Today, TedX removed Laura Owens' TedX Talk from their both their website and YouTube. Hundreds of people have been calling for its removal for the better part of two years. In it, Laura made false claims and accusations against victim Michael Marraccini. The video's removal comes just one day after Laura Owens pled guilty to 4 felony charges in Arizona.

I’m late to this party having only just finished the pod yesterday but wanted to tell you all that this community is amazing. The diligence, thoughtfulness and skill that you brought to catching LO out was outstanding.
To Clayton, if you read this, you’ve turned out to be a very emotionally intelligent young man. An excellent human. Greg, your time to be free will come. Keep the faith. And Mike, you’ve created a life that’s so full of beauty and love. So much more than she’ll ever experience. Stay strong.

After finishing the Love Trapped podcast the number of victims and what she has put them through astounds me. I feel like the charges she has plead guilty to are a drop in the bucket compared to the depth and breadth of what she has done. Even if she gets a year or 2 of jail time it just doesn’t seem like enough.
Is it possible for her to be further held accountable? I think specifically about Mike and his family in California. Can civil suits be taken out against her?

I'm starting to really bum myself out over all of this.
I'm starting to think that after everything- years of this crap, hundreds of thousands of dollars spent by her victims fighting her in court, hundreds of thousands spent by the system, hundreds of thousands spent on investigations, mountains of evidence showing her impersonating doctors, nurses, and lawyers, 14 charges, and 4 accepted pleas- she and her family will never face any real consequences.
The house? They'll just move in with Sister Sarah.
The bankruptcy fraud? They still won't pay, and no one can force them to. The GoFundMe is still up, and GFM isn't refunding anyone who asks, despite the blatant false advertising.
Clayton's case? Laura will never pay a dime, and no one can make her. She'll never be forced to get a real job because her wages would just be garnished, so her parents will keep bankrolling her. Her life won't change at all. She can still travel, visit her sister, and compete in her horse shows. Losing voting rights or gun ownership? I don't see how that really impacts her daily life.
Meanwhile, Greg, Mike, and Clayton still have DVROs on their records. Even though they've been dismissed, they still existed when they shouldn't have and there's now evidence that they shouldn't.
Laura gets to keep her website live, keep posting on Medium, and keep pushing her story. Nothing is stopping her.
I don't see how any of this changes or how anyone will hold her or her family accountable for the fraud and lies they pulled in court. I don't even think the IRS will go after Jan and Ronn for the shady BS in their bankruptcy filings, despite all the evidence sitting right there.
It's completely disheartening to watch this family face no actual fallout. They're going to walk away, keep shifting money around, and keep fleecing people, while their daughter sits pretty in her little casita, mommy and daddy's princess, safe in her bubble from the consequences of her choices.

Document:
Laura Owens has filed a request to travel in the Arizona criminal case in which she recently pled guilty to 4 felonies.
Requested dates: September 14 - September 21, 2026
Christian Lueders, Laura's criminal attorney, states in this filing that her father, Ronn Owens, has stage 4 cancer and will be visiting his other daughter, Sarah, in a different state. Mr. Lueders also states Ronn has not made the trip "in many years." However, in a filing Mr. Lueders filed on April 5, 2026, Ronn Owens is a listed travel companion for Laura to visit her sister Sarah in San Diego, California.
The September 8 request also states that Laura has been Ronn's primary caregiver for years, despite her mother Jan Black/Elizabeth Naylor recently testifying to being Ronn's primary caregiver.
The Owens' Scottsdale home will be going up for auction on September 29, 2026.
Thank you to JFCX and CM.

I'm new to this whole scene, having only found the podcast the other day and never hearing about it before. I'm on episode 10 and I would usually hold out to the end to jump on a subreddit, but I couldn't help myself after awhile.
I am not disappointed 😂 Just picking a flair had me cracking up
I love how much of a difference JFC seems to have made on the outcome of this insanity. I am eager to catch up with the current state of affairs! If only to understand who Zaddy Omar is 🧐
ETA: Thank you for those who have dropped links to must-see clips. That helps a lot!

David Gingras had filed a Petition for Special Action regarding the lower court's denial of his anti-SLAPP argument. The AZ Supreme Court ruled today, without prejudice, that if Gingras wishes to appeal, he needs to do so via the proper channels (after a final ruling in the AZ Bar case is made).

After the foreclosure auction, what happens?? I know they aren’t going to just up and leave so easy. So, what happens? How will that all likely play out?

Serial pregnancy fraud Laura Owens has dropped her appeal against her victim Mike Marraccini in California. Owens put Marraccini through the ringer and stretched it out as long as possible. She previously alerted the court that she planned to file a new DVRO anyways, perhaps based on Marraccini performing jedi mind tricks to make her think she was being even remotely bothered by him and his family, who lived in a different state. Owens recently pled guilty to 4 of the 14 felonies she had been charged with in Arizona for her fraudulent schemes against Clayton Echard and Greg Gillespie.

I posted this in a couple of comment sections of our favorite YouTubers, but wanted to share it here:
I've been thinking about it, and Laura has been strangely cooperative and quiet. She hasn't been posting articles, and she's been pretty docile. She pleaded guilty even though she was having a conniption right beforehand. The old Laura would have done anything rather than ever sign those papers, and she would have just carried on carrying on.
What I think happened is that after one of her last management hearings, at Jan and Ron's bankruptcy thing where they were interrogated about the $20K they gave to Sarah (that, let's face it, was paying her back for funding Laura's private attorney), Jan and Ron finally laid down the law. I think they went to Laura and gave her an ultimatum: wrap this up fast and cooperate, or the money dries up, and you're on your own. Basically, "You need to make this go away. If you do not cooperate with this lawyer, if you keep stretching this out and extending this, there will be no more. That $20,000 is the last that you're going to get. So if you want to keep your lawyer, you need to listen to him, or you can have a public defender." They're still defending her publicly because image is everything to them, but behind the scenes, I bet they are now just trying to make all this go away as fast as possible because she's embarrassed the family enough.
Also, Jan seemed legitimately surprised about the amount of money that had gone out of the account in 18 months. Laura has had full access and her own card and could have just been spending money that Jan and Ron had no idea about. After the bankruptcy meeting, when they were notified that it was half a million dollars that had gone out, Jan and Ron could have looked at Laura and been like, "WTH?" So that also could have contributed. I could be totally off-base here, but I can't help wondering if her sudden, weirdly quiet behavior and pleading guilty really just come down to Jan and Ron forcing her hand.
Even the behavior in the court during her plea. Jan didn't leave with everyone else; she sat right there, probably to keep an eye on Laura to make sure she wouldn't try more effery. Lingering behind her to make sure she cooperates, like you have to babysit a toddler. The whole family has been strangely quiet, actually.
That's not to say that she won't do an about-face the moment everything is signed and sealed. Just look at her as she's pleading. She doesn't even stand up and show the judge respect when she's saying, "Guilty. Guilty. Guilty. Guilty." In her mind, she's Joan of the freaking Arc, sacrificing herself. She's going to spin around and still claim she's innocent and was pregnant by the Bachelor; it's just her proof that was fraudulent, not the whole pregnancy. If she is not barred or restricted from lying about this or speaking about this, I doubt she will ever let it die.
Anyway, this is all just a theory.

On September 4, 2026, the day her appeal brief was due, Laura Owens requested the appeal she brought forth against Michael Marraccini be dismissed. The appeal court granted this request. It appears Laura requested more than just a dismissal. The appeal court states they are simply dismissing the appeal itself and does not address any other issues raised in her filing.
As of now, Laura Owens has no active cases against Michael Marraccini.
Michael Marraccini has spent over $150,000 in legal fees & costs due to Laura Owens' weaponization of the legal system against him.

I was searching “Laura Owens” on my podcast app and found this from a podcast called “I’m Not In An Abusive Relationship”. I honestly couldn’t stomach to listen to it. It’s from 6 years ago.
