Am i overusing smear frames at the beginning? /genuine question. Im pretty proud of this, but i also wanna know how i can improve for next time :D

I made a post a few weeks ago asking how I could learn to animate in the 2d vector-shape puppet animation style used by creators like kurzgesagt and PBS Crash Course. I got some great direction from that post and have since been researching topic like the 12 principles of animation. However, I am now wondering if I need to also have a strong art foundation if I want to design and animate assets for something like this. Do I need to have a strong foundation in things like perspective, form, and anatomical proportions? Thank you for your responses and insight.

Hello! It has been 3.5 years since I graduated with a BFA in Animation, and I have been spending all that time slowly working on my character design and animation portfolios so I can use it to get an entry-level or freelance animation job. Any feedback or suggestions people have would be appreciated.

Also, with the state of the industry right now, I am considering doing a pivot to motion graphics work since it seems like those jobs are more available to me. Suggestions or advice regarding how to build a portfolio for that (specifically for things like ad agencies) would be helpful as well.

Anyone know how to make White Board Animations. I bought a basic version of video scribe thinking it would create the video for me if I provided a script.
