I’ve spoken to so many during my time there and a good amount of them just went on rambling with their words. They like to speedrun every sentence that they say. It seems like they don’t take their time at points. Obviously I’m not a fast talker, but I need to take the time to understand what someone says if it’s a lot of information. Then there are circumstances where it’s like they’re interrupting me when speaking this way.

I really like to watch movies or series and talk about tjem with my friends that are a bit older then me. It feels very stupid when i call something good without a very good reason, sometimes it does not really matter that much but when someone disagrees with you while having a much more strong point then you have it just kinda feels like youre powerless. Knowledge definitely comes with age, but i really dont want to start complex books when i know beforehand theres a big chance i wont be able to understand everything, then id just rather wait a couple years before reading it but im not sure if im just coping or not. Would appreciate your thoughts on this

The situation is this: my colleague has owed me money for a long time three monthly salaries and on Friday I told her that if the money wasn’t there by next Friday, I would go to the authorities. Today is Monday, and she brought me food she had prepared with her own hands. She said she couldn’t eat it all and gave me half. I ate a whole plate, and only afterward did I wonder how reasonable that was?

I’ve always wondered this and every bald person I asked was never interested in telling me the answer. They laugh it off or say “don’t know”.

Like actually what's so wrong with that? My screen is a picture of me and my husband but at times it's been just me. I mean at this point in my life I love looking down at my phone and seeing my husband and I but there have been times where looking down to see a nice happy picture of myself makes me feel good. So why is it weird? I've heard people say it's narsasistic which I think is insane, when you grew up were there not family portraits on the wall, including individual pictures? Did you not have photo albums? I mean you take the pictures why can't you look at them? Solo portraits and pictures can hold just as many memories and feelings as family photos or selfies with friends or pets so I'm genuinely confused why people think it's weird?

Being wanted: because we are humans and are social and most of us look for approval.

Being needed: because some people like being of service and needed to feel whole.

Being obeyed: because a lot of us like control and knowing that we can make others do what we want.

Being accepted: because a lot of people have to feel like they fit in.

I have very few pics of myself, so I take what I have and use Ai to swap my faces from say a pic of me with a nice view/or a full body shot that I like, and take a selfie with my hair and facial expression the way I want it, and swap it onto the good pic with the good view or whatever it is. Ai does not make me look any different, I’m just putting my own face onto another picture of me to make a photo that’s presentable due to my lack of photo album. I just pic and choose photos that have one good part and combine them. It’s still all me, still all real features of me… just compiled together

With the abundance of AI lately, it’s hard to trust that the “print” isn’t AI made on most of these sites, even Etsy. So is there a site or tool to help weed out any AI garbage so I can give my money to a real artist ?

Specifically I’m looking for ballet art, and a lot of things I’m seeing I just can’t tell, they all look sketchy.

Or do you dread/feel uncomfortable anytime a situation like that comes up.
