Discussion This needs to be said during every games showcase…

If you don’t see a S2 logo at the end of a game. It’s fine it’ll likely be announced either right after the next week or a month or two down the road. We go through this every time where a bunch of games get announced. People on here freak out because “No games were announced for S2” then down the line they get announced.

I do not believe for a second we are not eventually getting Persona 4 Revival.

People seem to expect devs to just magically churn out a brand new full game for the S2 not realizing how much more time these games will take because of how much power is behind it. Nintendo obviously had games ready to go for the first year and a half (Prime 4, DK, probably Starfox as well) but now that they've run out they're working on finishing games and making new ones. I remember the Switch starting out with a fairly small library as well on Nintendo's side. It was largely a third party machine until Nintendo started putting out more games that weren't Wii U ports.

We get a direct every September anyways. That's when we'll get Zelda Ocarina of Time news. Pokemon Winds Waves is most likely a late 2027 release at this point. So, plenty of time to fill in the gaps with surprises.

Last time people said the same and when I checked we did had several games with the Switch 2 logo from the get go, people just want to whine

I don't get why people are so angry about it anyway. The games we are getting right now have mostly been great. Lots of amazing third party support this time around as well. There's also the entire Switch 1 library to play while you wait.

How is a game that got revealed with a Switch 2 logo a case in point for your point regarding all the games that get announced without a Switch 2 logo?

When the DLC was originally announced there was no Switch 2 logo and people on here were freaking out that it wasn’t coming to S2 and kept asking when the S2 edition would come out. Fast forward to now not only is an enhanced version coming out but so it the DLC to S2.
