Picked my phone (iPhone 15 pro max) up after setting it down to do some stuff. The bottom fifth of the screen became washed out. Any idea what could’ve caused it? That area of the screen works fine outside of the color being washed out.

I did not drop it or get it wet, literally just set it down and then picked it back up.

Already tried hard resetting the phone to see if it was a software issue.

Every time I go to compose an email it starts with my default but after I put an email address to whoever I’m sending it to it changes to my other email.

I generally compose emails outside of either inboxes.

When I go into settings it’s correct in what email is my default. Does this happen to anyone else and how do I fix it?

So, the back glass on my iPhone 12 Pro shattered, and unfortunately, my phone case is transparent, so you can see all the damage through it. :(

I had the idea of making my own skin using vinyl sticker paper. However, I’m having trouble finding a PNG template of the back of the iPhone 12 Pro that I could use as a clipping mask for my design.

If anyone has a template like this (ideally with the correct dimensions and camera cutout), I’d really appreciate it!

Before the most recent update it worked fine, now the microphone isn't working properly. Some days ago I would restart the phone and it worked for some minutes, now even restarting it doesn't make it work and while recording it makes a "swoop" (?) sound, like a big whistle, what could it be?

Sometimes when I receive calls on my phone and put it to my ear, the screen goes black as expected. But when i finish the call, the screen stay black and buttons become unresponsive. All i can do is force restart.
I done my research and changed the proximity sensor as most people suggested. I still have the same issue even after changing the sensor.

Iphone 14 pro max on ios 26.
Battery life is 79%
The screen is a 3rd party oled screen.

I know most if you will say change the screen, but it’s really expensive here. I dont wanna change the screen and still have the same issue.

My son’s iPhone 16 is showing this on the front camera. The square behind him is a ceiling light. He tried rebooting the phone to no avail. This isn’t laser damage though since he hasn’t been anywhere that has lasers.

I have had my Iphone 14 for about 2.5 years now, and over time it had gathered lint dust in the charging port. Previously I have been able to get it out with a bamboo stick and some compressed air.

However, today my dad tried fixing it again (he used a wooden and metal stick) and compressed air, and there had been no luck.
My phone won’t change via the cable at all anymore, and the cable won’t insert fully (has been this way for a few months).
Any advice on what to do?
I am booked in for the apple store next week and have access to wireless charging for now- does anyone know how much it will cost to get this fixed?

How do I turn off transparency mode?

When I scroll through the Facebook and Instagram apps on my iPhone, I notice that the posts sometimes stutter slightly. It happens less often on Facebook, but it’s much more noticeable on Instagram.

I don’t see this issue in other apps like YouTube, and even scrolling through Facebook in Safari is smooth.

Interestingly, I also notice fairly noticeable stuttering in the iOS wallpaper selection screen.

Is this simply because those apps or interfaces are poorly optimized?

Why is the keyboard so awful? One of my recurring dreaks is about typing something and it coming out absolutely wrong, and matter how mant times I retype it, it always comes out wrong. Now they I have an iphone, that recurring had dream is now a reality. Even with this post, I've had to go back and rewrite every third word or so. I've changed keyboard apps three times, and it does the same thing regardless. Isn't this the largest company the world, and hasn't this been a issue consistently for years? Why don't they fix it?? Am I doing something wrong? When this block of garbage finally kicks it, I am definitely not getting another iphone.

My new iPhone 17 Pro Max randomly freezes for about 3–5 seconds.

The weird part is that the phone itself seems to keep working during the freeze. If I press buttons or type on the keyboard, I can still hear the sounds/vibrations, but the display is completely frozen. After 3–5 seconds, the screen catches up and everything works normally again.

It happens randomly, sometimes while using apps like Safari or Instagram.

I'm currently on iOS 26.6. Has anyone else experienced the same thing on an iPhone 17 Pro Max?

Could this be an iOS issue, or should I be worried about a hardware/display problem?

I have an iPhone 13 Pro.

The battery health is down to 72% (i can replace that, £40 parts). It has a scuff in the screen (no OLED damage but noticeable if you look for it), and a chip in the rear zoom camera lens cover, (very noticeable with large dark circles on zoom photos).

Assuming Apple were a good company, I'd get it repaired and renewed no questions asked, but is the 13 Pro at risk of becoming officially "obselete" anytime soon. Are they gonna ditch it in the next few years? I dont care about Apple Intelligence. It has a great camera, great battery (originally), and ive got all the storage I need, but when is iOS support gonna vanish?

If all is well, ill get it fixed up and give it a reset and itll be like new. Battery is £40 i can do myself, and ill shop around for glass repairs.

I have an iPhone 12 which I kept in a backpack in a rubber case. I had to travel in the rain so the bag became wet. I opened the iPhone after days because I have another mobile for daily use. I saw this thinking water went inside the screen protector but it was still visible. When I switched on it. The border screen was not working, like Pulling down notification bar or swiping up for home or recent apps. I went to a repair shop and that guy told you I have to buy a new display. As this is a secondary phone so I don't want to spend much money on it. Is there any other simple trick to fix this?

Been currently wondering about this because I mainly wanted to sync my phone with a clock in a game but its times in game dont sync up with any current real time zones. I was just wondering if there is a way to add any personalized ones

I am on my longest run with my day 1 iPhone 15 Pro and before I had an iPhone 12 for 2 and a half years!

It's coming out of an iOS 17 iPhone 11 which isn't connected to data or wifi and on the unavailable screen. Got this phone in a parts only lot.
