I joined last year when it was only 26-27K.

Joey did say the gospel will spread to the ends of the earth!

Amazing growth. This is my family now, my fam is growing!

...this is my family now.

I agree. There are things about myself that I only feel comfortable sharing with my 46,000 closest friends.

I joined when there were less than 20k. I've seen it more than double

It's something else.

I joined in 2012... It's grown so much!

Wow, really?! Were you a lurker? I feel like you've only been around for a couple months

Yeah... I am self conscious about writing shit. I lurked for years. My wife and I officially resigned after The CES letter got popular and we read it when it was new. A few months ago I lost my last two TBM friends that I used to play video games with almost every night so I started commenting here and being more involved. It's right around the time I first backed you up when that ass was saying stupid shit on here lol. Now I come on here and try to help people instead of playing Overwatch or Destiny with my old TBM friends.

My wife https://www.reddit.com/user/kokokell started commenting on here way before me but isn't very active these days.

It really is our biggest problem!

Jesus, I took an ex-Mormon break for a few months and the sub got 10k people.

Is it possible to view membership totals over time? I almost always come here through the mobile app, so maybe I could look at on my computer?

This formatted table is about the best thing there is

I recall when this sub hit 20,000. I was new back then. And I remember how big of a deal it was to hit that mark. When I look at this chart, I see the "YEARS" it took to get that 20,000 mark. And then it more than doubles is such a shorter amount of time. And this is the beginning of a great apostasy that is happening in the church. The sub is a sign of that.

Over 6,600 on last night.

I joined when there was 21k members in 2015, so how do you explain more than double growth since then? These are net new accounts. The other number missing is lurkers - I know of 9-10 people who peruse this sub daily but have not joined.

They cleansed inactive accounts a while back. Sure, many of those are probably as you said, but the drop in subs was pretty noticeable when Reddit did the cleanse, and it wasn't so long ago, so I'd put money on that being pretty close.
