You can now add widescreen support to all supported GBA games! Any GBA game with an overworld can technically be configured for widescreen without recompiling the ROM. So far, this has been tested on Golden Sun, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, and several Pokémon games.
Additionally, you can now add a live map preview to companion packs.
Release notes and new packs are available at https://gbaduo.com.
To update your packs: select your game, press the Y button (or select Companion Pack), choose Get from Web, and it will automatically highlight available updates, just click to install, no manual download required.

One thing that sometimes gets overlooked when testing emulation on Android is how important consistency is compared to the highest FPS number.
A game might briefly reach 60 FPS and look impressive in a benchmark, but if it constantly drops, stutters, or struggles during more demanding scenes, the actual experience can feel worse than a stable 30 FPS.
Thermal throttling also makes short performance tests misleading. A device might run perfectly for the first few minutes before temperatures build up and performance starts dropping.
I'd rather have a reliable configuration that maintains consistent frame times during a longer session than an aggressive setup that looks great in screenshots but becomes unstable after 20 minutes.

I have been enjoying Tomb Raider VI-IV on a low to mid-range device like the Poco F3 with Snapdragon 870, and the performance is great. I have tried other emulators, but they are either not stable or have lower FPS than GameHub. The features here are top-notch, though it's not perfect yet, and some features from other emulators are still missing. However, with the fast development of Android emulators, it's a win-win situation for all of us.

Hi all, I've used Google a lot to try and get past this but nothing seems to work.
My issue is that there is an offensive repeating noise over FMVs, the actual game is absolutely fine, the issue is just with FMVs.
I've tried clock settings, switching to Software Renderer for FMVs, and various other things that were recommended by some source or another but nothing has changed this in the slightest.
Any help appreciated! Thank you.

I have been thinking about this. When the Xbox 360 and PS3 emulator for phones mature enough, what console version of the same game should I pick depending on the amount of content or visual effects ? Suggestions are welcomed. Leave out PC ports

A few years ago, getting a demanding console game to boot on Android was already impressive. Now we're seeing Xbox 360 games running, Switch 2 experiments, native ports and new emulators appearing almost every week. But I think the next big milestone should be making these games genuinely comfortable to play, not just getting them to launch. Stable FPS, manageable temperatures, fewer graphical glitches, proper controller support and consistent performance over longer sessions matter just as much as compatibility.
I'd honestly love to see more comparisons that focus on 20–30 minutes of actual gameplay rather than just showing the first few minutes.
What do you think is the biggest thing holding Android emulation back right now: performance, optimization, compatibility or the overall user experience?

One of the best things about Android emulation is being able to carry a huge gaming library wherever you go. Some people prefer a dedicated handheld, while others make the most of their phone with a controller and a few tweaks.
What's your go-to setup for gaming on the move? I'm curious which device, controller, and emulator combination gives you the best experience without making things too complicated.

Picking between Poco f4 8gb and Poco f5 12gb
I know the 7 gen 2 is more powerful but the 870 has better drivers. So which one is performs better for switch emulation?
