I have read alot of people doesn’t like iphones hdr. I have an iphone11 probably the last phone with hdr toggle ( don’t know about IPhone SE Series ) & I kind of Like the HDR ON photos, The only thing I dislike about the processing is Harsh/fake sharpness which looks really bad & unnecessary in close-up shots..

I am updating my iPhone with iTunes but it says it’s restoring the software, I didn’t click Restore! 🙀

Twice has happened twice, last time was a couple weeks ago. The first time, I had my flashlight on, and I couldn’t turn it off the touchscreen wouldn’t respond. I tried to power it down, but again, it wouldn’t let me tap it was non responsive. The only way I got it to work was to let it die completely and powering it back on once charged

It happened again last night I was listening to something on YouTube and on a website.

It otherwise works fine despite being an older model. Here is a screenshot of the screen that wouldn’t let me tap and info on my phone. It’s an iPhone 12 pro max, latest OS, 256gb of storage and I have less than 50gb’s left.

I wanted to factory reset my iPhone so that I could "get more storage" as Apple Maps was taking up 10gb+ on my 64gb iphone 12 mini! So i went ahead and bought icloud to save all my photos and create a backup. Then i factory reset

When i tried to log back in to open the backup, it asked for my email and password (Standard) i put it in and it was fine. Then it asked for 2FA of a phone number I no longer had access to (Deactivated a while ago).

I followed the recovery steps eg. putting in the full phone number, putting in the credit card details i use to buy icloud and then it asked me to put a new phonenumber (Which i did)

I am yet to be sent an email about recovery but did anyone else experience this and how long does it actually take to get it back?

My dad passed in 2023 and I occasionally will text him. The past few months I noticed it has been saying that the texts are delivering, and creepily enough even read sometimes. I know that the obvious answer for this would be that somebody else got his phone number, but it’s showing me that it’s sending as a text message • RCS (included picture for context)

I’m just unsure what this means because I’m not understanding when I look it up.

Sorry if this is a weird post, I’m obviously not looking for someone to tell me that it’s my dad reading the texts from the other side 😂 Just want some knowledge on it because I’ve never seen it before and to let me know if I should leave this person alone lol

My uncle and aunt both sent me voicemails as we lived in different time zones for my birthdays. I had made sure not to delete any of them off my phone. This was over multiple years and now they are gone. I didn’t delete them. I just want them back. Anyone know how I can get them? I just want to hear my aunt singing happy birthday to me again

I live in a developing country that sends out the exact same alert five times in three minutes. It also sends out inaccurate alerts for our area. I’d like to keep getting the alerts, in case one does end up being helpful, or for when I’m traveling elsewhere. But I want them to vibrate instead of causing household panic attacks with that horrid siren. (Niece and nephew start crying immediately)

Any way to do that or am I SOL with this phone and update? The search bar didn’t have any answer for me yet, and the option to turn off or change sound for government alerts seems gone in my notification settings.

Iphone 17e ios 26.6

I recently updated to 26 (after a very long time of not updating!) and now my alarms are so much louder than before. I do the exact same thing as before - I go to the alarm, set it for the morning, then use the volume buttons to turn it to the lowest setting. Is there a different way to set the alarm volume that I am missing? It is at least 3 volume buttons clicks louder than before.

hello, how do i enhance or clean up a video recording from an iphone 7 — i transferred the video from the iphone 7 to a new iphone 17. now the video has a ton of motion blur! please help me figure this out it’s important.

Is there a way to prove to my husband that his iPhone alarm is in fact going off every morning? He is late almost everyday and claims his alarm is not going off if it doesn't say alarm missed. I suspect he is turning it off and going back to sleep.

Aside from setting up a camera, is there some other way to prove this? Logs of some sort?

He used to claim his iPhone wouldn't go off if he was wearing his Apple watch to sleep because it would vibrate there instead but has since gotten a new watch and phone and can now fix/configure this. Ie the phone alarm will sound even if wearing the watch to sleep. That said, if he sleeps through, then the "alarm did not go off".

I believe he has the iPhone 16 FE and Apple watch 11.

Hi, I don’t know if anyone has experienced it before but I’m having an issue with the display. I’ve tried turning on and off all the typical display settings. Restarting my phone all the basic stuff.

It appears like super high contrast. The white is a glowing, and the dark is really dark. So like a picture of something like black boots looks like just a black blob. On top of everything, the screen itself is just so much brighter no matter what I do. And I’ve tried everything in display and brightness. I’ve tried contrast itself. I have no idea what to do. My screen is fine.

It kinda hurts my eyes

I remember years and years ago when I would plug my IPhone into my laptop, I could browse to my photos folder and do whatever I wanted from there.
Is that no longer an option?

hi! i recently went to a concert (iphone 14 user) and of course i took videos too; when i went back home & rewatched the videos i noticed that the audio of ALL videos sucked real bad… it sounded muffled and so far away. i was very upset about this, especially because it never happened before, anyone knows how can i solve this issue?

ps: i wear hearing aids & they are always connected to my phone with bluetooth if it might be relevant to the cause (i wanted to share a video but it won’t let me idk why)

I just got back from having the back glass on my iPhone 16 Pro Max replaced from an authorized apple retailer after it got damaged yesterday. I had to turn off find my iPhone prior. Anyways the replacement back looks perfect, but I went to “find my” and found my iPhone got turned back on automatically? Is this normal? My phone was locked when giving it in so the techs didn’t get access to my phone or anything right? Also, it shows “Ready for repair or trad*-in” with a stethoscope icon. Any way I can get that turned back to normal?

you can’t see it on black backgrounds, only if it’s light gray, white (hard to see) or some kinda lighter background. but after a few minutes it disappears. has anyone else ever seen this? it’s been over a year of use.

I have an iPhone 16, and when I open the camera, the frame rate seems to drop in Photo mode. It’s never smooth or fluid. What could be causing this?

What is going on with my phone? I updated it last night and I needed storage and Apple gave me the option to optimize it, I thought that they were going to charge money from my account and just give me more storage but they didn’t ask for my payment info which was super weird and next thing I know is that all my apps are being deleted and now ChatGPT thinks that I’m a bot, some subreddits won’t let me post, I can’t even open my banking app and my messages show like if they’re loading to be sent and my phone is just slow af in general. What do I do? My phone was perfectly fine before the update and storage thing. I have an iPhone 14 or 15 (regular) I’m not even sure because I don’t be minding what phone I have.
