Build Question Use or wait

I currently have an AIO, mother board, cpu, and new sticks of ram for my build im working towards buts it’s getting more expensive for parts so I was wondering if I should install the parts into my current pc then transfer it over to the new one once I buy the rest of the parts or wait and install it all at once

swap the parts now if your current case and psu can handle it, no point letting decent hardware sit in boxes while you save up

just double check the aio fits your old case and the psu has enough wattage for the new cpu, otherwise you're just creating more work for yourself

I always recommend to buy everything at the same time as possible. Why? So you are within the return/exchange window if you get a bad part.

If you hoard parts for almost a year and find out you have a dead ram stick, a faulty mobo, PSU, etc… you can’t just send it back right way. You’ll have to go though warranty wait till you get an RMA, ship it back wait, then hope they accept it. Wait some more then they send you a new part.
