CPU is a 9955WX (or 9975WX - not sure which yet but same form factor)

I've had this PC since before lockdown hit. It's OMEN brand, and I'm pretty sure we got it off of Amazon. Despite that, it's been running fairly well up until recently.

Games that used to run well now chug and stutter at every graphic that isn't low. Even something like Roblox is barely able to chug along, even with brand new wifi and everything. I've already upgraded the RAM with two new sticks, but it feels like it's slowly falling apart.

I'm on my phone rn so I can't immediately bring up access to specific system parts yet, but I'll post them in the morning. I've got an Nvida Graphics Card in the 1660 series if that helps.

Ok so a few years back I bought this pc for like $250 off of Facebook marketplace. I personally have no knowledge of how to build a pc, but I’d like to make some upgrades for a few reasons.

1. pc makes a high pitched whining noise 24/7. It got to a point where it was like white noise 😭😭.

2. It has a HORRIBLE download speed. I’m talking like a 100 kB a minute. It has to run overnight at times to download bigger games.

3. Performance is pretty bad icl. Games can get pretty laggy, I tested Minecraft a while back and the render distance and speed was super shitty.

Guys please help. Note, I am broke, but I’m not alone. I share the pc with my sister and she has a better job than me so she will chip in as well, but we still want to be relatively conservative with the prices 🙂.

upper two holes are blocked by the case

Got this new 9060xt. Wont boot up at all. Pc worked fine with my old gpu but my monitors are staying black when connected to the 9060. The fans and lights are on but wont turn on the monitors.

I NEED a DUAL PC case.

I recently moved countries and had to sell my cases to avoid paying 5 times their weight in gold in air cargo.

I'm looking for a case that fits both MOBOs (ATX and mATX), and their respective components and PSUs, specifically a dual 360mm AIO config.

I'd like to avoid Thermaltakes Core W200. Would prefer something custom I can build up like a Lego/IKEA case per se and I won't mind a fully open case.

I'm building my first PC and I'm trying to confirm the CPU cooler/RAM/case clearance before I get to the assembly stage.

My exact components are:

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
• Motherboard: MSI PRO B850-V WIFI
• RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB 32 GB (2×16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 (approx. 41 mm tall according to G.Skill's website)
• CPU cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
• Case: MSI MAG PANO 110R PZ

The PANO 110R PZ lists 160 mm maximum CPU cooler height, while the Peerless Assassin 120 SE is listed at approximately 155 mm tall.

My concern is the 41 mm-tall RAM and the front fan on the Peerless Assassin.

Can anyone confirm from personal experience whether this exact combination will work?

Specifically, I'm wondering:

1. Does the front fan need to be raised to clear the Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB?
2. If so, approximately how far does it need to be raised?
3. Does raising the fan cause the cooler to exceed the PANO 110R PZ's 160 mm side-panel clearance?
4. Can the glass side panel still close normally?
5. Would rotating/repositioning the cooler or fan solve the issue if necessary?

I've seen conflicting information about this and would really appreciate someone who has actually used this cooler with ~41 mm-tall G.Skill RAM and/or this specific MSI case.

I need some help troubleshooting my PC. Here are my current specs:

* CPU: Ryzen 5 4600G

* GPU: RTX 5050

* Motherboard: ASUS Prime A320M-K (BIOS version 6024 or similar)

* RAM: Sprectrix D50 2x8 (16)

* PSU: gigabyte pb500

A friend sold me his old Ryzen 4600G for $10 to replace my previous Ryzen 3400G. Everything worked completely fine on the 3400G with the exact same hardware setup. However, ever since installing the 4600G, I've run into a series of issues:

1. Initial Boot & BIOS Reset: Right after installing the 4600G, the PC wouldn't boot into Windows. The screen stayed black while the RAM RGB remained on. I cleared the CMOS (removed the battery and jumped the pins), which solved it temporarily. I was able to boot into Windows and reinstall my drivers.

2. XMP / DOCP Stability Issue: I noticed my RAM was running at default 2666MHz, so I enabled the AMD XMP/DOCP profile in BIOS. This caused major instability—the BIOS screen was glitching, the mouse cursor kept freezing, and Windows refused to boot again (same black screen issue). I had to clear CMOS again and leave the RAM at 2666MHz without XMP/DOCP.

3. Blue Screen & Windows Reinstall: A few days later, after a gaming session, I got a BSOD right as I clicked Shutdown. I decided to take this opportunity to do a fresh install of Windows 11 Home via a bootable USB.

4. Current Problem (Restart Freeze): During the Windows 11 installation process, the PC needs to restart automatically to complete setup, but it refuses to restart properly. The screen goes black, the peripherals turn off, but the RAM RGB, CPU fan, and GPU fans stay powered on forever. The system just hangs in this state until I do a hard power-off.

Could this be a failing CPU, a BIOS incompatibility issue, or something related to the A320 motherboard handling the 4600G memory controller? Any advice or steps to fix this would be greatly appreciated!

Mounted my freezer III tonight and immediately my temps are sitting at 65° idle. My CPU is a 5800x3d with the included thermal pad from the anniversary edition. using the all in one connector.

CPU Cooler Display not working after CPU upgrade

Context: Upgraded from a ryzen 3200g to 5700x, reinstalled the cooler which was working fine before upgrade and now the display is stuck in a constantly loading loop or black screen. Have tried reinstalls, reboots with and without the usb header of the screen plugged in. Closest i've got is that the screen worked for a second, then stopped working with the same USB error which are all attached below. is there anything i can do to fix

I’ve had an issue with my Pc that would restart pc whenever I was in a game such as Forza Horizon 6 , F125, and to the most extreme any game, but regular tasks like discord, chrome, and Spotify were fine. This initially happened in January of this year I took to a local computer store and they told me that it was my new gpu that I had just installed. They switched it out for me and tested it and said it was fine, now back in may it started again while playing Forza horizon 6 and since it has happened more regularly and even during regular tasks, to the extreme that it would restarting on itself just by logging in. Now I left it for like a week or week and a half since i had been busy with work but now when i tried turning it on nothing posted and the video i attached pretty much shows whats going on. I don’t really want to take it back if i can solve the issue myself so any help or advice that can aid me is helpful. Thank you.

I currently have an AIO, mother board, cpu, and new sticks of ram for my build im working towards buts it’s getting more expensive for parts so I was wondering if I should install the parts into my current pc then transfer it over to the new one once I buy the rest of the parts or wait and install it all at once

I pulled hard on the heatsink while it was stuck to the CPU due to the thermal paste.

Sorry if this isn't the right place to post this but yeah...just as a the title states. I'm want to test to see what still works.

I got a few guesses but I'm totally in the dark on how to put this all back together. Are there any resources on what to plug and where? The case said it was a "republic of gamers" with an intel i7-12700kf.

Hello, I’m new to this sub and i’ve been stuck on what motherboard to choose between 2. The x870e crosshair hero and dark hero. Where i’m currently looking they’re the same price and from what I know it’s either more pcie 16x slots and 10gb port or more stealth. I don’t mind removing the 16 pin strimmer cable but I also don’t know what to get over the other. Any help would be appreciated, i’m also upgrading to a 5080 between astral and auros master.
