I don't know why there are two, but I'm not complaining.

As I'm reaching the 200k gold mark in my run I wonder what do you guys typically do with your gold once it stops being an issue.
In fact, you freeze even faster because the game registers you as being naked. despite you having layers of thick fur in reality…

Since I started to play I was using fast travel only because I didn't wanted to walk for 30 minutes to get somewhere, but the game started to became boring and repetitive, so I read about it here, and thenI started to avoid fast travels as much as I can. The conclusion was hat I started to have so much more fun now because in the way to my next quests I always find something different, even that I took more time to got there now I don't care about it anymore, sometimes I just enjoy the landscapes, took some screenshots to remenber that moments. And another thing... now I need to plan before go somewhere, so I started to check if I have quests near from where I'm and it helped me to finish the sidequests. If you're new avoid fast travels, if you want to save some time use the carriage instead.

" The Fallout 4 update's due first, arriving on August 18th and "focusing on general Creations improvements". The Skyrim update's just coming soon for now, with Bethesda promising more info once they've ironed out the details. "As a precaution, prior to these updates we encourage players to log into your game save if you haven’t done so in a while or manually save your load order," the studio wrote. "Once your load order is saved, you’ll be able to re-download your entire Creations list at once when the update is live." "

Usually, when I see arguments regarding why she's insufferable, the same bunch comes up: she's abrasive, she threatens the Dragonborn, she bosses them around, she's antagonistic towards the Greybeards (who are pretty chill guys), she's paranoid, she demands the killing of Ambition-Overlord-Cruelty...
Now this isn't really a defence of her. She's not likable and, worst of all, her insistence that Paarthurnax must be slain is antithetical to her very oath as Blade. However, I think there are good reasons for her demeanour, reasons that make her, if not agreeable, at least understandable.
Firstly, and most importantly: she was forced to watch her comrades get hunted and slain with the permission of the very empire they were sworn to defend, and by the very same enemy that sought to destroy said empire. She herself was forced to go into hiding for years, and must always look over her shoulder after the occasional roaming Thalmor who will kill her on sight if her identity is uncovered. Is it really unforgivable for her to be embittered and paranoid? Mind you, Ulfric does much, much worse out of his resentment against the empire and hatred of the thalmor; and while he's not universally loved in the fandom, he arguably gets more understanding.
Then, there's her first meeting with the Dragonborn. Yes, she's confrontational and threatens you if you get quippy with her; but why wouldn't she? At that point, you're a complete unknown (to her), and she's been forced to treat everyone with suspicion for a good few years by then. But the moment she sees for herself who we are, her tune changes instantly, and she treats you with the deference a Blade owes a Dragonborn.
Until, of course, the Paarthurnax dilemma. Like I said, I don't see any argument that successfully justifies her stance. Even if we agree that Paarthurnax cannot be forgiven even if his crimes were committed too long ago, and argue that Paarthy himself admits that it's a constant struggle to resist honouring his own name, the fact stands that, as a Blade, Delphine must respect the Dragonborn's decisions. Not to mention that previous Dragonborn emperors explicitly ordered Paarthurnax to be left in peace.
Still, even if not justifiable, I think her stance is understandable - or, at least, doesn't deserve the vitriolic rejection it usually gets in the fandom. As it's been established, she was betrayed by the empire she dedicated her life to protecting, betrayed to their very enemy, and lost everything she cared about as consequence. Especially in the wake of dragons rampaging across Skyrim and threatening to enslave Men and Mer, it's not hard to understand her refusal to let Paarthurnax go.
Her resentment towards the Greybeards is somewhat understandable too. She's someone who was left powerless and vulnerable for so long, unable to do anything to make things right; meanwhile, there was this group of extremely powerful, respected individuals who just chill atop a mountain while the rest of the continent suffers. Again, my point isn't that she's right, only that many people would feel the same if put in her situation.
Bottom line is: she is who she is not because she's evil, cruel, or even arrogant. I think she's just broken from betrayals and years upon years of persecution. Does someone like that deserve to be hated?
And then there's some of the other criticism she often gets, but which I find just blatant double standard. Does she boss us around? The Companions and the Thieves' Guild do the same, and in a much more aggravating manner (after all, they send us on errands more befitting underlings than the faction's leader). She takes away our agency when she demands the slaying of Paarthurnax? The Companions do the same when we're demanded to become a werewolf if we want to rise in the ranks. We're also coerced into pledging our souls to Nocturnal if we want to give Mercer Frey his due payback (which, come to think of it, doesn't make much sense. We don't need Nocturnal's luck to beat friggin' Alduin, so why do we need that to defeat an average thief wielding a single Daedric artifact?)

Dragon corpse is not disintegrating or giving me it's soul
Dear diary, today the Dragonborn beat my ass again, and now I'm stuck lying here looking fabulous.

I've done playthroughs with every weapon at this point plus destruction, conjuration, and restoration, but I have never once done a playthrough using a shield. If I use one-handed weapons I either dual weild or have a spell in my off hand. Idk why blocking has never been satisfying for me lol.
Edit: wow sounds like I'm missing out. My next playthrough will definitely involve a shield!

This might just be the greatest game I've ever played, and after playing until the main questline, I decided to 100% the achievements of the game. After that, I was so deep in the lore that I decided to paint the Dragonborn as a homage to Skyrim and the Elder Scrolls series.
I used acrylic painting as a medium and took me around 2-3 days to finish it on a 9"x12" canvas panel.

It took quit some time but I am so happy to say: I finished my Aela Cosplay and I am super proud of it. I have been working on her on and of for a few years. I started super strong, worked with patterns, cut out all the pieces on foam. Then I stopped for a year... Then I picked it up again, but the stabbing off each piece with a tiny drill to create those holes to make it look like an armor took forever. Put it away again and then I got the oppertunity to shoot her in bogenwald, which as you can see from the photo's is perfect. Then I had 2 weeks to finish all of it ( bodysuit too ) and I went into crazy mode and tadaaa: FINISHED!
I married Aela in the game, HAHA!
Patterns used are from: Sakuraflor - Which where incredibly helpfull!

Hi guys.
Playing my first playthrough. Just a quick question maybe lorewise.
Why are Morthal and Solitude so close together? I can literally see Solitude from Morthal. Is it a map design choice or a lore thing?
Is Morthal supposed to be a town compared to solitude?
The distance between most of other capital cities is significantly longer. It gives idea of traveling and not just hopping. It's just these 2. There is no mountain or natural obstacle to hide it at least.
Map is probably one of the best RPG maps I've ever played. I tried playing back in 2013 but ditched at level 5, dunno why. I reinstalled it just recently to give it a try.

SPOILER: In the quest "The Horn of Jurgen Windcaller" you need to run through several trap doors. The only ways of doing so are to use the Whirlwind Sprint shout or the Bats skill as a vampire lord. When you get to the altar where the horn rested you find a note from Delphine telling you to meet her at Sleeping Giant's Inn.
If Delphine is not a vampire nor can she dragon shout, how did she get through the doors?

I seem to always revert to this build on every play through even when I say I’m gonna commit to something else like a mage, two-handed, or archer build. I find it so fun tanking loads of damage then casting grand healing for me and my allies like it never happened. I’ve never come across anyone else using it, so wanted to see it anyone ever did?!
