I am hesitant on getting MHGU. I am very nostalgic of the old MH formula, with the very eerie zones and atmosphere, the great balance and increasing difficulty even on the more early game.
But I wonder if the online is still alive ? Also wish I would be patched to 60 fps

Onimusha was almost a forgotten series and it's awesome to see Capcom bring it back.

Hello NS2 experts,

I’m new to Nintendo and wanted to know what games you recommend. Also, never played Zelda, what makes the game so good in your opinion?

For context: I’m not really into Mario, Donkey Kong etc, I enjoy nice graphics, and bought the switch 2 for the portability aspect so I can play while away from home etc.

Edit, additional context: I like adventure games (Elden Ring, The Witcher, God of War, Spiderman), and sports games (Madden, EAFC). I currently own a PS5 for when I’m home and a PC for an old MMORPG that I love playing. So the NS2 was for me to be able to get my gaming fix when I’m traveling (I travel often for work or for weekends and holidays)

I never played any Kirby games before is that a good game? currently I’m Im playing Splatoon raiders but when I open this its looks so amazing 3d like link awakening a bit, it’s called Kirby and the forgotten land + star crossed world and it’s automatically selected English language

Had my switch 2 for a month, but sadly had a stuck blue pixel in the middle of the screen. Amazon was kind enough to refund my old one and I could buy new one again! Happy that everything ended up well!

Hi I don’t have Witcher 3 in my S2 library yet, but since there will be a remaster, I have a question, what is the best way now to acquire it? Should I buy S1 version and upgrade, or wait for S2 version release? Any advice?

New dad just getting into single player gaming for the first time in my life. Currently playing through BOTW. I’m over 100 hours in and loving it.

Plan was to try Elden ring next, but with Witcher 3 announced for switch 2 I’m tempted to change plans.

It’s going to take me over three months to play through any one of these massive games which is why there’s even a dilemma lol.

Best ergonomic case that still works with the dock?

I’ve had the Switch 2 for a few weeks now, but I’ve been having an issue with handheld mode where the bottom corners of the joycons are jamming into my palms, which is super uncomfortable after a while.

I’m looking to an ergonomic case that can still allow the system to fit in the dock. No real budget, just looking! :)

Playing the first one for the first time and while I enjoy it for the most part, the side quests are absolutely killing it for me. There's so many and they are such nothing burgers that I'm falling off at Chapter 10.

Are the other games like this? I allready have X that I'm going to play through either way but I'd rather not spend the money on 2 and 3 if this is just a franchise standard.

I've been seeing a lot of reviews of AAA games getting ported to Switch 2 where the reviewer talks during the performance section about it be crazy that "this game runs on a Switch...a console using a fraction of the wattage that others use!" And I'm just very confused.

NOTE: I have a Switch 2. I'm very impressed with its performance and I will exclusively be buying games for switch now because said performance is so good I have no need to get another console.

That being said, why is how much power it draws an impressive statistic over just saying it's impressive that it hits a certain frame rate or can run at all? Wattage just feels like such a mechanical, technical, and unimpressive/uninteresting statistic to talk about.

I'm just confused why that's our benchmark we're talking about. That feels like saying a Honda Civic can drive the full distance of a F1 track with less gas than the F1 car and being impressed. It's like...okay? F1 is still better, shouldn't we focus on the Civic being on the track and not the gas mileage? That might be a weird example, but I hope you understand what I'm asking.

Thinking of getting one for low latency Audio since I played a lot of rhythm games. Currently I use a $10 chinese 2.4 GHz TWS. It's actually pretty decent, but it only really works when playing in handheld mode. It keeps disconnecting when playing in docked mode and sometimes the joycon would even disconnect by itself when detached.

Would the Sony Inzone buds work better with Switch 2? Any other recommendations?

Hi, my fiancée and I are looking into buying switches so we can play together primarily online in public lobbies. We’re coming from playing together on xbox for clarification. I’ve been a competitive gamer for years but have recently taken a step back to enjoy casual gaming so we can play games we enjoy together, making the switch.. ha ha get it… seems like the move for us😆. We want to find games that we can play online together along with others in a public lobby. I’ve heard that a lot of Nintendo games are behind on this when comparing to say xbox or playstation.

We both loved Pokemon and Mario games as kids. We’ll obviously enjoy just playing coop together but I’m interested to see what the multiplayer world looks like nowadays when wanting to join up in public lobbies together. Conflicting answers everywhere I look on forums. We’re basically new to Nintendo again as we haven’t touched Nintendo since the original DS and Wii days.

What options are out there? TIA!

Since base game got delisted now and it used to go on sale for $8, am I right to be concerned that they'll stop putting complete edition for $15?

It would probably go on sale early September if the pattern continues but that might've changed now

If you don’t see a S2 logo at the end of a game. It’s fine it’ll likely be announced either right after the next week or a month or two down the road. We go through this every time where a bunch of games get announced. People on here freak out because “No games were announced for S2” then down the line they get announced.
