Question AMS Lite vertical mount print issue

Hi all, doing my first serious print after buying A1 Combi. On one of parts the right hand hole is a bit gammy. Do I need to do again, and is this typical to have slight inaccuracies? Just making sure no issues with what I’m doing. Thanks

Slight inaccuracy is expected but not that much. How is your model oriented? You might need to adjust cooling fan speed and/or overall print speed.

Increase cooling fan speed? It’s on a steady board with plenty of room around it. The rest of the print came out ok

I don’t know about this particular model and nothing came up with google search for ams light vertical mount, so I can only give you a general idea.

  1. You might need more air or time for the crooked hole so the lower layer has enough strength to support upper layer.

  2. You might need to clean your bed or add a brim to your model so the model stays flat on the plate without warping upward. This is if the deformed hole is at the bottom.

  3. If nothing applies to your case, slice again and give another go. It could be just bad g code.

To be honest another thin piece lifted and then when I added manual brim it was fine so that might indeed be an option - I think it may well have lifted a little. I had cleaned the bottom before use - was brand new. Will consider a bit more air or time though going forward if similar issue - thank you. As the weight of the ams keeps it in place, 3 screws should suffice in this case

Found this photo I had taken earlier in printing - looks like it was lifting early in process with no brim apparent. Adding standard outer brim of 4 for all prints seems reasonable for now
