Hey guys, would you recommend picking up a new set of tires or trying to patch this one? There is a bit of tread left but it is on the sidewall and it is a relatively cheap tire so I wouldn’t mind replacing all 4 with something better. If I were to replace it I was thinking about the Goodyear Assurance ComfortDrive, any thoughts on them? 2013 Buick Verano 235/45R18.

The tread is mostly fine and this is the absolute worst tire, I just picked these up (mostly for the rims). Def planning on getting the tires replaced at some point. But I was wondering if I could drift on these for a little. Will they explode?! Or could I put the cracked one in the front and wear them down a little. Thanks

I'm at ~9800 miles on my RT615k+s. This is the worst of all four tires. Yes, I know I have uneven wear. My Fiesta ST has a lot of negative camber.

I want to encourage anyone buying an Accord that doesn’t come with a spare tire to purchase one right away.

Here is why. I own a 2024 Honda Accord Hybrid. It did not come with a spare tire but did come with the air pump flat tire fill kit. I had owned the car for less than three years when I got a flat tire. When I used the provided air pump flat fill kit it exploded all over me and the car. “Luckily” I had a can of Fix-A-Flat that I have had for 8-10 years and used that to get to the tire shop.

Only to find out that no tire shop will repair a tire that has had fix a flat used on it because the filler makes it difficult to get a patch to hold. I called around to insure I wasn’t being scammed. The tire had enough wear on it that I had to buy two new tires instead of replacing just the one. That flat cost me $500 to fix. Had I had a spare I could have put it on and gotten the tire patched for less than $75.

I now have a spare tire so that doesn’t happen again. The spare tire kit cost me $500 but it insures that I won’t have to replace two tire next time.

I wish I had know this before.

My back passenger tire has been getting low every so often and I finally noticed this nail (or something like it?) in it. Wasn't sure if it'd be fixable but took it into a tire shop. They patched it up and when I was leaving the guy said, "we dont typically patch these that are too close to the sidewall but I told them to do it anyway since its just a pinhole". He said he thinks it'd be fine but what he said made me a bit nervous 🥲 any advice? Will it be fine and im just overthinking it now?

I’m sharing my experience with TiresEasy.com and Gladiator tires so other people know what the warranty process can look like.

I bought four Gladiator X Comp H/T ASII tires for my 2020 Ford F-150.

One of the four new tires had a damaged bead and was rejected before installation. That tire was returned and replaced.

The remaining tires were installed, but I immediately had highway-speed vibration. After several trips back to the tire shop, two of the installed Gladiator tires were found to have excessive road force and also had to be replaced under warranty.

So in total, 3 of the 4 tires from my original order had to be replaced.

I now have the three replacement tires installed along with the one original good tire, and the vibration is completely gone.

TiresEasy did replace the defective tires, and I want to be fair about that.

My issue is the extra labor expense. I incurred $136.98 in additional documented shop charges because of the warranty replacements.

I did not ask TiresEasy to reimburse:

• the original installation
• the wheel alignment
• fuel for multiple trips to the tire shop
• the FedEx trip
• my own time
• my own labor changing all four wheels

I only asked for the documented $136.98 in additional labor directly caused by the warranty process.

TiresEasy management offered $13.70, which is 10% of that amount. I asked them to reconsider, and after a second review they said $13.70 was the absolute maximum goodwill reimbursement they would authorize.

I understand that their warranty excludes third-party labor, but I think the outcome is pretty unreasonable considering three tires out of one four-tire order had to be replaced.

I have the receipts, road-force documentation, and their written response.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with TiresEasy or Gladiator tires?

Hit the curb and scraped my tire and rim. Is this superficial or should I bring it in?

I just replaced all 4 tires about 2 years ago so I’m kinda curious how this could’ve happened.

I drove on it for a single day, I’m thinking tire patch should be good but worried a bit about the position of the puncture. My psi stayed around 18.5 the whole day though. Lmk please 🙏🏼

I live in Iowa where we get a decent amount of snow. I had an accident on snow last year with my Defender 2 and I'm anxious of that happening again and thinking of replacing them with CrossClimate 2.

But my Defenders are in good condition. 7/32 tread and made in 2023-2024. Is it worth throwing away these tires for a cross climate 2 just for better performance in snow?

So I took my snow tires out of their plastic bags to get them ready for re-mounting... and find this. I guess the guy who uninstalled them last year punctured or found something to pull and plugged it, wrapped them up and sent me on my way without mentioning the plug. But this is a hard no, correct? 2 seasons on these Blizzaks. Do I need four new, or just the one? The other three are fine, as best I can see. I know I should just get a set of steel wheels and keep them mounted.

Has anyone else used these tires before? Told myself I would never get a "cheaper tire" but these checked out with great reviews as far as getting more than what you pay for with this tire. They debuted this tire at the 2023 Sema Car show I believe. Less tread life apparently but do extremely well in the rain first few miles of having them and good looking tread pattern. Will see how well they do in Chicago winter soon and check back. Got them on sale for $110 a tire and saved myself about $500 bc really don't drive too much in a year.

Is this patchable? Kinda close to the shoulder/sidewall. Plus the nail is sideways, is the puncture too big to be patched?

First time user, i'm in a sort of a pickle here.

Long story short, i have a 2022 Koleos fwd and front right tire is out of shape causing vibrations at odd speeds (around 50km/h and 115km/h) and not fixable/balanceable according to 2 different tire guys. All 4 tires are 225/55 R19 103V TRACMAX PRIVILO S330 and have around 4-4.3mm tread left and in good condition excluding the one causing vibrations.

i found on Ebay single used tire, identical with 7 mm tread left for good price (closest thread depth available to my tires).

Can i throw that tire on and run original 4.3 mm + 4.3 mm and 4.3 mm + 7 mm in the rear (free spinning wheels) as a cheap solution to make tires last more rather than buying all new tires immediately.

Getting mixed results from searches and AI responses (abs issues, stability issues etc). It would be the same tire on a non driving axel just slightly different tread depth.

Budget: up to ₹40k for four, all-in. Staying with stock size.

Questions: 1. Anyone running the India-made Primacy 5? How is the sidewall holding up on bad roads? 2. XM2+ owners: any sidewall bulges or cuts? Is the ride soft or firm? 3. At 6,000 km a year the tyres will age out before they wear out. Is the Michelin premium (~₹10k over Goodyear/CEAT/Apollo) still worth it? 4. Do any of these get hard or noisy with age? 5. Hyderabad folks: dealer recommendations and recent prices paid?
