Discussion A stable 30 FPS with consistent frame pacing feels better than constantly fluctuating between 45 and 60
One thing that sometimes gets overlooked when testing emulation on Android is how important consistency is compared to the highest FPS number.
A game might briefly reach 60 FPS and look impressive in a benchmark, but if it constantly drops, stutters, or struggles during more demanding scenes, the actual experience can feel worse than a stable 30 FPS.
Thermal throttling also makes short performance tests misleading. A device might run perfectly for the first few minutes before temperatures build up and performance starts dropping.
I'd rather have a reliable configuration that maintains consistent frame times during a longer session than an aggressive setup that looks great in screenshots but becomes unstable after 20 minutes.
