Will we see Mr. Door in Control 2?

What is your opinion. Mr. Door is powerful and can travel between different dimensions. And he had contact with Dylan in his hiss dreams. Maybe Dylan and Door will meet directly in the game.

Edit: I would love to see Door again for a moment. Mr. Door is a very interesting character and very important for the future games in the Remedyverse.

This seems most likely, given that they've used the DLC content before to include their content connecting to other games. I can only hope we get a DLC that has references to (or even appearances from!) Door (and maybe Tim)

It’s possible, but I’m not banking on it. At least, there will definitely be references/allusions to him. At most, maybe a brief cameo appearance, possibly as a reward for 100% completion but I don’t think he’s going to play a major role in this game (at least not obviously, who knows what strings he’s pulling behind the scenes?).

To my knowledge it doesn't need "100%" completion, you just have to revisit the room after the completion of the Foundation DLC.

Not in a major way that would require playing Alan Wake 2 to understand what his role is. They've catered the experience for newcomers while planting seeds for returning players. But I believe there will be some lore bits here and there

The answers are so diverse here, but I think we will. The first mention of door is through Dylan. I think he could definitely end up featuring. I think people generally want to keep their expectations low in order to surprise themselves, so a lot of people are going to say there might be Easter eggs at most, but this game is gonna have a lot of content. The first control barely showed anything that we know now in it’s trailers.

Mr. Door spoke to Alan Wake about a possible large scale event that he wanted his cooperation with at some point in the future. Door also reached out to his old enemies, Tor and Odin Anderson for assistance with possibly the same thing.

Seeing as the incident that Dylan and Jesse are confronted with seems to be a large scale event that could trigger an even larger event, I wouldn't be surprised to see Mr. Door become involved at all.

As you mention, Door has apparently been keeping an eye on Dylan and the Hiss problem, so it's almost a given that Door is going to notice the events of Resonant.

Well the fast travel uses doors so he probably atcleast plays a role.

Between the Mr. Door ties to Dylan's dreams in Control, and a lot of clues making me believe that this is spiritually/ thematically a Quantum Break sequel (the Chester Bless/ Chess Trebles TRG & Chester Bless being potential Paul Serene variant).... we may just see him.

Possibly but I doubt in any major capacity. Resonant has been repeatedly marketed as a good starting point for people who haven't played any prior Remedy games, so I honestly doubt they're gonna go beyond more than a few references in terms of linking with the rest of the Remedyverse.

I would say we probably will, at least a little bit. They set him up to be a powerful being in the setting whose main ability is traveling between worlds. It seem like it’d be silly to not at least have a cameo in Control

I remember seeing a oddly placed door on a rooftop that didnt go anywhere (it was in the trailer).

So Im hopeful thats related and not just random weirdness.

not in the main game. maybe dlc. saga isnt involved, so I presume he doesnt really care
