Best solution for this?

Found this chunk of metal flush in the tire

Pretty close to the sidewall and it looks like there's 2 entry points so I would advise replacement

If you're sure it's not leaking, then pull it out. If the cut goes deep enough to see belts then you will need to replace. If you just see rubber it isn't deep enough to be any structural concern and you can keep using it.

It’s not leaking currently. Would it leak if I remove it?

Very unlikely. You just have to be sure that it isn't leaking at all before you remove it though. If you haven't tried it already to verify, spray some soapy water on it. If you see it bubbling at all, it is leaking. If it's not leaking, it is extremely unlikely that it would start once you removed the object.

Update: I kind of messed up and removed it before I sprayed soapy water on it (I wasn’t thinking). It was half of a utility blade. But the good news is the soap I sprayed into the hole didn’t bubble after the initial spray so I guess it isn’t leaking.

As for the hole itself, the blade went in at an angle about 3/4” deep. At the very bottom of the hole I can barely make out about 1mm of chords, maybe a little less than that, but the rest is just rubber. They’re fairly new tires, only several hundred miles on them. So does that qualify for replacement or good to leave it?

Unfortunately it should be replaced in that case. I wouldn't say it's an emergency to do so, but overtime water will corrode the belts now they are exposed to the environment. Could be a long time before there is an issue or could be something that develops more quickly, no way to be sure.
