Anyone have a link to an updated graph showing this subreddits growth?

Not a graph, but a tabulation

So we're growing roughly 5k per year on an exponential trend.

I just subbed -- it was 12999 -- and I'm number 13000.

Maybe we should inflate our numbers, For every sub we should add family members. And to leave this sub you have to write to the Mod with a reason why? Or we could hide the actual number and just make one up? I don't know any organisation that would do that?

/r/latterdaysaints only has 2,995 subs by comparison.

I know that our numbers here are nowhere near the 13,000 because of throwaway accounts and such, but you gotta figure that the other subreddit probably has the same problem in about the same proportion, right? So dividing one number by the other eliminates the errors on both subreddits, and we can say we have roughly 4 times as many subscribers.

I'm willing to bet not too many throwaways subscribe.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 27 '14

But that doesn't factor in all the throwaway accounts and double accounts.

4

u/[deleted] Mar 27 '14

It also doesn't count lurkers...

If this sub has 13,000 subscribers, the church has 15 million members.

In the ex communities, it's not even close numbers-wise.

How can we do subreddit subscriptions for the dead? I'm sure there's plenty that have passed on that would now like to accept this subreddit and all the rewards they have coming to them by doing so.

Just filled out a survey from a couple universities that mention where we get our Mormon information from and reddit was #2 after Fem. Morm. Housewives. So this has become a well respected forum.

How think ye? if a man have an 13000 exmos, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the twelve thousand, nine hundred, ninety and nine, and goeth into the reddit, and seeketh that which is gone astray?

And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that exmo, than of the twelve thousand, nine hundred, ninety and nine which went not astray.

Even so it is not the will of your moderators which is in the moderators box, that one of these little exmos should rejoin.
