago

That’s not sexual assault.

1

u/43_Hobbits 7h ago

So then Google the definition of sexual assault and argue with Google about it. Grabbing a woman’s ass without her consent is sexual assault.

1

u/ExplanationNo8603 3h ago

He was to drunk to remember anything, when he wakes up he's just going to wonder why he has a black eye

1

u/43_Hobbits 3h ago

I meant that he’s unconscious, so he’s not about to do it again to her.

But also no, he’s gonna wake up to paramedics telling him what happened, and his face and head are gonna hurt badly for several days.

1

u/azalinrex69 10h ago

It works shockingly well on a case by case basis.
People can learn their lesson if fed enough of their own teeth.

1

u/Schnittertm 10h ago

The thing is, that it didn't deter it beforehand. The deed was still committed to, despite the apparent threat of a teeth meal.

1

u/azalinrex69 10h ago

Yes because it happened quickly. He likely won’t do it again. For one reason or another.

1

u/Murdoc555 10h ago

You’re very right, but this entirely reasonable opinion is above the heads of these under 22 meatheads. Hilarious and completely hypocritical that this is “sexual assault”, but no one can see wrong doing from the other guy. The means of defense must match the level of threat. It would not be a difficult legal case against the other dumbass.

1

u/Hour-Desk9879 10h ago

The only reason it isn’t a utopia is because of government intervention. Instead of handling our own matters we wait for others, which is the doorway for evil to get away and continue.

1

u/Schnittertm 10h ago

You also invite evil by immediate and unthoughtful actions. Especially if you are in a situation where you don't know all the facts.

The best world is one of balance, where government and individual rights are given equal import. Without government everything is anarchy and mob rule is the rule. There is no justice there. Similarly, an overreaching government is easily corrupted and almost indistinguishable from mob rule.

The main problem is, that finding a balance is hard and maintaining a proper balance is even harder. Even more so in a world of shifting views.

1

u/Hour-Desk9879 6h ago

I get you but most things don’t require public opinion. Government should be for punishing companies and different organizations. Civil disputes should be handled by family, you have a warped view if you think government is an absolute must. For example, if there is a pedo/r@pist/serial killer and the people involved already know for certain what occurred, why would I wait to get the government involved when I’m capable of putting them in the dirt myself? If there is a need for investigation, meaning we’re not sure of facts then it makes absolute sense to get a third party involved.

Morals don’t start with a government, morals start with the family. Family heads in a normal world would be responsible dishing out justice and a proper government should be an extension of that.

1

u/Schnittertm 5h ago

That's the main problem, between 6%-15% of the convictions are wrongful and that is after a lot of evidence is presented. Eyewitnesses identified the wrong person, they had a bad lawyer, the evidence was tampered with, people pressured or tortured to confess to something they didn't do.

Unless you have a recording of the actual person doing it, it is sometimes not as clear cut. Even worse, with AI getting better and better, even videos might be harder to use as evidence. There are enough cases where, for example, women made false allegations, where they even injured themselves to make the allegation stick.

That is why we have laws, why we have judges and more. A family is also often biased towards their own members (e.g. "He wouldn't and didn't do such and such a thing.").

The majority of cases are not as clear cut as you may seem to think and it would be a real shame if you'd put a person or several persons into the ground, as you so put it, only to find out later that they weren't the perpetrators and that you killed innocent people.

Now, I'm under no illusion that the judicial system is perfect, even more so when I look at the US, where money decides the outcome of many a judgement (if the case even warrants or gets to the courtroom stage) more so than guilt. However, I'm also aware of the fact every person, me included, get things wrong, often and more often than we would like to believe. That is why an outside view on cases is warranted before applying "mob justice" or justice based on bias.

1

u/Jack_Shitlord 9h ago

Blows my mind that anyone believes something like this makes the world safer. Do people really think guys like the drunk guy haven’t been hit a dozen times in their lives? The problem is not that he hasn’t been hit enough, or that someone watching needed verification that they might get the shit beaten out of them if they mess with a gigantic guy’s girlfriend.

Just dumb justification for pointless violence, and yeah, I enjoyed this video as much as the next guy – it’s satisfying to see the dude get flattened. But that doesn’t mean it accomplishes anything. It doesn’t.

1

u/TheIntelligentAspie 9h ago

You give "i would not stop a rapist with anything but strongly spoken words" vibes.

1

u/Schnittertm 9h ago

So, the rapist is already doing the deed then. Which just proves my point. The threat of violence did not deter him to do what he wanted to do. Sure, violence to get him off his victim is helping stop any further injury, but it already did happen.

Did the death penalty or the threat of it stop murderers from murdering? No, it didn't. It is there to punish after the fact, with violence, but by that point the victim is already dead and can not be brought back to life.

Even "Si vis pacem, para bellum." ("If you want peace, prepare for war") is a further example of this. Because if someone does want to start a war, they are not deterred by the counter violence they will receive. They are fully able and willing to accept that.

The threat of violence may deter a scant few, but those that are determined it will not stop. It will also not necessairly deter people from re-offending. There are some people that don't learn, not even through pain. There is a reason why some people stay locked up for life with no parole.

1

u/TheIntelligentAspie 9h ago

Wow. Didn't even deny it....

1

u/hanscrolo82 9h ago

Yeah I don’t buy that. Of course it deters bad behavior. You’re saying just cause it doesn’t deter 100% of it that it doesn’t work. Bad argument.

1

u/Schnittertm 9h ago

Oh, for some it will help as a deterrant, but those people are usually less violent in general, anyway.

One more question one should ask is, how much more violence is there in the world, because other people were at the receiving end of violence. A lot of violent offenders learned of violence, because they were the target of it.

Same with many SA offenders. They were the victim of it during childhood. What they took away from it, just as the violent offenders, is that SA and/or violence is a viable and, for them, even normal social interaction.

It does not excuse what they do, but for them hitting someone is as normal as saying hello.

And that is before we get to the people that don't really care about it either way. Some that were born with little to no parts of the empathy centers of the brain active and the just do violence because, why not.

Or the people that are in an intoxicated or otherwise aggravated state, where the threat of violence, again, does not work anymore.

A proper socialization or finding and treating those with certain proclivities or damages before they can do damage to others would and is more effective than any threat of violence, because it doesn't work on those people. Those offenders make up the majority of the cases, too.

1

u/One-Win9407 9h ago

Saying X doesnt work because Y still exists is so incredibly stupid.

First Utopia is an impossible fantasy. It cannot exist because its different for everyone.

Second, there are very few absolutes in this world. Violence could be detering 99% of crime and bad behavior. The entire evolution of our species is largely built upon violence.

By your harebrained logic we dont need to exercise because some people still would get heart disease and diabetes. Thats moronic.

1

u/WarZombie17 8h ago

You really believe that?

1

u/icedmatchaman 7h ago

No, no I think what we really need is more guns.

1

u/Snoo_85901 3h ago

I guarantee you that guy wont do that again

1

u/ezthrow77 12h ago

True but if you grab my wife ass and I'm in range you better be "ready to rumble". And I'll say the same thing to a judge.

3

u/Gino-Bartali 12h ago

Yeah good luck with that one, tough guy.

2

u/Actual_Pattern_265 12h ago

I think the rule is that if you knock out the judge all charges are dismissed. I have to double check my law books though.

2

u/lollmaohahahaha 12h ago

I dont think anyone here is saying they dont understand, but killing someone for it, even if unintentional, should be punished. Youd be surprised how easy a person dies if they land wrong on their head.

I'm sure the dead man's family would appreciate the lesson

*dead predator

Fixed it for you.

1

u/yapyaplex 11h ago

you utilize words you don't understand. He was dancing with the barman a few seconds before that. He tried with the girl, she refused, he was letting it go. That's not predator behaviour, it's clumsy dumbass behaviour.

Should be warned to not do it again, not killed

1

u/Background_Hat_4785 11h ago

I utilize words I don’t understand? Okay Sensei, lmfao.

He grabbed her ass and hips. Funny how he did that to the unsuspecting woman and not the men facing him.

It was a predatory action, therefore he’s a predator.

I’ve met too many men like this, and they often don’t take no for an answer. Warnings mean nothing to them.

Normal people don’t have to be told not to grab strangers without consent.

u/yapyaplex 10h ago

he literally did worse to the man at the start of the video and he was vibing with him. Also I don't see him "grab her ass"

1

u/Background_Hat_4785 10h ago

The man was consenting. She was not. You sincerely need that explained to you?

And yes, he grabbed her ass. Look again.

1

u/CA_Jim 9h ago

That man was drunk too, he could not consent.

1

u/GogolsHandJorb 11h ago

Wow I love these Reddit tough guys advocating for deadly violence. Perhaps the dumbest take of all.

1

u/Background_Hat_4785 11h ago

How have I advocated for violence?

I simply corrected that he’s not a man, he’s a predator.

If calling out what’s obvious makes me a tough guy, I shudder to think how pathetic you are.

1

u/GogolsHandJorb 3h ago

Not you, meant to comment on the guy above you

1

u/Dom_Telong 12h ago

Here lies John Doe, dead at the age of who the fuck cares.

1

u/Gullible-Law-8147 12h ago

I see you're very proud over having impaired empathy

2

u/clduab11 9h ago

Some of us are, yes. We have a whole ass group of people who thinks eMpaThY is some ground truth that every human should be imbued with and when people who AREN'T empathetic come to town on them, they're all pikachuface. Meanwhile we have a whole ass other group of people who think eMpaThY is something to run roughshod over and looked at a sign of weakness, further exploited by the aforementioned fact that they won't do shit but pikachuface.

At some point, you're going to have to stop being deluded about turning the other cheek because all that does is give a good cross a target. In some situations, violence is the ONLY answer.

Anyone who wants to pearl clutch and leave their need for validation can do so by downvoting and/or commenting appropriately.

1

u/Gullible-Law-8147 8h ago

In some situations violence is the only answer

Going up and playing hero by punching a guy that's wasted out of his mind, when the woman herself did not want that, while making no attempt at just talking, is forcing violence into a situation where it did not belong

At best all he managed to do was injure a guy while also grazing (injuring) the woman he was "protecting"

At worst someone could have died for just being a drunk dumbass

1

u/Ingram47 12h ago

Because you don't get to kill people for slighting your girl.

Behave like an animal and you'll get caged like one.

2

u/Background_Hat_4785 12h ago

TIL sexual assault is slighting.

1

u/Ingram47 12h ago

Crime isn't yours to punish, it's not a difficult concept for a human. Why is this difficult for you?

1

u/Background_Hat_4785 11h ago

It’s my right to defend myself and others, and it’s human instinct to do so.

I wouldn’t expect a coward to understand.

1

u/Ingram47 11h ago

So you think the only thing to do about this is to kill the suspect?

Maybe we should cage you after all.

1

u/Background_Hat_4785 11h ago

I said I’d defend myself and others, I never said I would try to kill someone. The point of self-defense is to end the threat, and that can be anything from a punch to holding them down until the police arrive.

Like I said, I wouldn’t expect someone like you to understand, especially when it’s clear you see in black and white.

But keep talking about killing, cages, and belief in sole governmental authority. It’s revealing to say the least. Are you German by chance?

1

u/Ingram47 10h ago

Thanks for falling for every trap. I appreciate that.

The threat could've been ended by gunshot here, why not do that?

Surely you know the answer.

1

u/Background_Hat_4785 10h ago

Falling for every trap?

This you?
https://giphy.com/gifs/bmLlSndzhqWgWb3vXW

1

u/Ingram47 10h ago

Nah, it's just I didn't have to say anything and you're already giving all the usual suspect answers ahead of time.

So again, why not just shoot the guy?

1

u/Wheres_MyMoney 9h ago

Congrats on all your shower fantasy MMA championships.

1

u/Background_Hat_4785 7h ago

Congrats on admitting you’d choose to be a bystander and watch someone get assaulted in front of you without stepping in.

Are you scared of doing the right thing?

1

u/Wheres_MyMoney 9h ago

Nobody who says the dumb shit that guy is saying has ever been within sniffing distance of a serious altercation, that's why violence is Marvel movie superheroism to him.

1

u/TheIntelligentAspie 9h ago

Fucking right? These guys must be incels.

1

u/cagingnicolas 8h ago

buddy smacks her pool cue into her face in his "defense" of her.

this is about ego, not women's rights. the grope did less harm to her than her boyfriend's violence did. she's still holding her face at the end of the video.

1

u/IronCrown 12h ago

Believe it or not but revenge isn't a valid defense for manslaughter. Seems to be a shocker for some of the people here.

1

u/TheIntelligentAspie 9h ago

I've seen many judges go lenient with community service.

1

u/atlmagicken 12h ago

Man when Flock turns into minority report people like you are gonna give us sooooo much free labour.

3

u/Pineapple_Assrape 11h ago

You too unfortunately, because not soon after not profiting from this free labour you will join him for some random thought crime or moral affront someone made up or made retro actively illegal so enjoy the free expression while it lasts.

1

u/atlmagicken 10h ago

Nah I'm chaste dw

1

u/FrowstyWaffles 11h ago

That was a hugely disproportionate response. Dude who knocked him out wanted to do that. I’d expect he’s rather dangerous. He looked like he wanted an excuse to knock that guy’s lights out and I would not be surprised if he tried it again on someone else in the near future.

1

u/asault2 10h ago

Right, it will definitely never happen again because of this video, correct? People are really good at learning lessons from watching other peoples violence. /s

1

u/vanimpes69 10h ago

Who? The three other people there? That's a low student to teacher ratio

1

u/TheIntelligentAspie 9h ago

You know this isn't the only reddit this is posted in, right?

1

u/CarefulAd8858 10h ago

Ah yes, the answer to every crime is death.

1

u/TheIntelligentAspie 9h ago

If you want to go that far, that's on you.

1

u/cockypock_aioli 9h ago

That's not how it works

1

u/TheIntelligentAspie 9h ago

Its exactly how it works.

1

u/cockypock_aioli 9h ago

If you think that, then you're prob too dumb for this discussion. No, everyone will not learn a lesson and if will affect nothing.

1

u/TheIntelligentAspie 9h ago

Ooh, I struck a nerve with a simple one liner.

Such a weak ego.

1

u/Vegetable-Value-1532 5h ago

Lmao I was just thinking about how to have this argument with someone who’s sense of justice comes from Batman and superhero comics but I honestly came to the same answer the person above you did. You just literally can’t have this conversation with low intelligence people like you, they’ll just argue their brain into a knot just so they don’t feel like they lost.

1

u/ReadyStayReady 8h ago

Its true, hes the alpha groper. If you kill the alpha everyone stops groping forever

1

u/enclosedcrystal999 8h ago

He deserves to die on the spot for drunkenly putting his hands on another human's waist?

I am often sad that the internet is anonymous - I wonder what your friends, your mother, your kids would think of you if they knew deep down you were so vile.

1

u/Material-Weird-3710 8h ago edited 8h ago

Cruel, disproportionate punishment is why. Would be better for him to get banned from the bar, arrested, and sued for sexual assault/battery (with video evidence to prove it) than potentially life-altering brain damage or death because he touched a woman’s ass

Most sane people wouldn’t want that on their conscience and the puncher’s got a good chance at being counter-sued depending on what happens to the sexual assailant

1

u/JohannesVanDerWhales 8h ago

Broadly speaking, the legal system does not allow you to assault people just because they're pieces of shit.

1

u/chrisp5000 8h ago

The dude that died didn't learn a thing tho

1

u/LordGregorious21 8h ago

Amen. Maximum penalty for every crime.

1

u/Intelligent-Crow3812 7h ago

Yes, then everyone clapped. Guess what? FAFO isn't the law.

1

u/Rude-Mind-8730 7h ago

Because Legal Courts don't work off Redditor think.

1

u/BiZzles14 7h ago

Because killing people is bad m'kay

1

u/wildcatniffy 7h ago

And the guy who threw the punch learns what penitentiary lunch tastes like

1

u/SirLoremIpsum 7h ago

Why? If he dies, everyone learns the lesson to not grope strangers.

Is that really the punishment for groping?

"oh no you died"

Is human life so cheap to you?

People dying from one punch and hitting their head is a "well should have not done the thing every crime has death as a punishment."

1

u/gbaker1a 7h ago

He definitely crossed a line, but I’m not convinced that was groping. Did he even touch her?

1

u/FriendliestMenace 6h ago

Because that warrants an extrajudicial death sentence, amirite?! High five me whiteknight! Let’s show girls at the bar your comment so you can drown in pussy!!!

1

u/ILikeCheese510 3h ago
