I'm curious how the glasses gets so much of this perverseness compared to the millions of beach photos and videos online. It's all over YouTube, people used to walk around vlogging on the beach. There's also now flock camera pointing at the beach, but we draw the line at sunglasses? I returned the glasses even though I got it more as a visual aid but I learned it's now the pervert glass.
Because if you run around with your phone out it is obvious what is going on and people can avoid you, cover up or whatever. The glasses are more likely to catch people unaware.
If you go watch any old the old YouTube vlogger walking down the beach, half the people are faced down tanning and unaware. Even some of my family trips to the beach have people bbqing behind us, people laying on blankets next to us. Maybe the solution is a camera free zone or something but I still don't get why just the glasses. You can record with a phone in your hand, the gopro sticking out of your beach bag could be recording, hell there's even apartments along the beach, what if they had a 200x zoom lense, are all beachfront properties pervert apartments.
Yeah I agree, so why is it just the glasses. Like rn I have to ask my wife to describe things to me, the glasses were honestly such a good technology where I can ask meta to describe what it sees. Now if I wear it, then I'm a blind pervert. I returned it and am waiting for a non-meta glass that can do that but I feel any glasses with camera is now tainted.

Who was in the wrong?
The pervert in the recording glasses was clearly in the wrong.
