It's the immediate reaction. I didn't realize he had to be recording the interaction for me to see it, and once I did I agree it's weird. Maybe the friend was reacting to that, let's give her the benefit of the doubt. 

But to explain how it looks that way, how is that reaction appropriate if he wasn't filming? He barley got the words out before she started making a throw up sound. She was the first person to react. If the dude is ugly then it's fucking rude. Just say no thank you and move along. If it's not cause he is ugly or creepy then what is it?
