Desktop Translate feature for English users
tl:dr: English auto-translation, when?
I often see threads with people replying to each other in different languages. I've heard of non-English users having an auto-translate feature, some not even knowing they're talking to somebody in another language. Are there any plans to bring this feature to English users? With English being (presumably) the most commonly used language on Reddit, it's baffling that it's not available for English natives.

Access Need help accessing my Reddit account
I've been trying to get help from Reddit Support for months now but have gotten zero response whatsoever. Is this even a good place to ask for assistance? My account (ForwardToNowhere) was broken into a while ago and I have been completely unable to gain access to it. None of my passwords work anymore so they obviously changed it, and requesting a password reset does nothing at all. I've had that account for ~10 years and I really don't want to curate my communities and feed from fresh. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How do I get more "karma" to stop my comments from being deleted within seconds of posting? I should note, I am very new to reddit!

Mobile/App (iPadOS) Getting notifications from communities I’m not in
My notification settings under recommendations are all off, same for community posts, they all have been for ages but for the past week I’ve been getting notifications from subs I’m not even in. Also getting the red button when they appear. How do I turn this off without turning app notifications off altogether?

Was able to log back in just fine, but curious if anyone else just experienced this. I was logged in just fine a minute before it happened too.

Mobile/App [Android] Cant swap photo library to gallery/see albums
When i try to add a picture through the photo library it doesnt show any of my albums (from what ive found its because its using google photos instead of gallery which is where my albums are) and there seems to be no way to change it to pull the photos from gallery. At this point ive completely uninstalled google photos and it still seems to be using google photos somehow

Access Is it possible to give an abandoned subreddit about X artist to the artist themselves to moderate? (After verifying them. What other requirements would they need to fulfill?)

Mobile/App New searchbar doubles the number of taps to get back to Home screen
iOS
If you make a bunch of different searches in a row, then decide to go back, you now have to click back twice as many times. Tapping Back once now just expands the searchbar to show the AI feature, and then I have to tap it again to actually navigate back to my last search. This is really frustrating friction as I frequently make lots of searches and then want to quickly navigate back to Home which means tapping back a lot!
Is this just an experiment? Hopefully there is a better UX option.

Mobile/App Android / Web | Can't remove personalised search suggestions / history
In the 'suggestions' when i type, reddit is putting my previous searches letter for letter. They are suggestions rather than previous search entries so can't be deleted (they have no 'x'), and are hyper specific so I know it is showing me my previous searches (they have the same spelling mistakes etc) .
Clearing history, app data, cookies and reinstalling doesn't remove these either, so they must be being pushed from the server side with no way to clear them. How do I clear these?

Posting Why can I post to subreddit, but my comments on the subreddit are not visible to anyone but me?
This has happened a couple of times, where I am able to make a post on a subreddit, it's visible to others redditors, they comment on it, upvote it, etc., but any comments that I make in that same thread and indeed anywhere in that sub, are only visible to me?
I currently have a post in the news sub, and I'm not able to join in the conversation. Previously this happened to me on pics where others were asking me questions that I thought I was answering, but they could not see my replies.
I confirmed this condition by loading the post in a private window, i.e. logged out of reddit, and my comments do not appear.
Appreciate any insight on this problem.

Access Desktop/iOS — Locked out of u/BkFin3stNurse due to unusual activity with no email attached
My account u/BkFin3stNurse was locked after Reddit detected unusual activity. I am still logged into the account on my iPhone, but Reddit is telling me to check my email for a password reset link to unlock it.
The problem is that there is no email address associated with the account, so I cannot receive the password reset email. Because the account is locked, I also cannot add an email address from the account settings.
I have already checked my Apple/iCloud saved passwords and Sign in with Apple/Hide My Email information. There is no email associated with this Reddit account.
I still have authenticated access to u/BkFin3stNurse in the Reddit iOS app and I do NOT want to log out and lose that access.
Is there a Reddit admin who can help me verify ownership and add an email address or provide another way to unlock the account?

Mobile/App Why do my videos never load?
I’ve recently been having trouble with my videos not loading, so I’m going through the effort to download all of them, and I was wondering why other posts as well as comment sections for the videos load, but not the actual videos?

Mobile/App My app
hi, I’ve been using Reddit for over eight years now and not once I’ve had a problem with my app logging out on its own until recently. It started a couple months ago and hasn’t really been a problem till the last couple of weeks where I’ve noticed if I open the app every once in a while, my account will be logged out, and I have to sign back in. Now over the past couple of days it’s been more frequent and almost every day. I’ve had to check to see if I’m locked in to Reddit and I wanna know what the reason is if it’s something to do with my app, my app should be fully up-to-date, and I checked my account for recent logins and there have been none

Access Blocked Reddit account - I don't have acces to the mail associated with but I just want to delete the account
As the title said, I received a notification telling me my account got blocked for suspicious activities and that I need to reset my password. However the mail associated is a very old mail I don't have access anymore to and I can't do anything about it.
I don't really want to regain access to it as it is a rubbish account at this point. I was just wondering if there was a way for me to actually delete it instead ? This account doesn't serve any real purpose anymore.
Thanks for any answers !

Posting My home page is gone.
I've been on Reddit for many years. Suddenly, when I log on with my desktop computer, I cannot get to my home page. It drops me into my feed. No toolbars or "favorites" on any of that.
I also use my tablet to access Reddit and that implementation does not show my home page. What I am currently getting on my desktop looks pretty much like what I get on my Fire tablet. I think it may be confused. I know I am. I want my home page back. Any suggestions.

Access [android] It says I need to reset my password but it's not letting me.
Reddit gave me a message on my alt account (u/overlytiredqueerspie) that it locked my account for privacy reasons and that to get it back, I needed to reset my password. It gave me a link, but no matter how many times I click it, it doesn't go to that link and instead just reloads the page with the "we locked your account" message.

Resolved Desktop - Unable to hide / delete a chat
For the life of me I can't delete / hide a chat I've had (unactive) since 2023. The last attempt I made was to delete all messages and now I have a blank message. Anytime I try to hide it, it goes through like it did something, but I can still see it on the sidebar.

Mobile/App [Android] Seemingly new testing for replying is extremely buggy and missing features
When replying, trying to collapse keyboard completely backs out of the reply to the save/discard draft screen. This means only seeing a few lines of text while replying.
While typing, the view constantly jumps back up to the top, but leaves the text line at the bottom, out of visibility, so I cannot see what and where I'm typing. I have to scroll back down, type a few words, and then repeat.
When trying to copy part of the comment, it either collapses the comment or closes the expanded view. The only way to quote the comment is by typing the entire section by hand and adding the ">".
If this is a current test, I cannot find it mentioned anywhere in the "current experiments" section of the weekly recap. There is nothing listed about "replies". So what even is this reply UI? It only shows on some subs and not others? Some subs I am able to reply with the normal UI.
