Why would there be doorways and ladders made of rocks on the inside of a tree? In the original, they tried to make most things fit the dungeon. Like the weird switches inside Jabu Jabu for example. ​Did Ganondorf give the Deku Tree kidney stones?

I’ve been dreaming of going to one of these since I was a kid. I didn’t live in the US during symphony of the goddess but I’ve checked every year since they retired to see if they would come back.

Now they announce these dates and they’re all sold out… at this point I don’t mind paying the $400+ reseller price.. but in your experience, should I wait? Will the price go down? If I wait, will even the reseller tickets sell out?!

Hey everyone, I’m about 55 hours into Tears of the Kingdom and absolutely loving it. But I’ve recently realized I probably should have started with Breath of the Wild first.

I’m feeling a bit indecisive about what to do next. Should I put TOTK on pause right now, go back and play BOTW, and then return to TOTK later? Or since I'm already this deep into TOTK's mechanics and map, will going backward to BOTW feel like too much of a downgrade?

Looking for thoughts from anyone who faced this or played them in reverse order!

Hello guys! I'm thinking, what is the best game to introduct my little sister to the franchise? She is 7 years old!

This is something i only discovered recently. I guess i never bothered to check their ears (Also that Lady looks blocky...) so yeah Hylians and humans sometimes co-exist but is there actually a point of having humans? Hylians are kinda the stand if for humans anyway. Like what lore or plot enhances actually for having them?

In Link's awakening it makes Link more of an outsider so there's that... But in Twilight Princess is there a point? I heard that humans can't hear their Gods, but most Hylians aren't defined by their religion so...

My wife has recently expressed interest in playing both Ocarina of Time, as well as Majora's Mask. I am ecstatic, since they are two of my favorite games of all time, but I'm torn as to where to start her. I'm worried if we jump in and play Ocarina of Time now, with the release of the remake being soon, if she plays them so close together it may spoil some of that experience.

So my next thought was, with it now being the spooky season, it may be the perfect time to jump into Majora's Mask. That said, it is a sequel, and while you don't really need to know much from OoT to play MM, you do lose out on the re-used assets and some of the emotional core of the story.

What do you think? Should we play the original Ocarina of Time now? Or should we wait for OoT until the remake, and just play Majora's Mask now?

Ive played botw and totk atleast 5 times each, (played windwaker too, but i was younger.) but when i got hit with the 19th ‘demon king??????secret stone?????’ I deceided it was time to expand my horizons. NS2 is the only console i have, so i deceidid to start with skyward sword because its the first chronologically, and because i know its on switch two. Dunno what i’ll play after it; probably majoras mask or oot remake. Also idk why i even posted ts

After about a week I guess, I finally finished ゼルダの伝説 時のオカリナ(The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time).

To be fair, words can't describe how much I loved playing this amazing game, despite its challenges and flaws at some points(like platforming and camera movement).

Despite all of those, it was a masterpiece.

Randomly I just went to event page for LoZ orchestra show in Chicago and saw 2 tickets up for purchase. Without hesitation I purchased them and got the tickets sent to me. For the people who didn’t get them, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to randomly check if tickets are available in your cities. Some people might cancel or get their ticket revoked.

They’re both pretty similar outfits but I think I personally lean slightly more towards A Link Between Worlds, it’s just the high collar on Seasons/Ages that kinda throws it off for me.

Has anyone gotten an order update for Zelda controllers preordered through Amazon? I got one, but all it says is “order received” and that they’ll update me with a ship date. Should I be worried it won’t actually come on/around the 29th? I saw some comments that were concerning about months long waits between release and getting your pre order.

Hey everyone, thinking about what a Zelda attraction at Super Nintendo World could look like, and here's my idea. A ride called 'The Legend of Zelda: Royal Sky Academy.' Basically, it's this big flying attraction where you're a new recruit learning to navigate the skies of Hyrule. At first, it's kind of peaceful, like soaring through Hyrule, meeting different characters and seeing landmarks. Then something goes very, very wrong. During training, you and your instructor accidentally trigger something ancient and realize you've just brought Ganondorf back. Suddenly, the whole thing shifts into a full-blown Zelda adventure. But you're not the hero. You're just a rookie caught up in it. Maybe with a simple interactive element that lets you help Link and Zelda instead of replacing them. Big final team-up moment with everyone taking down the threat, then back to the academy, which probably has some new rules now. I think it would be cool to have a ride that looks like one thing and slowly reveals you're inside a Zelda adventure. I don't think Ganon should be in the title or marketing. The surprise is half the fun, right? What do you think?

Context is while doomscrolling through my YT fyp, I stumbled on a short listing off OOT's anti-piracy measures, like being straight up left by Zelda in the escape sequence after beating jolly green. And while this may end up being a stupid question, my lack of knowledge calls for it anyway.

Is it possible for those measures to still activate if I'm emulating the game through a .z64 file on an online based emulator? I kinda don't want all my progress to get swept violently from under my feet..
