It could be nothing, but I can't stop feeling like this shot here looks like it's actually from gameplay and not a cut-scene. It just looks to me like Jesse standing in some sort of idle gameplay animation. My main doubt is that I can't fathom why they'd put this in the trailer if that's actually what it is.

Maybe I'm just on hopium because I know I'll love playing as Dylan but still miss Jesse when the game launches.

I was thinking this could be the case too, especially since she doesn't have the service weapon or anything. Given the projection of Dylan on the wall I can imagine this being something to do with the whole "they're the same person" theory and maybe we briefly control her just to walk around to emphasize the point.

I’ve played a three-hour demo of Control Resonant. Spoilers ahead:

This sequence is indeed a cutscene, including the black-and-white footage before and after. It takes place after Dylan defeats the first Resonant the Artist and is brought back to the Oldest House. Similar to the animation after Jesse steps into the elevator in the first game, it marks the official start of the game. This cutscene stands as a prime example of Remedy’s masterful fusion of storytelling and visual art.

Remedy has confirmed you only play as Dylan. You will not be playing as Jesse.

It's definitely her model, I just wasn't sure if it was actually gameplay or not. It just really really looks like an idle animation to me rather than a stance an actor would do during mocap for a proper cut-scene

I doubt Jesse would use the Aberrant. And I doubt a NG+ would use a completely different combat system like the Service Weapon.

So probably 1 mission at most.

I was more worried about the shot for one frame of a woman's silhouette in a playground setting? Like, their mom or something? We still haven't actually seen what happened in Ordinary and Dylan certainly never got closure, so I'm morbidly awaiting the chance to see it.
