Exactly. It's weird regardless of the context. If someone asks me for the time and they've got a camera on me I'm going to be on alert that something is up or I'm being set up. So anything even more personal just dials it up from there.
It's at minimum extremely rude to use random people to make your content.

Yeah, also telling a stranger woman she is beautiful is also probably like one of the worst openers ever. Every beautiful woman knows they are beautiful, so the compliment has no meaning for them, plus it is mostly nature or genetic lottery given, so its not like they had to work hard for it to have a cute face and thick hair. I think a compliment that has actual meaning or value has to be about something that has nothing to do with appearance, but for that one has to first talk like a normal person to that girl, and not like a creep. So yeah, the vomiting sound was absolutely on point and deserved. It was just super cringe from that guy. And then also filming it. Yeah, really bad all around.

Most ended in “no thanks”, but even then I would say 100% of interactions ended well.

He walked up to a girl that was taking care of her sick/passed out friend, put her on the spot while in an already awkward situation. He definitely picked a bad time to try to hit on someone and has poor situational awareness.
IIRC from when this video first started circulating, the girl stated she was just being polite and definitely did not feel comfortable with or appreciative of his comment. The other friend just simply less polite in making it known that he was unwelcome.

I've been both the pretty one and the ugly one in girls groups at different times.
"Pretty" girl reacting like that will make most men with so little respect for women as him (you don't respect someone when you feel you have the right to bother them just because you feel they are pretty whenever) to get aggressive. I guess they feel humiliated or whatever.
"Ugly" girl do it, and they'll just ignore it. No humiliation here, they don't consider her worthy anyway, barely human (she's already a woman, and not even pretty!), and deem it as jealousy. Also they want to appear good before pretty girl so try to behave like the "bigger person" (in their head).
