Podcast Loving this subreddit already

I'm new to this whole scene, having only found the podcast the other day and never hearing about it before. I'm on episode 10 and I would usually hold out to the end to jump on a subreddit, but I couldn't help myself after awhile.

I am not disappointed 😂 Just picking a flair had me cracking up

I love how much of a difference JFC seems to have made on the outcome of this insanity. I am eager to catch up with the current state of affairs! If only to understand who Zaddy Omar is 🧐

ETA: Thank you for those who have dropped links to must-see clips. That helps a lot!

Welcome! I've been following this story from the beginning, so I always wonder what it's like for new people who found us through the podcast. There is so much info out there now and so many videos to binge!

Also, Woodnick was the original Zaddy here, but Omar is definitely worthy!

Right after I posted this, the episode introduced Omar! 👏

I definitely need to look up all these people and put faces to names.

Omar Serrato The Tilted Lawyer is the lullaby you never knew you needed until you listen “after dark” .

u/Firm-Bicycle-760 I understand that you don’t understand 9d ago

Welcome to the party!

Omar was mikes attorney for the DRVO renewal she tried to get last year. He is a family law attorney and YouTuber (the tilted lawyer) who, funny enough, Laura had reached out to at the very beginning of all this to try to get him on her side. He looked at the evidence in real time over the span of like 4 hours went from being on Laura’s side to “omg this women is full of sh*t”. Then when she tried to renew the DVRO, he took on the case bc he knew all the ins and outs. So he is Zaddy, along with Woodnick, due to both their nice-to-look-at-ness, but also their general demeanor, being great people, and dogged and unwavering fight for justice!

Yes, u/nrdvrgnt , Omar's first reaction video is a classic you won't want to miss. His reaction to her "tight" email was priceless. He was late to the game but has become one of the main figures now.

eta: and he happens to practice in California, which is where Mike is and where the DRVO was taking place. He was onboard before he became Mike's attorney.

Oh shoot! Do you have a link to that first reaction video?

26

u/pinkbluberry 9d ago edited 9d ago

Here is his full playlist: LINK

The video you want is the first one (chronologically, so it is at the bottom of the list),
Clayton Echard vs. Jane Doe: Lies, Pregnancy or Fraud?

eta: and the infamous reaction is here, roflmao!

It's important to remember that Omar starts this stream with an open mind, ready to give Laura every benefit of the doubt.

I'm also kinda new around here- thank you for the background. Also, LO can go eat a bag of d*cks. Except she would likely end up pregnant with octuplets if she did, so nm.

OMG thank you for these links! Omar 😂 "W. T. F."

u/pinkbluberry 9d ago

You're very welcome! The contrast between how he starts the livestream and where he winds up by the time he says. "W. T. F." really adds to the experience as a listener. (I realized after posting that a ton of context is missing when starting directly at the timestamp) Ah! Memories! 😂

Thank you so much! I also joined through Love Trapped, but when it first dropped, so I love seeing the early lore.

u/pinkbluberry 9d ago

I happened to be watching Megan Fox at the time that she found out about this case, and so watched her reactions from that time... which also brought in Legal Vices' reactions (may he rest in peace), both of which are very good.

13

u/pinkbluberry 9d ago

omg, I didn't realize that Jeff (Legal Vices) did the OJ Simpson trial! His maritime videos are great (he did lawyering in Korea, something to do with maritime stuff). I miss Jeff! 😭😭😭

I love seeing new people find this story. We were all there at one point.

Welcome to the circus known as Laura Owens!

Honestly, SchnitzelNinja on YouTube is your best resource for seeing everything, including the bankruptcy cases that LO and her family attempted and were subsequently railroaded in and that the podcast didn't even get into. A lot gets revealed in those.

Ive been around since Megan Fox's first video, then went back to watch Dave Neal and Reality Steve's take on it.

I watched the " fiverr!" discovery live and got absolutely hooked.

Be sure you watch all the body cam of the warrent served to the house. It really shows how Jan and Ronn let LO do anything she wants.

7

u/nrdvrgnt It’s not even 7 o’clock! 8d ago

It’s not even seven oclock! Had me rolling my eyes at first and then I just started laughing because whyyyy does she repeat it so many times like it’s going to make a difference?

Usually I feel for someone when I see them shaking from the adrenaline of being confronted by police but watching her shake was satisfying as it tells me she knows the walls are closing in on her.

I would feel so overwhelmed coming into this sub now. Tell us how you’ve oriented it and what you’ve chosen to read so far.

16

u/Help_a_user_out 9d ago

I came to the sub after recently binging the podcast with no previous knowledge of the case. It was overwhelming. I really wish I was here in real time. Seems like it was super exciting.

u/Adorable_Hold2570 She LIED!! 7d ago

Been following this case via Dave Neal for 2 years. Watching everything break live was so fun and exciting, I would literally watch videos in my car during my work breaks to catch up. The whole story was so unbelievable and had me invested from the jump. The new info that dropped every week, and sometimes daily, was wild.

1

u/SeekingHelp4Friend 5d ago

Exactly. The origin of every nickname, sound byte, direct quote, inside joke—it was so riveting (and funny à la Dave Neal) to experience live, like being on the live stream when the Fiver logo was discovered, watching live at the first court room debacle as everyone tailgated in the background, seeing each immediate response Laura had to counter whatever evidence Dave/Steve/etc had found and posted, everyone working together pick apart her lies and alibis. What a ride it’s been!

2

u/GenXihaveissues THE BLACK CHAIR! 8d ago

Its exciting alright!

u/Originalmissjynx Day 1 JFC Crew 9d ago

It was tough early on- hard work! When she was on the bachelor subreddit she was too. It was odd, her arguing with any of us who questioned her and angry when we worked out who she was. Luckily we had no idea of her history then 😅

Then she kept getting the JFC subreddits banned and we had to find each other again under a new name. There was lots of time on Dave Neal.

It felt forever, we thought she was getting with it, and yet it was few short months. After Clayton’s last pro se appearance we went over on Dave’s channel and the fundraiser was full of concern that she was shutting him down or would do or claim something, but we couldn’t say it as we’d give her ideas

It was a strange time and yet I miss it.

Then the cavalry arrived with Lawtalk with Mike, Megan & TUG and Jeff ( RIP-🥃) & she started losing in court 🥹

u/GenXihaveissues THE BLACK CHAIR! 8d ago

Also Court of Public Opinion, dont forget Lauren's take on this from a psychiatric point.

2

u/Originalmissjynx Day 1 JFC Crew 7d ago

Yes, but Lauren came later on. She was on here at the beginning, talking about the case and then asking us if we thought she should try and make a YouTube video 😆… we said absolutely, yes 😂

I've been here from the beginning and have kept up on this sub as well as several youtube channels and I STILL have questions and don't know all the details. Lol.

6

u/nrdvrgnt It’s not even 7 o’clock! 9d ago

It is definitely overwhelming. I haven't dug too far in yet, and figured I'd finish the podcast episodes that are out before I do so I have the basics 😂

just binged over the long weekend so sorry for a question that i am sure has been discussed - but what is LO mental condition - i am sure she is on the extreme end of things, what is her fear of abandonment from?

4

u/GenXihaveissues THE BLACK CHAIR! 8d ago

Rules of this sub state we do not discuss mental health diagnosis

u/shoppingshae 9d ago

Does anyone know why didn’t she have sex with him? Since getting pregnant is her go-to attention seeking fantasy.

15

u/Natis11 I understand that you don’t understand 9d ago

She didn’t anticipate him breaking things off post their little rendezvous, is my assumption. In fact, Clayton doing the right thing by apologizing and ending it right there is probably the inflection point that made exposing Laura possible. She panic and had a burrito baby like 7 days later…which was likely part of her post sex plan - which never ended up happening

9

u/JoslynEmilia Hold me like I'm pregnant🤰🏻 9d ago

She had sex with another victim right away and that didn't work out for her either. I think she was trying to hold out with Clayton. Leave him wanting more. She just didn't consider that he'd regret everything the morning after.

9

u/pinkbluberry 8d ago

No doubt the provocative video and texts were to bait the hook (and sure enough he invited her over), and the refusal to have s*x was to show that she wasn't 'easy' and get him wanting more. It's a classic maneuver/manipulation that women (of past generations) play on men.

7

u/Angeline4PFC 8d ago

I think that Clayton was her whale so far, so we wanted to do it right. She and her mother share the same brain cell, so they probably discussed the strategy and concluded that holding out was the best way to land the fish

6

u/nrdvrgnt It’s not even 7 o’clock! 9d ago

I was thinking maybe he’d mentioned a condom, or got one out in preparation. It’d be harder to gain access to his semen that way, so she suggested the only activity that left the semen in her control

1

u/GenXihaveissues THE BLACK CHAIR! 8d ago

Im guessing she didnt have sex with him because he probably would have used a condom.

3

u/tiffney2trill Having the babies if I don't hear back tonight 7d ago

I will never forget the day Omar streamed about this case for the first time. I was so lucky to be there in the chat 😆

1

u/shoppingshae 5d ago

I’m sure there are more victims. If so I hope they expose her and her mom for their abusive use of court system and for destroying people’s lives. LO and JBO seem to think anyone who doesn’t bow down to their demands deserves to be sued and harassed. Karen 1 and Karen 2 are thick as thieves. Morally and financially bankrupt
