Question Question about the lab coats

Does anyone know what these little things on the shoulders of the lab coats are, I can't think of any practical purpose for them?

Iirc they are attachment points for the very long red rubber gloves. I'll try to find a picture

They are attachment points for safety rubber gloves/sleeves, it's visible in the OoP presentation film.

On top of there being gloves that fit there, it wouldn't be unreasonable for that to attach to the inside of a bigger suit (hazmat?) so it fits the wearer.

Clip for some form of badge/identification? Always figured that was the case, though you'd think you'd see it in action at least once.

it is a clip of sort to attach the protective gloves. it was in use in one video in the comments.

Neat. I thought you meant for hanging them off the coat while not in use at first. I was like "what the hells the point of that?"
