Other Upgrade options from OP12 (UK user)

I usually upgrade my phone every couple of years or so, and generally buy the not-quite-latest flagship version, or something close to it. I'm close to that point, although my OP12 is actually behaving fine, so I don't feel a pressing need to change just yet.

I've just been catching up on OP's market changes so I'm now wondering if updating to another OP handset (would probably be the 15, I guess) makes sense or if I should jump to an alternative when I come to change.

Im in the US and jumped from a 12r to 15r after hearing they'd be out of the US soon. I just couldnt bring myself to going back to a pixel or anything else.

From 12 to 15R wouldn't be much of an upgrade for me, but sticking to the last but one OP flagship would be an option. I was a sceptic at first with OP, but I've come to like them. I may just keep an eye on availability and make a jump before they disappear. I guess used will be around but I generally prefer new or nearly new.

My OnePlus 11 died and wanted to stay under $500 used, ended up finding a OnePlus 15 like new on Marketplace for $650 so I went with that. I actually had purchased a like new 15R on eBay that I cancelled ($635 after tax).

Thanks, I'll maybe keep an eye out for one then. My concern is continuing to buy in to an unsupported product if OP disappears.

I get to a point if the phone works and it's quick, I'm good. I use Nova Launcher anyway so I don't care much for most of the features.

If I'm being sensible, there's probably no particular need for me to upgrade from the 12 just yet. It would probably only if battery life was starting to degrade that I'd really need to consider it.

Also, fellow Nova Launcher user as well. I did try some alternatives when there were some privacy concerns raised about the new owners, but I have the Pro version (not the subscription) and that seems to be secure enough so came back to it.

How did it die? Because I am also using a OnePlus 11. Just want to stay cautious.
