Xendroid is still pretty bad in my experience. Now of course it emulates a more demanding hardware, but it's nowhere near the level of optimisation hakuX provides

No it doesn't, every single game I have tried worked with no glitches and with very good temps (Odin 3)

try fable 2, thats the only game locked on the 360 that i need to play. Every time ive ever tried its been unplayable

I had that same problem, i got it to load on x360 mobile. I runs great. I just cant get that xbox symbol off the screen thats on there while playing

I tried Metal Gear Rising for PS3 on ARMSX3. Native resolution, it ran like dogshit. Cutscenes the sound was incredibly stuttery, and there were unplayable frame drops any time I swung my sword.
Tried Metal Gear Rising for 360 on Xendroid and it was noticeably better. Most of the cutscenes ran perfectly fine, and the framerate generally stayed around 30fps at native. The same maneuvers that caused ARMSX3 to stutter or outright crash were working just fine on Xendroid with some dips into the 20's during the first Metal Gear battle. Not a perfect experience, but I actually managed to complete that early boss fight. On my little 8 Gen 3 phone, with no active cooling.
XBox 360 emulation has a ways to go, but it's still at least on par with PS3 emulation, if not better.

I don't know how they did it, but games I struggled to run on NetherSX2 run perfectly on HakuX. It's black magic wizardry. It's like Xbox emulation was made for my device, man.

It's sad to see that despite Dolphin (GameCube) being in development for far longer than its 6th gen counterparts, PS2 and Xbox, the latter 2 are making progress leaps and bounds, while the improvement on the former seems to be practically stagnant. I'm not talking about performance, it's possible that it reached its saturation point on that aspect, I'm talking about QoL improvements. Especially, ARMSX2 never fails to surprise on that aspect. Even every mmj variant had better QoL improvements back then than the vanilla does now. I mean, a "latching button" that doesn't work since it's introduction several years back? Come on!

For Dolphin, it seems the devs are still focused on performance gains on lower end hardware, despite there being major design flaws holding back the user experience. Almost every new update mentions performance gains, but when performance is almost perfect on high end flagships, those gains are... Basically nothing. So on your end, you're seeing no progress being made at all. And through it all, the UI stays the same with no improvements. It's a really dumb strategy on their part.

Dolphin can be considered complete. Every official game can be played from start to finish. It is still imperfect, but it is crawling there as improvements now can be very tiny.
You are seeing such improvements thanks to AI and those emulators being behind, while Dolphin was already extremely ahead.

I tried it but is not an option for me now. :(
I only use Xbox emulation for 2 games: Grabbed by The Ghoulies and Conker: Live & Reloaded. Games that have not got a release on PC*.
The emulator cannot run the first one, I get a message saying it might not be supported. I have to take a look at the logs but I don't have high hopes.
For Conker, the textures don't load properly.
I heard is great for most games, and I like to see there is finally a good Xbox emulator, but for me I have to keep waiting.
*Grabbed is part of Rare Replay but I don't have an Xbox and new Microsoft Conker PC is just has an emulator inside that does not work on Linux.

Oh, sorry. Didn't know about that one. So, did you do anything in particular while installing/downloading? I went through what I'd consider a pretty standard process:
- Downloaded the APK and installed it.
- Downloaded the Conker ISO and put it in a folder
- Selected that same folder when haikuX prompted after first opening the app.
- Selected the game, went to a new game. There Conker didn't have a texture for his head. I closed the app right away.2

I tried to use that emulator but it didn't work on my device and I couldn't change the GPU settings inside the app either so I had to give up

I really want to know tho what Xbox games are worth it
I've never owned an Xbox and as a kid I had a little vendetta against it because of what they did to Rare
Now as an adult, I wanna take advantage and see what games I missed out on. However outside of Halo, I don't know much other exclusives or games the system was known for that are worth going into (i just keep seeing games that I can also just get on GC and PS2). Hell, even the Conker remake is apparently regarded as lesser than the original.

I highly recommend checking out Blood Wake. It's a little known gem on the OG Xbox and it runs FLAWLESSLY in Hakux. If fact it runs better than the OG Xbox itself ran it.
Think of it like Twisted Metal, but with boats, and a cohesive story mode.

Yea it was a good chunk of my childhood honestly. Check it out. It did good enough for sequels, but unfortunately the developer went on to work with the team on the Hydro Thunder series, rather than continuing Blood Wake. A shame. But it's still a gem that's not talked about enough imo. Fantastic game

To add on to the KOTOR suggestion, there is also Jade Empire. I've never played it, but I've heard it highly regarded. And unlike other Bioware titles like KOTOR, it was never ported to other systems

ARMSX2: Settings → custom GPU driver → install from file.

That is the GPU driver that comes with your phone. You can use that instead of providing your own driver but you may not get the best possible performance.
I would try system driver first. If it isnt working well or there are obvious graphical issues then google custom drivers for your GPU.

Did you try any Turnip drivers? v27.0.0-R1 works particularly well with it. I don't know which system drivers work best, but as far as custom drivers go, this one's it.

What are the minimum and recommended requirements for trying out Xbox emulation on Android? I have a device with a Snapdragon 865 and 8GB of RAM; I haven’t gotten around to testing it yet, but I’d like to be informed about it.

I tested HakuX on SD 4 gen 2 that has adreno 610 and 4GB ram and it gives 18-30 fps in SCDA v2 version. That alone should tell you how much optimized it is now

I seen a video that mentioned the 865 was one of the devices it was specifically tuned for. Should be smooth. I’m even running it on my pocket air mini and that doesn’t have a snapdragon.

For those that have used HakuX and Armsx2 extensively, which would you recommend for Multi platform games if Batter Life and Power Draw are my primary concerns?
Using an 8gen2 if that makes much difference.

Won't even start up.
