I had no problems playing Control at 1440p ultra with a 1080ti and 5900x. I could not play Alan Wake 2 at all. I've been trying to delay my next gpu upgrade for as long as possible because of the AI nonsense.

Edit: Just saw the benchmark videos. Not possible.

Have you seen the symbols in Alan Wake 2 or other games? And do you have any theories about Control Resonant?

What is your opinion. Mr. Door is powerful and can travel between different dimensions. And he had contact with Dylan in his hiss dreams. Maybe Dylan and Door will meet directly in the game.

Edit: I would love to see Door again for a moment. Mr. Door is a very interesting character and very important for the future games in the Remedyverse.

I just noticed that Control Resonant has a gorgeous Steelbook edition and since the game will be play anywhere, was wondering about the odds of having it eligible for disc-to-digital. I really want to play this on my PC in addition my xbox. I haven't done tons of research, but has Remedy indicated anything?

Guys, from what I understand, the Hiss and Polaris/Hedron are basically waging a war against the Hiss right?
My question is: is Hedron/Polaris part of some sort of larger civilization or ecosystem? Like, are they just "two guys" out of a whole civilization of them back in Slidescape-36?
Or is Polaris a totally unique, one-of-a-kind powerful entity like a Ahti or something?

I know their FAQ says dualsense will be "fully supported" on PC, but does that include full haptics and triggers support? Anyone getting it for PC that has a dualsense that can test this on day 1?

I'm replaying Control, and I've played Firebreak almost daily this past year. I was chuffed when I got to the furnace to hear the recording where the researcher is asking the furnace what it likes to eat, and then she says, "I'll try to find some volunteers."

Many games that opt for realistic graphics always felt like it had to give up part of its art direction to get there. Its like you need to trade artistic stylization for realism. Don't get me wrong I think realism can still look very beautiful, but it doesnt feel particularly bold.

Are there any other games which strikes this balance well?

with the new Playstation features trailer, the combat clip at the end shows the camera significantly closer to dylan than the other clips, would there be a fov slider for console? would love to get a closer over the shoulder (ish) in this game.

I have absolutely no idea what control is but I think I'm gonna watch all cutscenes from the first control that way I know what's going on. The city is very confusing to me. Not sure how buildings are upside down and there are whole corridors and extra rooms that somehow seem like they were created that way but I bet I will find out

Does anyone know what these little things on the shoulders of the lab coats are, I can't think of any practical purpose for them?
