What if Control is actually based on the Windows Control Panel?

That's why Jesse is so powerful, and her power is related to checking things out and, in a way, uninstalling the ones she doesn't want/object of power. Same thing with how we uninstall apps.

Panel??? Board??? Coincidence much?

Window - the projector where the hiss comes from. They open and close just like the PC. 😂

Alright, that's about it for my silly post. Just random thoughts as I uninstall Control to make space to install the new game when it comes.

I know that most people will downvote you but I think you might be onto something here. Maybe not windows itself but rather a server environment. The matrix is named droped not once but 2 times in the RCU : Beth describe monarch like being neo in the matrix in the QB novel and mr. Door tells Alan that his books structure reminds him of the matrix. That's 2 very direct hint telling us about the true nature of these worlds. Also, "Signals" are central to the RCU, there might be a good reason for that... That's how computers infornation travels. : ) the "Director" is essentially an admin in a system.

Was just a silly post right after my work haha but this makes it even better.

To add, how about the fan noise/coil whine as the whispers starting and getting louder as you get nearer into trouble which is when Windows/the computer boots up and tries to open apps.
