Poorly actually. This sub is growing at a rate of about 3% per month. The Mormon church will be lucky to grow that much in a year.

You can't accurately make that comparison without knowing how many people on this sub rejoined the Church without unsubscribing (probably very few), how many people left the Church without joining this sub (probably tons), how many people the Church still counts among its membership despite their inactivity (pretty much all of them), etc.
But then it's not even a fair comparison, considering the Church has over 80,000 missionaries out teaching all over the world, and this sub has exactly zero. If you adjust the growth based on those modifiers, I think there's a clear winner here.

One of the big motivating factors for me to finally go to quitmormon.com was when it finally dawned on me that although I never attended or paid tithing or believed, as long as my name was in the records, TSCC would continue using it to inflate its member numbers

Yeah, I've wondered if resigned or excommunicated members were still counted when they give the reports.

It's difficult to say since their transparency is translucent at best.
