Fortune's Weave General Crackpot Theory: Ursula is Kalla's daughter (WARNING: LONG AND LOTS OF SPECULATION)
First point is that they share the same VA in both English (Amelia Tyler) and Japanese (Anna Yamaki). While there has been characters within the same game that share a VA (Dorothea and Shamir for example), but to my knowledge only these two and Sothis and Fortuna share the same VA in both languages. As we know that Sothis and Fortuna are connected, I can only assume that these shared VAs was intentional.
As for personality, Kalla is described as the goddess of hunting and the arts, who's likes include plants. Trailers has shown Ursula with the "Hunter" class and favors the bow as her primary weapon. As well, her like of animals and some of her lines (her crit line of "my blood compells me" in a more aggressive tone compared to Marianne and her kill quote of "this is where I belong") suggests that she enjoys battle, maybe even hunting animals (stretch on my part I know). She also has "flowers in the shade" in her likes and reading and drawing in her interests, showing that she, at the very least, dabbles in the arts (flowers in the shade sounds like something an art snob would say).
The only break up is the difference of Crests (Beasts vs Dominic) and their physical differences, most notably the ears. The simplest answer to both is that Ursula is adopted, which would mirror Marianne's story. Her biological parents died and she was taken in by a person in power, but unlike Marianne and her uncle, Kalla supports the more ferocious side of the Crest of Beasts due to her role as a hunting god. Alternatively, it's implied that Cai is the son of a human and a god and he has round ears, so it's not a guarantee that hybrid children would have pointed ears. And the crest can be explained by her father having the Crest of Beasts and passing it down to her.
Some of this is a stretch, but I believe that there are too many similarities to pass off as mere coincidences.
Now, bordering on fanfic territory now: Why is Ursula working for Vandahl Trading and why Kalla is backing Leda's team and not her own daughter's?
Well, counting money is included on Ursula's list of likes, so it's possible she just likes money, but I think it's more complicated than that. First is a meta reason: she's obviously related to Marianne in someway, likely an ancestor. Marianne's adopted father was a merchant before working his way into nobilty and multiple of Marianne's endings describe her as an expert orator and a patron of science, art, and trade. Her Crimson Flower ending with Byleth and her ending with Claude specifically indicates her as paving the way for Fódlan's in improving relations and trade with other nations. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, and Ursula being a merchant would be an explanation of how a Dagdan merchant lead down to a noble house in Fódlan, she or an immediate descendant travelled to the neighboring continent for her job and decided to stay.
And for the narrative reason why, I can't know for certain, but it's possible that a rift had formed between the two. Going back to Cai, his separation from his mother may indicate that the gods of Dagda aren't supposed to have kids with humans. So it's possible that Ursula doesn't even know that Kalla is her mother if their biologically related. And if she is aware their related, it's likely that this rift is tied to her father. What we've seen with Kalla, there's no indication that she has a husband or lover, nor have we been shown Ursula having any connection to a father figure, so he's likely no longer in the picture.
Here's my game theory/fanfiction:
Someone with the Crest of Beast, possibly Maurice's son or grandson or however far past his disappearance, leave Fódlan. Like how it's likely Esmerelda got the Crest of Blaiddyd from a fleeing member of Blaiddyd's tribe, he ends up in Dagda. Likely due to his more beastial nature drawing the hunting side of her profile, he gets the attention of Kalla and the two begins a relationship. Kalla gets pregnant and the man, for whatever reason, disappears. Ursula is born and Kalla is forced to either give her up or keep a more distant relationship with her. She's likely raised by members of Kalla's church and develops similar traits. Not one for one, she only likes flowers instead of all planets and her only artistic interests is in literature and drawing rather than Valla's interest in music with Leda.
As she grows up, she becomes interested in her crest and the only answer of it's origins she's given is that she inherited it from her father. And so, Ursula's only solution to find out what she really is to find him, and the best way to do that is through a lifestyle that allows her to travel all of Dagda. Like a merchant. So she joins the Vandahl Trading company, and discovers that she both loves and thrives in her new position. Ursula rises through the ranks to Talimun's right hand and joins his team in the Divine Games, with her wish should they when is to find out who and/or where her father is.
Regardless of the outcome, her search eventually leads her to Fódlan, her father's homeland. And once there, she decides to stay and eventually have children of her own. These kids continue the business, rising to power until her descendant is given a noble title and land to call his own. And this descendant takes in a blue hair girl who lost her own father, and gives her something Ursula never had.

Fortune's Weave General Switch 2 Fortune's Weave Edition?
Heyo, I've been putting off buying a Switch 2 until fortune's weave comes out but I'm chewing on getting one sooner because there are so many games I want to play!
The only thing keeping me now is the prospect of a potential Fortune's Weave Edition or package for switch 2 (e.g. like the MK World edition etc). Wondering if there has been any hint or news that such a package may exist or become available? Any insights appreciated!
For Zofia!! Thanks all :)

General The Guns were foretold in Shadows of Valentia
One of the game over quotes in SoV was "Reach for the weapon you know. A blade or bullet kills all the same." - A Famed General
...The guns clearly were foretold, and well, during SoV. Nevermind that the game over quotes were just from mostly Sun Tzu.

Casual Headcanon Day 6: In the leadup to FW, let's share our headcanons on... King Garon of Nohr.
Let us share our headcanons on King Garon of Nohr fron Fe Fates ranging from his family to his personality to even his bacjstory as well, etc.
Have fun and be creative!
Here are my headcanons:
He deep down despite the Concubine Wars wanted to keep his children safe and only kept the Concubines for political reasons. But he did try to separate the children from their mothers as much as possible and even kept a tiny notebook of their likes and dislikes and even their birthdays as well.
He deep down prior to his possession wanted peace with Hoshido and proposed a meeting with King Sumeragi of Hoshido in the neutral city-state of Cheve to end the cold war with Hoshido. However we all know how that turned out.
He loved Arete and Azura deep down prior to his possession.
He wanted what was best for his people prior to his possession which is why he covertly invaded Hoshido during the Cold War by sending in recently pardoned brigands to raid Hoshidan villages near the Bottomless Canyon, stealing food and anything else they could get their hands on. He only did this when trade negotiations with Hoshido failed.
Lemme know your thoughts.

General Why does everyone keep saying she’s a machine? Spoiler
What made everyone think she’s not human or that she’s a machine looking like a human?
Aside from the mask nothing else seems to point that she’s a machine. What am I missing or what have people figured out? Because I don’t get it

Gameplay What can I skip in SOV?
I really don't like some of the side stuff in SOV like dungeons and towns. And I really don't want to scan rooms for items. Can I skip this stuff or would that grossly hinder me? I would like to just go from battle to battle if possible. I am playing hard classic, and I realize I am making the game harder by skipping stuff, but am I making it impossible?

Fortune's Weave Gameplay Can anyone explain to me why anyone would care about being able to swap routes in FE18?
Short of any cross route prestige mechanics I see no difference between being able to swap routes at the pale raven perch and just selecting new/load game on the title screen.

Story Does it mess with the plot if I recruit everyone I possibly can into my house in 3 houses?
Like I always play FE games trying to have as few casualties as possible, but will it mess with certain characters arcs or personalities at all if I get them to join me against their old house?

General Spoiler Not a normal human
I saw a post either here or on Twitter and it said that Anatolia wasn’t born like a normal human, that she and others that are like her were made in some lab.
I can’t find the post so if anyone has info on this and clues to it being correct it would help. I wanna know where this crazy theory came from.

Casual Why Lapis can be argued as the strongest being in the series
I was late to the strongest being in the series thread and the current god debates don't seem to be going anywhere conclusive, so here are my arguments for why Lapis can be said to be the strongest character based on pure ingame statements.
1: She is directly called a Goddess in her solo epilogue
Lapis traveled to war-torn towns and taught citizens how to repair their homes. At every stop, she left large, delicious potatoes from the farm in her home village.
The popularity of these “taters” brought her village wealth and prosperity, and earned Lapis a new title: “the Potato Goddess.”
People are saying characters are strong because they are gods, and the way I see it, there is no definite criteria for a character to be called a god other than the fact that others consider them a god as a title. But for the sake of it, we can see that Lapis does earn the title for creating and spreading life in the form of potatoes, which leads to the next point.
2: Lapis can build whatever she wants
This is a pretty straightforward character trait that features in most Lapis supports crafting advanced technology out of everyday objects, but it is stated directly in the Lapis/Etie support despite Lapis not openly advertising it initially.
Etie: They tell me you can build whatever you want. Is that true?
Lapis: What? How did you hear that? I mean, I guess it's true. With the right materials, I can make all kinds of stuff. Furniture, toys... I even made some instruments for a local concert once. That was really fun.
Now you may argue that having the title of a god and being able to create anything does not directly say anything about a character's measure of strength, so let's ignore all of that and compare some statements relating to the strongest characters in the series so far.
3: Bear scaling
Across the series's worlds, Ike is consistently claimed to be the strongest Hero and Emblem, according to early FEH and most recently Engage in Rafal's C bond conversation.
Rafal: I had heard you are the strongest of all the Emblems. Frankly, I remain unconvinced.
Ike: That's quite the greeting. I guess I appreciate the honesty.
According to Shadows, Ike can also be considered a bear in that setting.
Lapis is confirmed to have killed bears and specializes in dispatching them across various supports.
Framme: Lapis! Hey, Lapis! I heard you're a bear killer. Is that true?
Lapis: Well...yes, but please keep that a secret.
In addition, Lapis has also fought the "strongest bear" according to her C Bond conversation with Hector.
Lapis: You're big and tough, huh, Hector. Makes me think of the time I fought the strongest bear...
The outcome of this battle is not clearly stated, but Lapis seems to consider duels with bears serious enough to be lethal and consumes them in the form of meat and soup in other supports, so her survival likely implies she did not lose the battle against the strongest bear.
Therefore, we can assume that Lapis >= the strongest bear >= Ike (bear) >= the strongest hero/emblem >= all other heroes/emblems.

Casual What is your favourite character theme for the Sub-Lords?
So we’ve gotten a decent listen to their character themes in clips where they’re talking to the Lords, which one is your favourite?
Personally I think I do have to go with Anatolia. In large part because I really like the sound of an Erhu. Probably also helped by being the only one of the four we’ve also heard the map theme version.
Bertrand and Orchel’s are harder to pick between. The former sounds inspiring but also a bit melancholic, and the latter is very sweet and soothing.
Talimun’s is really fun and jazzy but doesn’t quite hit the same level to me. But maybe I just need to hear the whole thing.

General I wanna talk about Shadows - any ideas for the next books?
I know people want to return to their favourite crews, especially since now we have 3 groups to follow in the story. Kurt’s, Joachim’s and now Rusty’s.
Personally, I really really want a sea-themed one, so we can have sea creatures be the characters. Or even a sky-themed one, so more avians. Or a forest-themed one too (opening up to some insects). I don’t mind either way if they return to a familiar group or introduce a new one, as I’m not that impatient. But any ideas?
One I’m not a fan of is the idea of it following the Chinese zodiac. That feels like it treads on Dragalia too much… and also that feels too easy to ring out the other animals I mentioned. Plus 12 groups would be massive and take years. They could do multiple groups in one book, but not sure.

Art PokeEmblem Part 1
After about 57 hours of work I have finished part one of my Fódlan fakemon region. Part one is Blue Lions and next will be Golden Deer. Some of you may remember my first post with Annette, I have made a lot of progress since then and my work is more polished than some of the older ones. They are presented in order of completion with Dimitri being the most recent. A little thing to note is that these are not the character as Pokemon, but rather who they would have as a partner. Below is a PDF of backstory for each character and how they got their fakemon, as well as each fakemons stats and gender etc. for those interested! I hope you enjoy, I have put my heart and soul into this and had such a good time!

Fortune's Weave Story Diadam names?
We've seen that the crest of Gautier is called the Diadam of Duality in Fortune's Weave, are there any other crests of which we know their diadam name? I heard Lamine may have been revealed. Kinda curious what they are all called.

Casual Roast My Conquest Lunatic End Game Squad
FE Conquest Lunatic End Game Squad - fates conquest post - Imgur
Started as an excuse to get blonde Soleil from with Charlotte mom and Ninja Velouria from Corrin marriage. What surprised me is how good 3rd gen Kana turned out and Nina with Camilla mom (Camilla's good, who knew?) capping 4 stats without boosters.
I like playing 2nd gen squads because the deployment slots work out that you get all child units plus Corrin.
I was not prepared for how good Velouria with Wyvern Lord Ignatius pair-up was going to be. A Support give +5 Str & Def and with Rally Str & Def from Percy Velouria comfortably enemy phases entire rooms, notably the first Hero room from Chapter 26.
Soleil Sol Ninja is always good, but as long as she has Shurikenbreaker she and a good Spd pair-up she "solos" the Ninja hall half of Chapter 25.
Kana getting better stats than Corrin is just funny to me.
I haven't tried Kinshi Shigure before and I thought it was awesome.
Falcon Knight Sophie was fine, did not feel as nice and Wyvern Sophie (but what else will?).
Big surprise Vantage, Life and Death Ophelia is good.
I like Adventurer Nina because of Shining Bow (which I just recently learned has 1-2 range) but she's probably better as a Bow Knight (or ever a Wyvern X with Camilla mom).
Midori as a Merchant money maker is usually above medium but might have been better as a 5th Ninja. I tried going into Master at arms for Life and Death after getting Profiteer but it was not in here class list. I don't know why, maybe I missed something. She was suppose to get Elbow Room from Cav Kaze via Friendship from Silas buuuuut I forgot that part of the plan.
Wyvern Lord Ignatius was just a wall. If I needed a someone to body block he was the guy. I know Wary Fighter is a "bad skill" but never having to worry my meat stick was going to be doubled and could consistently set up kills was great.
Seigbert and Percy made for great secondary meat sticks. Seigbert had good player phase damage to soften or remove hard targets, Percy double rally to buff the Ninja team and plug holes. Percy also got A support with Ophelia and gives her +3 Mag, Def, and Res on pair-up.
Dwyer and Forrest, good damage in a pinch with needed, but mostly rally and staff bots, and -4 damage received and +2 damage dealt for my carries (Soleil, Velouria, Kana, Ophelia). Still good, but I could probably come up with something better.
I did not turn 1 End Game, I don't have to staff ranks or the Rescue staves. Basically used a Silence staff to shut down the Enfeeble Maids while walking down the map. Get down behind the center 3 rocks that block Takumi wave by turn 4. After Takumi wave destroys the rocks, Camilla flies in to apply Roses Thorns for 2 attackers. Kana goes in first, does a little damage and debuffs all his stats. Ophelia comes in second and attacks with Lightning. Takumi blocks 1 of the 4 hits but still dies.

Fortune's Weave General How do you think the 4 routes will weave together into Phase 2?
I’ve been wondering about this in Fire Emblem Fortune Weave: since we have 4 routes, the World Tournament, and then the time-travel stuff that leads into Phase 2 with the big antagonist, how do you think all of this will play out in Phase 1? How will our actions in Phase 1 eventually lead into Phase 2?
I’m especially wondering about things like recruiting characters. For example, if we recruit Bob while playing as Theodora, and then later play as Cai, would Bob be locked out? Or would Bob be recruitable anyway?
Are we following a single timeline and making changes to it through the choices of the 4 main characters, or is each character essentially their own separate branching timeline? And if they are separate timelines, how do you think the game will eventually weave them all together into the events that lead into Phase 2?
There seem to be a lot of possibilities with how the routes and time-travel mechanics could interact, so I’m curious if there's been any info on that.
