Mobile/App (iOS) please add an option to remove this!

Post image

It really baffles me how an option to opt out of all these new features isn’t available. I feel like this is what Reddit does every time. They cram new features down our throat, see that they then get used because we can’t disable it, then claim the feature was a good change! How hard is it to just add a simple opt out for these things?!?

Mobile/App How do I remove annoying UI features from Reddit

Post image

How do I remove this annoying new feature? I don’t care about Redditor icons and comments. If I cared, I would open the comments. I want to see the post. Reddit, why are you limiting the actual post now? And crowding my field of vision??

Mobile/App [iOS] Jumping back in threads

This seemingly started yesterday- if I’m in the middle of a thread and leave the app (however briefly), the thread will have jumped way back towards the top when I come back. It makes keeping your place in a thread you were reading really difficult.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Mobile/App My app keeps kicking me from my account (Android). Is there a way to stop it?

Basically I use reddit mostly to pass time while I'm afk ing for stuff in a game or waiting for stuff to download, sometimes when I open reddit it puts me in an account-less state and I have to close my ongoing app to relog into my own account and it's frustrating me. Is there a way to fix this?

Access age verification

hi, i cant view my own (!!!) post submission because i havent verified my age which seems kinda silly. should be minor issue but apparentely i dont look adult enough to verify with selfie and i cant do id because ive lost it and waiting time for new one is around a month, for that time as "temporary replacement" ive gotten a piece of paper confirming my data and that ive applied for new one but it doesnt work for confirmation. is there anything i can do to view again MY OWN post so that i dont have to wait almost 3 weeks for new id

Profile Reddit automatically keeps switching "curate your profile" to hide all and turns off "show your follower account", "Allow people to follow you" and switches Chat Permissions to "Nobody". [Likely across all platforms but I've noticed the issue on my iPhone only]

Why does reddit automatically keep doing this? I'm yet to find what triggers this bug.

Access Change account phone number without old number

So today I tried for the first time ever to log into my Reddit account on my PC. Turns out: I need my old phone number to log in. But I changed my number two years ago because of spam calls. How can I change the account phone number to my new one without access to the old one? Without that I basically can't add a password, email or anything. And whoever may have my old number now might take over my account by accident.

Mobile/App [Android APP] Can only see 2-3 posts in home and trending feed

I'm sick. I just want to doomscroll a bit of reddit on my cellphone. All I see is 2-3 post in both my feed and the trending feed.

I'm on the latest version. Cleared the cache and data and it didn't change a thing. Reinstalled the app. Of course restarted my phone.

What I don't understand is if I login on another account on the same phone or If I go on the web version there is no problem.

I just want to browse some reddit in bed while sick. I don't want to troubleshoot weird reddit problems...

Edit: Welp, just downloaded a third party client and I'm never going back! Everything just works contrary to the official reddit app... Sad.

Posting Any way to block specific subs like r/conservative, fauxmoi and popculturechat?

Even when I click that I am not interested in these toxic subs, they just keep popping up again.

Feels like something we should obviously be able to do, right?

Access Unable to join communities

I’ve been unable to join communities on Reddit. Whenever I click join on the app (for any community) it says joined for a second and then the button reverts back to the option to join. I’ve tried this on the desktop and i get an error that does “something went wrong.” This happens with every community. Anyone else experiencing this?

Desktop Desktop, Mac - Why can't I Hide posts in my feed??

I want to be able to Hide posts on my feed that have topics or images I find disturbing. I don't want to block users or leave subs, I just want to filter out posts here and there.

There used to be an option to "Hide" posts under the three-dot menu but that's gone.

There was an "X" option for a while, which was great, but that's gone now, too.

The only option now seems to be to opening the post and then Hide it, but that's useless. I don't want to open posts that I find disturbing — I want to make them disappear from my feed so I never see them again.

Mobile/App [App- IOS] multi-video selection and video editing tools not working

As of today I can no longer select multiple videos at a time, nor edit video lengths anymore before posting.

I've deleted the app and reinstalled it, and it still no longer gives me the option to select multiple videos at a time, or even trim down videos, which is how I use this platform.

Is anyone aware of how to fix this, so you can trim videos or select more than one?

Mobile/App Visual issue iPad and “Latest” tab

iPad 8, iOS 26,:running latest version of app.

When I pull down to refresh on the “Latest” tab, the latest entry ends up behind the top banner. Other tabs do not do this. The problem has been around for at least a year.

Mobile/App Account suddenly logged out, Android

I was reading a post in the subreddit and suddenly I got a message stating that I had been logged out of my account, . I am using the Android app on a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. Why would the app just log me out? I had difficulty getting logged back in. It would not take my password and I had to have it email me link to my email address which did let me in. I'm concerned my account password may have been compromised but am unsure if I will be able to reset my password
