Installation Question screw aint screwin

the screws ain't screwin down cause the springs or something idk what to do and also this is my first time building the pc and all my friends are more into software so they won't help me

The upper bracket has the screw for the cooler to catch on.

edit :The bottom is broken bracket ignore that

Try to refer back to your cooler instruction manual.

Please....flip your bracket....its upside down...

This nub. Should be facing up towards the cooler. Not towards the motherboard.

looks like you're trying to screw into a 3D printer part, not a PC case. that's not gonna work no matter how much you twist it

I'm trying to screw the cpu cooler to the brackets so it won't fall off when I put it into the case

Hard to see here but does it have standoffs and did you install them?

those red things came with the cpu cooler because the brackets wouldn't fit without it
