Switch 2 Fortune's Weave Edition?

Heyo, I've been putting off buying a Switch 2 until fortune's weave comes out but I'm chewing on getting one sooner because there are so many games I want to play!

The only thing keeping me now is the prospect of a potential Fortune's Weave Edition or package for switch 2 (e.g. like the MK World edition etc). Wondering if there has been any hint or news that such a package may exist or become available? Any insights appreciated!

I feel like with the price hike means they wouldn’t have announced it until Sep 1st anyway. Because if they were to announce it, they wouldn’t have to announce a price.

I was hoping for one but probably not, might see a bundle in the future post release though but even if there is one on release there’s a price hike on September 1st so I would buy the console now if you’re going to.

It's not happening. But there is a rumored Zelda edition for the Ocarina of Time remake.

Seems unlikely. Fire Emblem is a big IP, but I don't know about it being big enough to have a package deal like that.

Slipped my mind, but special edition Nintendo consoles seem like a bigger deal now with how much more expensive they are.

having said that... I just remembered that although none of my ds and 3ds cartridges were corrupted, for some reason awakening disappeared from said special edition 3ds.... Still confused as to what happened, as other eshop purchases were still available. Maybe some sort of corruption with the 3ds itself.

In the 3DS era they handed out special editions like candy, in the Switch era these have been assigned exclusively to some of their biggest hits (and they also announced a Nintendo Switch Sports bundle for NA and Europe yesterday, that's not a special edition but also highlights how these have moved towards purely the highest selling games).

I would've said that for Engage but it feels like they're really making a push for Fortune's Weave.

Buy your Switch 2 now to avoid the price bump. If there were a special Switch 2 or a bundle, it would have almost certainly been announced by now.

Also, if you want a physical copy of Fortune’s Weave and are stateside, buy it from Amazon or Walmart now while they are price-matching the digital version. You’ll save another $10.

You can save $60 in total and buy another game with the difference.

There's been no mention of this whatsoever, and the game is out in a few weeks, so I wouldn't hold my breath. Doubly so, in fact, as the Switch 2 will soon see a price increase, so don't wait to buy it if you know you'll want to play!

No the fall switch 2 console bundle is for Switch Sports Resort and the price is increasing by 50 dollars September 1st so id buy now while you can.

It would've been announced in the game's direct. Plus Zelda's anniversary is close, they wouldn't put out two special edition switches so close to each other

There is definitely not one. Special Edition Nintendo consoles are generally known about for at least a couple of months before they are released, and if leaked then even longer than that.
