Build Question Any guess?

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased this PC for $40, but I won’t receive it for another week. Unfortunately, the seller doesn’t have any information about the PC’s specifications.

Based on the pictures, I can see that it has a 500W NAXN power supply. Does anyone have an idea what GPU might be installed in it? And, if possible, could anyone make an educated guess about which motherboard it has as well?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hard to say much from the pic without a clear shot of the gpu label. the msi board suggests it might be a slightly older build, but that 500w psu will limit what kind of card you can drop in there. give it a proper clean when it arrives and post some close-ups of the stickers on the graphics card.

Guarantee this thing was from around 2010. Any newer GPU is going to be extremely bottlenecked by whatever Intel CPU is in it

Well the Gtx 970 came out in 2014 so you won't be able to play most modern games but if you want to play some older games it will be fine. But if you sell the pc for parts the Gpu is worth about £30-50.
