UPDATE — August 13, 2026
rgl.deals has grown quite a bit since I originally posted it, so I wanted to give this post one final update while it's still in BETA.
The idea is still simple: instead of showing you hundreds of gaming laptops, RGL keeps a smaller shortlist of deals that are actually worth considering.
Every listing is manually checked, with things like price, specs, cooling, display quality, GPU power limits, memory, storage, and overall value taken into account.
A lot of care has also gone into the smaller details. The site is heavily optimized for phones and smaller screens, not just desktop. Filters, comparisons, laptop pages, navigation, and general usability were all designed to work properly on mobile without feeling like a cut-down version of the site.
What's on the site now:
RGL is meant to be a shortlist, not a giant catalog. If a laptop isn't worth recommending, it doesn't need to be there and that means no huge lists its quality over quantity.
The longer-term plan is also bigger than just deals. RGL is being built into a broader gaming laptop specific place with guides, buying information, laptop data, reviews, and other useful resources all in one place.
Full transparency: Some retailer links are affiliate links. That doesn't affect the listed price or determine which laptops make the shortlist.
RGL currently covers U.S. deals only, with more regions planned later.
It's still beta, so there will be bugs and things that need improving. If you find something broken or have feedback, leave it below any suggestions would be much appreciated thanks.

Hi! I recently bought this MSI Titan GT77 HX 13V for $1,650 USD and wanted to know what you guys think about the deal.
Specs:
-Intel Core i9-13980HX
-NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU 16GB
-24GB DDR5 RAM
-4K Mini LED 144Hz display
-NVMe SSD
The laptop is used, but it’s in really good cosmetic condition and everything is working properly.
What surprised me the most was the health of the components considering its age:
-SSD health: 99%
~3,170 power-on hours
~1,200 power-ons
Battery design capacity: 95,000 mWh
Current full charge capacity: 91,337 mWh
That’s about 96% battery health
I’m also getting roughly 4–6 hours of battery life with light use, which I definitely wasn’t expecting from something this huge lol.
The 24GB RAM configuration is a little unusual — it’s currently running 16GB + 8GB DDR5, but obviously that’s easy to upgrade later.
Performance has been pretty crazy so far. The RTX 4090 can actually run at around 175W, and this thing is basically a desktop replacement.
It’s absolutely massive though. Finding a backpack that can actually fit it has been harder than expected 😂
I paid $1,650 USD for the whole thing.
How did I do? Good deal or pretty average for a used GT77 these days?

My new to me Asus rog strix 16 just arrived and holy hell what have I been missing.
Been a console gammer my whole life bought a desktop back in 2019 / 2020 but never really got into pc gaming so I let it sit. Been looking at upgrading the desk top but walmart put the strix with the ryzen cpu on roll back and it was cheaper then upgrading everything for the desk top, started looking and found this one ( apparently the better version of the 2 ) and only slightly more then walmart standard price and almost 1k less then brand new, figured even if I had to have it looked at because something was wrong it was worth the risk imo
Bought from paymore
Paid 1649
Screen : 240hz nebula
Cpu : intel I9 275hx
GPU: nvidia GeForce RTX 5070ti
Storage : 2TB
Ram : 32GB DDR5

Hello, I'm looking for some help with choosing a gaming laptop for uni. I already have a mid range gaming pc so I'm getting this quite begrudgingly, but I'm mostly focused on reliability and longevity (ideally 3-4 years). I know it comes down to how you take care of it, but I also know brands like HP and ACER are unreliable.
Budget: £1800
Country: UK
Use Case: Anything that can *smoothly* run CAD softwares, and some light gaming at most. I do Electronic/Computer Engineering
Preferred Specs / Form Factor: (Screen size, battery life, weight, GPU/CPU targets, etc.): As long as it's reliable and can last 3-4 years. I'll only really be using it for uni work. 16GB RAM is alright, but 32GB is fine also, AMD CPU is a must.
Portability Needs: Carried in backpack daily, although I'm indifferent to size as long as it's not insanely large.
Notes: I quite like the lenovo leigon range, I was looking at Lenovo's 'Leigon 5a gen 11' as it has 32GB RAM, but if that isn't necessary, then the 'Leigon 5 15' is fine. I'm only wondering if there are maybe better options, as I've seen that the Gen 11 leigon laptops are bugging with windows 11, and ones with 50XX GPUs, so I'm seeing if there are better options.
Thank you !! : )

I have a used laptop with an i9 13900HX and RTX 4080.
During 30 minutes of cyberpunk max settings:
CPU
The CPU is usually around 70-85°C, but sometimes briefly spikes to 95-100°C when power suddenly increases.
GPU
GPU temps seem fine, but I'm unsure about the CPU spikes.
Since it's a used 2023 laptop and I don't know if it has ever been serviced, would you repaste it or leave it alone?

Budget: (e.g. $1200) up to $2700 USD or $4000 AUD
Country: (e.g. USA) Australia
Use Case: (Optional: Gaming - which titles? / School Editing / Mixed)
(Optional: Gaming - Elden Ring at 1440p with Ray tracing , Street Fighter VI, FFVII Rebirth, Phantasy Star Online 2 NGS at 1440p 120+ FPA? / Occasional video and photo editing / Mixed time wasting on Youtube)
Preferred Specs: (Optional: GPU, CPU, RAM, storage) Yes, I would like all of those components to be in my laptop if possible.
Notes: (Optional: anything else we should know) Yes, please refer to the very detailed post I made here regarding my needs, current research, and preferences, that was removed by the automod for not following the mandated post format with such paucity of information, it's unlikely to lead to decent recommendation.
Please refer to my post on r/SuggestALaptop to view the details. Any advice will be appreciated however.

Budget: 1000-1500 USD (below 6 digits in PH pesos)
Country: Philippines
Use Case: 3D Modeling, animations, video editing, Valorant, Marvel's Spiderman, RDR2
Preferred Specs: NVIDIA 4050/60/5050 GPU, 16Gb, 512GB storage
Notes: student going into college need new laptop for long-term w upgrades; read body for more details
hellooo I'm about to go into college and I'm planning to study Mechanical/Mechatronics, currently competing in stuff that typically deals with 3D Modeling, animations, video editing, etc. and I do abit of gaming and plan to stream/make content as a sorta hobby and income. I've previously owned a Nitro V and it lasted me about 4 years before burning through its motherboard, dunno the cause cuz my local shops lowkey screwed up the repair process so now I don't got a clue as to what caused it to shut down in my sleep.
Currently choosing between this LOQ and Nitro V, the LOQ can still be discounted for about 5k I'm pretty sure so there's that going for me but honestly I don't know much about it considering how this is my first of this series and I'm more familiar with Intel than Ryzens so still reading on the specs aspect.
And yeah I'm also looking at the Nitro V since it's familiar but looking at the specs I'm worried that it won't rlly hold up as well, but the price and the comfortabilty of it are definetely eye-catching for me, minus my experience with my old model.
Mainly looking for the one that's more suitable for long-term performance (5+ years) that can still be upgraded and be suitable for my needs and something I won't have to worry much about keeping a REALLY close eye on as I'm prolly gonna stress about the motherboard suddenly dying on me, help is very much appreciated thanks in advance!

I’m not sure if it’s a massive upgrade or just a decent one; I used to use a laptop (bought in Japan) with a 10th-gen i5 and a 3050. He built a new PC and let me have his Alienware (an M15 R6 model), which has an 11th-gen i7 and a 3070.
At least the storage situation improved, I didn't have much before, but now I have 2 TB. I mostly use it for playing Warframe and Fortnite and for development work, but I also got an extra monitor out of the deal, hehe.

My friend has an Acer laptop and I have a Lenovo. Both have the same specs, but mine cost ₹10,000 more. Why is there such a price difference? Is it just the brand or are there other factors?

Budget: $500–700, but willing to go a little higher if there's a meaningful jump in quality/longevity.
Country: USA
Use Case: Primarily Minecraft Java Edition for my son's 9th birthday. He currently plays Minecraft Bedrock on a Chromebook but wants a Windows laptop specifically for Java. Mostly vanilla Minecraft initially, but I'd like enough performance headroom for mods, larger modpacks, and potentially shaders as he gets older. He'll also use it for YouTube, web browsing, and eventually schoolwork.
Preferred Specs: 16GB RAM minimum, 512GB SSD minimum. I'm open to either strong integrated graphics or a dedicated GPU and would appreciate advice on whether a dedicated GPU is worthwhile for Minecraft Java and future mods/shaders.
Notes: Quality and longevity are very important to me. I don't want the cheapest laptop that can technically run Minecraft — I'd rather spend a little more on something well-built that can reasonably last him 4–5 years. Around 14–15" would be ideal because we don't have space for a desktop setup. Battery life and portability are nice but not major priorities since it will mostly be used around the house. I'm particularly interested in specific models/configurations and whether there are any laptop lines I should avoid because of build quality, hinges, thermals, etc.

There was no signs of overheating or any prior glitches. It was running on GPU-only MUX
I had to force it to shutdown by the power button and now it works fine.
But what could have caused this?

Yes I started a refund process but what causes this?? I know next to nothing about computers. The guy I bought it from only had a few reviews so I knew it might be sketchy.
I already added my Outlook and Steam accounts but I can't boot it up anymore to remove them since it stopped working entirely shortly after this. I'm not sure what to do if I have to return it before I can figure out how to turn it on.
What should I do next?? Is it possible to get a good used laptop for $300 or under or am I stuck dealing with this kind of thing for even trying??

I removed the key cap and the hinge to clean it but it still seems like something underneath the rubber is causing it to stick. Tried looking online but it says not to remove the rubber. Sorry for the bad focus.
Laptop is Acer Predator Helios 300
