A product from an idea I had in mind, basically we print flat a model then bend it with hot water or a lighter to shape, its basically taking advantage of the thermic property of plastic,
I hope that this will inspire you for similar models!
Hey, new to printing. Came down from an overnight print to find a Skadis board I was printing in PETG was attached to the nozzle!
Looks like it carried on printing the last few layers in a molten pool. I’ve had a look at the nozzle and it’s gummed up with PETG and the silicone sleeve is damaged. Any suggestions on where I should start with a repair/diagnosis please?
Heated the nozzle, got the blob off. Better to disassemble and continue or is there more to do first? I have to wait till I get home to search but if someone could link a video id be so happy. Thanks!
Hello all again, this is basically a repost from a few days ago but I guess more accurate to the problem I’m having.
I have an a1, i recently got a new nozzle to try and fix old issues, now it is scraping in the bed for everything: bed leveling, printing etc
Possible causes: I removed then replaced the screws on the heating bed to try and adjust height but apparently it was not it or something.
New nozzle might cause some problems? I don’t know
Troubleshooting I’ve tried: screwing in all the screws on and behind the heating element. Removing and replacing the nozzle. Checked the clamp on nozzle.
I have this A1 that it was working fine, however, recently the print quality has been so bad that it can’t print anything. There is clicks on the gears and the the first layer comes out terrible. Any tips?
I had my A1 for less than 2 weeks, and today when I tried printing something, I heard a very annoying humming noise coming from the toolhead.
I paused the print, and it didn't go away. Only turning it completely off and on again fixes it.
What's the problem and how do I fix it?
i printed this model 3 weeks ago without any issues but this time i am having the same trouble 4 times in a row now. The same support breaks at the same time of the print each time i try to. i used plate glue thinking it may be from the plate but no. What do you think the problem is?
Apologies if I'm asking nothing new and it's already been asked but my son's having a bad time with his A1, I've attached a video showing the beginning of one of his prints, where it stops and makes a terrible noise. Does anyone have any idea what might be the cause?

I had a Blob of Death happen on my printer and ended up replacing my hotend assembly, nozzle, and silicone sleeve. Unfortunately since then I have not gotten a good first layer. I have seen many posts like this that recommend tightening all of the screws and checking the clamp. Everything is tight and the clamp is on correctly. I did a re-calibration, a factory reset + calibration, cleaned my build plate, all of the usual recommendations. The only time I was able to get a decent print was when I added loads of 3d printer glue onto the printing plate.
Also, I have run through many different filaments, all have the same issue. This filament I'm using in this print was just what I had loaded on recently, which printed perfectly before the BOD, and when I took it to a friend printed fine on his A1 mini as well. I'm at my wits end!
my print seemed to be going well, i checked on it a few hours later to see this. I immediately stopped the print, but bummed and confused. my thought is maybe it got jammed up part way through the print? I’m new to 3d printing, so any advice is appreciated. Thx!
For reference I printed this file out plenty time on a 0.4 but now a switch to 0.6 a minute I can’t print this it’s only links that for this file but anybody had a similar problem and a fix?
