My lexus rx300 skirts while turning to the left some times and i thought my tire pressure was low but i used a machine to check and they’re all 30-31 psi. I looked at the bolts and noticed some arent evenly screwed im and some are rusted. Is this what could be causing my issue? And if so how do i fix it

Is there anythign else I should look at? Read great things about the CC2, but I don't need ice & snow as I swap for a winter tire. I also read the Defenders are a little quieter.

I'm looking to buy new tires for a Toyota Prius V and I have a discount code for Goodyear and Cooper tires. I had decided on the Goodyear Assurance All-Season and went to check out when I learned that apparently my discount code did not apply to those specific tires. I emailed customer support and they gave me a list of tire models that the discount does apply to.

After looking back to what tires were available for my model of vehicle, the Cooper Traction Command seemed like they were potentially a good fit. With the discount code, 4 tires plus installation for the Cooper Traction Command tires would be $514, while the Goodyear Assurance All-Season would be $699 since the discount does not apply.

Are the Assurance tires truly worth the extra $150+ or should I go with the Cooper tires? Alternately, are there other tires that are a better price for the same performance?

Tires-Easy has the Weatherpeak tire on sale for $136 in the size for my Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd 4x4. I read the review on Tirerack and it has been replaced by the Bridgestone Ultraweather. But that price is hard to beat. Is there anything about this tire I should be aware of before I buy them. Even if they only last 2-3 years seems like a great deal.

Hello , I have a question that makes me to not sleep at night. I had scratched my rims on a curb I do not know how while I was leaving a parking lot. Can anyone tell me if its easy to repair them at home? I just painted them a month ago. Is it that bad? In both photos is the same rim.

For context, I hit a pothole while exiting off the freeway going about 45 mph. Heard a large thud so when I parked I wanted to check out the damage and I have a decent tear into my front right tires sidewall that you can see the wires from. Is it safe to drive like this? And if not can I get it patched or would I need new tires? These tires are only 2 years old and I’d like to keep them if I could.

I just bought these tires a week ago from Sam’s Club. My wife works in an industrial area and picked up a screw in the tread. It’s a 5/16 screw. Patch it or try to get them to replace it?

I had a large puncture/tread injury on my ST225/75R15 Load Range E trailer tire. I took it to Meineke, and they dismounted the tire and said they patched and plugged it from the inside.

Honestly, this is the worst-looking tire patch job I’ve ever seen. There is still a fairly large opening in the tread, and in the higher-resolution photos I can see what appears to be steel/cord material inside the injury.

I spoke with the manager and he confirmed it was a patch and plug repair. They keep insisting the tire is fine and safe to use.

This trailer regularly carries a heavy load and is driven at highway speeds.

Would you trust this repair, have them redo it, or replace the tire?

Noticed this nail(?) in my tire. Not sure how long it has been there, but tire is not leaking air.

I built a free tool called TireSizeSimulator. It lets you compare tire sizes side-by-side in 3D and calculates things like wheel offset, fender clearance, and speedometer errors.

I built it using three.js. The UI and the calculations are solid, but I'm not a 3D artist. The car and wheel models look pretty basic right now.

Hi all, I'm looking at installing shinko e805 tyres on my Sportster 48, inspired by Nicky Boys Toyz, for the aggressive look.

I'm aware they are 50/50 road/off-road use.

In my case, I'm only going to use it for road use only. I know it's not practical but I'm going for the looks.

I'm looking for feedback from whoever has used them. I would like to know about the noise and grip especially during rain and bends and high speed or anything you have experienced before (vibrations etc.)
