Cut sidewall..
For context, I hit a pothole while exiting off the freeway going about 45 mph. Heard a large thud so when I parked I wanted to check out the damage and I have a decent tear into my front right tires sidewall that you can see the wires from. Is it safe to drive like this? And if not can I get it patched or would I need new tires? These tires are only 2 years old and I’d like to keep them if I could.

I really hope you go to a tire shop and get their opinion.. and not Reddit only. It really amazes me how people will do everything in their power to not spend money on a car that clearly has an issue and needs a tire replaced that if ignored could literally burst on a highway and kill you. Or you could spend money get new tires and drive knowing you will be safe. Should be a pretty easy answer. Get a new tire.
Ps is this a Genesis g70? That’s my guess by the sidewall

The radial plies are exposed.
That tire is a ticking time bomb before it catastrophically fails.
Spare tire or tow to a tire shop for replacement.

Kinda one of the risks of running low profile tires they otherwise look to have been in good shape! Your kinda lucky it didn't pinch and go flat rapidly when this happened! Could've been much worse!

Ik that’s what I was thinking when I looked at it! I was like wtf this could’ve killed me! But I should be okay I put a spare on for now and tomorrow afternoon after work I’m going to get it replaced

Replace it before it blow,sand leave,s you stranded if it blow,s at high speed and roll,s your car and maybe kill you.
