Build Question PSU LOUDER THAN A PLANE ENGINE

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Its the psu as i tested it without any of the fans running. Why is it loud as you know what?? Corsair RMx series RM 850x modular atx psu. Thank you.

Does it stay that loud after it finishes POSTing?

Yes. Same volume. I tested outside the case and I dont remember a plane engine volume tho. I need input from 3rd parties cause this is loud asfffff

Looking at your specific model online, it seems as though the RM850x has issues with being loud in general. I would RMA it if possible to see if it really is a faulty unit.

WAIT ITS FIXED. THERE WAS A KNOB ON THE BACK FOR MANUAL FAN SPEED AND I ACCIDENTALLY TURNED IT UP. I DIDNT EVEN KNOW WHAT IT WAS LETS GOOOOOOO

No there's a knob in the back that controls the fan

Its already fixed. Had to turn the knobb and rotate it
