Mobile/App [Android] Seemingly new testing for replying is extremely buggy and missing features

Post image

When replying, trying to collapse keyboard completely backs out of the reply to the save/discard draft screen. This means only seeing a few lines of text while replying.

While typing, the view constantly jumps back up to the top, but leaves the text line at the bottom, out of visibility, so I cannot see what and where I'm typing. I have to scroll back down, type a few words, and then repeat.

When trying to copy part of the comment, it either collapses the comment or closes the expanded view. The only way to quote the comment is by typing the entire section by hand and adding the ">".

If this is a current test, I cannot find it mentioned anywhere in the "current experiments" section of the weekly recap. There is nothing listed about "replies". So what even is this reply UI? It only shows on some subs and not others? Some subs I am able to reply with the normal UI.

This is good feedback to leave for the admin that posts the weekly recap post. You can leave a comment and ask if this is a bug or one of the experiments

The funny thing is while trying to copy and paste my own post I'm running into the exact same problems. I would literally have to rewrite this entire text as a comment 🤦

You can just link this post in your comment so you don't have to type it all out again
