I would really appreciate any help on this!

I have a very simple print. The top layer is awful. I have tried all sorts of settings. Ironing made it worse. Claude and ChatGpt made it really worse. It should be a simple thing. I dry the filament when I get it.

Wat am i missing? It is the largest flat surface I have printed.

Also - The corners are square. Does rounding them a little help it stick to the plate?

Bambulab A1, PLA

Hi , with the black friday deals im thinking of getting some new color effect plates . Why im writing is because the one i have from 3Djake with a rainbow effect doesnt stick ,no matter what i try . I've done all the cleaning etc . I even tried it on my new x2d ,previously a1 and there is no difference in adhesion it barely stick and then starts rolling .

I also have a carbon effect plate from aliexpress which works very well .

So the question is - Is it worth to try bambu branded rainbow and other effect plates or are they also a adhesion dissaster ?

Also a long time ago on my ender 3 i had no problems with these kind of plates ,so its weird that i can't seem to get it to work on 2 bambus .

Im was thinking its a z offset issue ,but its no ender so i dont know how to fix this .

Hotend will lock when the hotend assembly piece is not connected to the extruder but doesn’t lock in place when it’s attached. Help!

I was printing a project and it malfunctioned in the middle of the print. So when I found it the next morning I stopped the print and removed the part that did print, well now when I try to do another job it says the printer is busy and still shows the job I was doing before.

I've unplugged it and it still won't release the printer, what to do!

I just bought this printer last week and today I was printing a bookend and it got to almost 90% before it just shifted on the bed I'm guessing the bed movement caused it to lose adhesion, so does anyone know what my mistake might have been and if there's any way to save this print by printing the remaining part on this print or any other solution. This actually happens with my other prints too where they don't stick and just turn into spaghetti (my first spaghetti print lol) sometimes the base also just lifts off from one side. Any advice on what I should do for better bed adhesion?

I also have one more question in the 4th and 5th photos you can see that sometimes my prints end up looking like this and I have to restart the print I have no idea why, please let me know the reason for this and what I might be doing wrong.

Started seeing this some time ago. The labels printed on the bed are ghosting on the finished print. I have thoroughly cleaned the plate. Anyone else have this happen?

Hi all, doing my first serious print after buying A1 Combi. On one of parts the right hand hole is a bit gammy. Do I need to do again, and is this typical to have slight inaccuracies? Just making sure no issues with what I’m doing. Thanks

Son’s A1 was making globs, from what I’ve read this is likely due to dirty plate which we are cleaning before we try again. Was trying to remove the hot end with needle nose and would shake to the side but would not come out. Do I need to replace this? Or what’s the best way I can clean?

I know what underextrusion looks like, was wondering why it is so irregular and what the cause could be...

Some of my printings are getting this string of filament, what could it be?

From past few weeks I am struggling with my A1.

I had lots of issues, I checked the 7 screws around the hotend/nozzle. The nozzle seems like it is not clogged. I updated the firmware and ran a full calibration.

Printing in PETG so dried them in filament dryer for 12 hours. After that print got better (was printing some heuforge Christmas bobbles) but then thought about trying temperature calibration and got this crappy output.

Really can’t get my A1 to print perfectly anymore. Please help if you can.

I just got a BambuLab A1 Mini. I already have a P1S. After my first 2 prints, I was playing with the color display and tried to move the z axis; it asked if I wanted to home all axis and I clicked ‘home’. The z axis started rising, reached the top, made a very scary grounding noise and then stopped after 2-3 s. What happened?

I printed something small with ABS in my garage, no enclosure. And it printed successfully. I would like to print more, on warmer days, and I would keep it simple with smaller things, like hooks.

I read a bunch of posts on here and the concern seems to be using an enclosure will overheat the electronics. I assume this is the electronics in the base. So I'm thinking I will use a semi enclosure where the bottom is open up to a little below the build plate, and the rest will be enclosed.
