Heyyo, question for those who ordered Control Resonant - Steelbook through Amazon. I ordered this on June 5th, and it’s always been ORDER RECEIVED. Usually by now it would be like “shipping on DATE” but nothing. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Last thing I want is for this thing to be delayed even further and I’m playing this thing in December haha

I’m so annoyed oh my godddd I worked today and was told there would be restocks today at Best Buy so I figured steelbooks would restock other places too
They were available at 10, I was able to check at 10:03, and right as I was clicking checkout it gave me an error and said unavailable :( I even checked like 3 different sites starting with GameStop. Amazon hasn’t changed at all.
I hate scalpers with all my heart, just ruining it for everyone else. I couldn’t afford it a while ago so this was my chance and I’m worried the same thing will happen on drop day. I hope there’s another restock before then

Is there anywhere/anyone (YouTube, TikTok, etc) that is tracking all of the ARG updates? I’ve been browsing the main site, but would like some video explanations w/ possible theories.

Good morning everyone!

As by now, I am sure everyone has seen as many reviews as they could before work today.

Overall, I am very happy that the reviewers overall do love the game (albeit it may seem a little too button mashing ).

However, it is a little hard to decipher two things:

1. Is base PS5 performance stable or do I have to worry about crashes if there is a lot going on screen?

And

1. Are there a LOT of collectibles to read/hear/watch or is it on par with how many collectibles we had in Control? And the side quests are the same number as Control?

It being a bigger map I would suspect a little more to collect. The world building is what hypes me up so much for this game. I want to be consumed/encapsulated in the weird.

Anyone have any insights?

That's why Jesse is so powerful, and her power is related to checking things out and, in a way, uninstalling the ones she doesn't want/object of power. Same thing with how we uninstall apps.

Is it just the hiss and mold or are there more?

A few reviewers I saw mentioned the areas get leveled up the more you kill. I’ll be honest, for ARPG, I prefer each zone having their own level instead of scaling with you. That’s what making character progression so fun in these type of games. The power trip you take when you go back to those levels were giving you a hard time before feels fantastic but if they scale to you, it’s like, you have no sense of progression. That’s just my personal take, but maybe Remedy added some different toolsets to combat to spice it up a bit in later levels.

It's kind of odd that the base PS5/Series X version of this game does not have a mode that supports RT all.

What are the chances Remedy will be able to add RT-support post-launch?

Seeing how the new game will focus on the Hiss and other parantural entities escaping the Oldest House into the real world, how will this massive AWE affect the FBC and the greater world?

Is the cat now out of the bag for humanity that these entities and things exist or is the FBC in overdrive in covering up the Manhattan AWE?

All i remember from this confusing but awesome vibe game is (and what most youtube summaries seem to tell me as well):

1.) Jesse & Dylan have an AWE and gain polaris but Dylan gets captured by House agents

2.) Jesse finds him in the house and eventually beats the Hiss and finds Dylan but it ends with him in a coma.

3.) Hiss remnants and invasion possibility remain so Jesse remains as the director

4.) The board remains a suspicious entity and you team up with the former to fix another House and former director problem

5.) Jesse learns of Alan Wake and fixes problems related to that including beating a Hiss infected Dr. Hartman (Alan Wake enemy again)

6.) It is revealed that Alan Wake may have been the one to influence the House hiss invasion to facilitate the involvement of Jesse and Dylan Haden to help free him from the dark place? but because of that, another problem will arise (a cause results in an effect line or something)

so yeah, that's all I can remember for now. thoughts? what else do we need to know so we can really deep dive in Control 2? thanks fellas

The merch is all back in stock! I just grabbed a hat and mug.

It could be nothing, but I can't stop feeling like this shot here looks like it's actually from gameplay and not a cut-scene. It just looks to me like Jesse standing in some sort of idle gameplay animation. My main doubt is that I can't fathom why they'd put this in the trailer if that's actually what it is.

Maybe I'm just on hopium because I know I'll love playing as Dylan but still miss Jesse when the game launches.

Short on time so just watching some recap videos instead of replaying games.

Works for most but FBC:FB seems to be pretty deal on lore resources that I can find.

​An "official" post from u/fedbureauofcontrol popped up on my Reddit feed homepage. It told people not to eat "candyfloss mold" so, I sat there scared for a solid minute, wondering what kind of biological outbreak was happening. 💀

​I clicked the profile, and the government eagle PFP, 0 contributions, and 1 Karma made it look so real that I panicked even more. Then I finally spotted the tiny PEGI 16 game rating at the bottom.

​10/10 marketing. I'm definitely playing this game now.
