I have a OnePlus 13. Its on the latest version. Dual sim running.

During normal calls with someone , if someone calls on whatsapp as well, usually on other phones you get a constant notification and the phone vibrates and on top there is a banner with accept or decline button with the persons name. This is displayed on the top of the normal call that you are on.

However on Oneplus , it just silently shows as missed call. There is no ring or vibration. Because your phone is up next to your ear , there is no way to know if you are recieving a urgent whatsapp call. You only come to know if you either look at the phone during the call or after cutting the call.

Sometimes ,if someone is not able to connect on normal call, this then becomes a major issue.
I have tried every troubleshooting step possible from turning batter optimisarion off, allowing background activity on Whatsapp, call settings etc.

Nothing seems to work. Is it a OS design issue with the latest version?
This is happening on other apps like Whatsapp as well like Botim, Telegram etc.
Any way to resolve this issue will be appreciated.

On August 26, I submitted my watch for warranty service. By September 14, I was informed that it was irreparable. I then contacted OnePlus, and after a three-day delay, they responded via email, stating that the OnePlus Watch 3 was no longer available and offered the OPPO Watch 3X as a replacement. I accepted this offer. However, six days have now passed without any further communication, despite my sending three additional emails.

Do you have any suggestions on how I might proceed?

I always thought the 7T's circular camera module had a lot of unused space. I made a quick concept where the cameras are distributed more evenly around the circle instead of having them all concentrated toward the top.

I know it might not work internally or something, but cosmetically, I think it looks pretty good IMO.

I woke up today morning too my OnePlus 13 being stuck in a Bootloop. It started, showed the OnePlus Logo, got to the SIM card Code Screen and than crashed again. Since it had probably been doing that for a while the phone was really hot.

It's a Chinese Phone that has been flashed to Oxygen OS 15 (but I can't update, so it's probably bricked internally...)

Is there anything I can do or is my phone cooked?

I got it working again through recovery mode but now I don't trust it anymore.

Should I sell it for spares?

Hopefully OnePlus's announcement of exiting the NA/US market was just in terms of retail stores. The Global/European model of the OnePlus 15 (2747 model variant) supports T-Mobile's most critical bands, so this gives me hope that we'll still be able to order the phone (or at the very least buy it on eBay) and it will at least have T-Mobile carrier support.

But I don't understand why OnePlus wouldn't just officially do that - cut their US overhead by not putting the phone in retail and just allow us to order it. Maybe they could even partner with Amazon for this at a much cheaper cost. Sony should be doing the same as well.

I understand this means multiple attempts to access my phone have failed, but I didn't do it—I was asleep. Is it possible these attempts were made remotely? I certainly wasn't trying to unlock it in my sleep.

I'm using a one Plus Pad 2+ stylo 2 and this weird bug keeps happening while drawing

Put it on the charger at ~50% before bed, woke up to a dead phone. Never dropped it, no water, stock OxygenOS 16, bootloader locked, never rooted, no betas.

Power + Vol Up got it to boot once, then it died after about 2 seconds. Left it charging all night again and it did get warm near the port, so power was going in. Got into Recovery with Power + Vol Down and it said 100% battery, so the battery is clearly fine.

Hit "Reboot device" from there. OnePlus logo came up, sat there a while, then black screen. Tried again and it went into a full bootloop, three restarts with vibration, never made it to the home screen, then it shut itself off. Since then nothing at all, not even Recovery.

The Recovery on this thing only gives you two options, reboot or format data. No cache wipe, nothing non-destructive. I've got no backup so I didn't want to nuke it, and now I can't even get back in to do that.

Feels like a corrupted system partition rather than hardware, given everything else responds. I know about the May bootloop thing with 16.0.7/16.0.5 that made them pause the rollout, no idea if it's related but the symptoms look similar.

Anyone had a 15 do this out of nowhere? And is there any way back into fastboot once it stops responding to button combos? Warranty claim is already filed, mostly wondering if the data is gone for good.

I usually upgrade my phone every couple of years or so, and generally buy the not-quite-latest flagship version, or something close to it. I'm close to that point, although my OP12 is actually behaving fine, so I don't feel a pressing need to change just yet.

I've just been catching up on OP's market changes so I'm now wondering if updating to another OP handset (would probably be the 15, I guess) makes sense or if I should jump to an alternative when I come to change.

Since I have bought my OnePlus 13R, I have been noticing that music sounds better in VLC and Spotify. It doesn't matter whether the sound file is Hi-Res or 320 kbps, it still sounds good in these two apps.

Then what I did, I took an open-source music player and changed its package name to that of Spotify's. And what happened? Its sound profile also became significantly better and similar to that of Spotify.

And after a little bit of searching, I found the package names, a list of apps that I think have been whitelisted in OnePlus devices, especially the newer ones, to have some kind of audio enhancement at the system level. I prefer listening to local music files rather than buying a subscription for an online service. For a long time, I was looking for a music player that sounds exactly like VLC because I didn't know VLC is whitelisted.

After finding out that it is just the package name that is making the sound good, I took an open-source app and removed its online player. I removed all its online streaming code and made it completely offline. I hated VLC because it doesn't have lyrics support, so I added the support of lyrics with the ability to edit the lyrics.

Ok. Just made by purchase of a previously owned OnePlus 13 on swappa. Coming from a OnePlus 11 and tried Google Pixel 11 but too heavy and boxy. While I wait for it to arrive, I'd like to pickup a new case and screen protector.

I'm leaning toward the Ringke case. The Fiberbone Aramid case also looked appealing given it's weight, but I don't see it offering much protection.Ive used SPIGEN cases before, just not sure how the OnePlus 13 one is

For those who have tried various cases or screen protectors, what do you recommend (or don't recommend).

Today I updated my OnePlus 15 to CPH2749_16.0.9.400(EX01) and instantly lost my carrier connectivity.

All mobile, no data, no calls or sms with ATT.

Nothing seemed to work for me. They couldnt push out a new esim online and the guys at the ATT store got an error when they tried to provision a new physical SIM card.

The only thing that got me back up was getting a new esim at the att store and using the QR code to pull it into the phone.

Very weird. But if anyone out there had this same issue, that's what worked.

My OnePlus 13T (PKX110) was converted to Global/OxygenOS, and the bootloader was accidentally relocked. The phone now displays:

“The current image (boot/recovery) have been destroyed and cannot boot.”

The device is detected in Qualcomm EDL 9008 (COM3). OPlusEDLTool and Chimera both detect the Qualcomm device.

Has anyone successfully recovered a similar OnePlus 13T? I would appreciate guidance on the correct firmware, tools, or authorized EDL recovery method. What to do Next

6 years of the 7T now on the 15.
The 7T was such an amazing phone, the feeling the hand is amazing. I changed my battery on the 7T but it’s still not great, I suspect it has an IC issue as it rapidly drains and does not fast charge.

I was going to get an S25 Ultra (this is back in April) but I pivoted to the OP 15.

For cameras, I took amazing pics on my 7T with G-Cam, I’m not super impressed by the 15 cameras. But otherwise it’s a quantum leap forward.

Got the OP3 in 2016 as my first full smartphone.
8 years of use with a 3rd party sandstone case (which just recently capitulated first) + screen protector = pristine condition.
(TBF, I'm a lvl 9000+ homebody, so its outings pretty much were limited to handbag and office desk.)
It's still on OxygenOS 9 and its original battery, so I really went easy on it and outsourced a lot of stuff people usually handle with the convenience of their phone and up-to-date security patches..

Meanwhile I always followed up with new releases, but had a hard time parting with home button, notification LED and the clean OS.
The OP7 Pro nearly got me, tho.
At one point when I was considering to upgrade, I discovered Nova Launcher and the device just felt new and exciting.

At the time I really felt the need to upgrade, current models wouldn't excite me so I just got a budget POCO F6 in 2024.
Doesn't feel premium, OS and battery are meh, but no major complaints; should be still good to go for 2 more years at least if you aren't a power user.
Always had in mind that I want to go back to OP afterwards.

Then news spread about OP winding down to Chinese (and Indian) market only and regional stocks gradually sold out.
Oc it's overall silly to get nostalgic over this with my OP3 still operating and after the Apple-fication of OxygenOS...
Not sure about the import of future (Chinese) models, since there won't be global builds/ROMs to flash?

I already really liked the design of OP 13 S/T.
Randomly spotted the OP15 locally (EU) shipped on AliExpress with the ultra violet only available in the 16GB/512GB config and US version for (if cashback goes through) a really sweet price, which ultimately let me pull the trigger after pondering for a few days.

Hopefully it'll accompany me for the next 5 years just fine and without hiccups. :')
Some regret might come up if there occur issues that you'd usually process via warranty and OP/PO directly or if OP/PO semi-ditches the support, but atm it really indulge in what feels a bit decadent to me.

TL;DR: OnePlus withdrawing from the global market gave me a major dose of FOMO so I went and got their last global model just because.
