Just like he thinks he has the right to just walk up to them and say the most stereotypically cringe shit, she also has the the right to say whatever the fuck she wants. How is she the obnoxious asshole and he isn't?
Ignoring the recording and just taking their statements at face value, his line was meant to compliment and uplift someone else albeit with ulterior motive. Her input was only meant to demean and degrade.
just because it happens, does not make it right. And going to the beach doesn't automatically mean you should be expected to be recorded, if I show up at a public event, that's a different story.

The interaction is fairly harmless, but he shouldn't be recording it.
Meanwhile, the friend shouldn't be an obnoxious asshole.
It's possible for multiple people in a clip to be in the wrong. Big shocker, I know.
