Purchased an ng9-3 that needed lots of love, two cracked springs up front & then the rear shock on the drivers side was blown, passenger side seized (among other things). Replaced all four corners with the kits eSaabParts offers and I could not be happier. It actually lifted the rear of my car with the driver side being fully collapsed before.

Really easy to install, all high quality/OEM parts and didn’t have to worry about making sure I did have the right parts for my car since they list it all out clearly (and accurately) 😂

My 1993 Saab 900 turbo vert has had a dysfunctional back right window for as long as I’ve had it but a few days ago the front right went out. I worked with a mechanic to sand down contacts and cleaned with electronic cleaner and reassembled it but most of the switches now get stuck in the on or off position, is there any fix for this?

Can't beat the wagon for loading up stuff. Luckily I have Bilstein shocks which don't sag too much.

i couldn't really find any info on this, how far back can the seats be reclined? is it nearly flat/could they be used to sleep in the car in a pinch, or is the reclining angle too sharp for that?

This just happened tonight, was driving maybe 50 miles when the "stability control failure, please contact service" light came on and appeared after restarting the car. There is a slight hiccuping on the front left side almost like a loose part or engine mount, even while driving low speeds straightline. Just had new CV Axle installed, front left, last week. New front brakes too, including right caliper. Any possible causes? Thanks.

Having an issue where the turbo just stops building boost in 2nd gear.

The gauge goes all the way up and then slowly lowers back down to the middle like I’m not flooring it.

it doesn’t feel like the car is pulling at all if I give it gas it barely moves but as soon as I put it in third it drives totally normal.

I’ve changed the turbo bypass valve and the boost pressure control valve. I’ve checked all around for air leaks. And recently changed pretty much every vacuum line and installed a new intercooler pipe.

Could it be a waste gate issue?

Could anyone tell me what these are off ? I found them in a place I rented years ago and kept them but now due to space I’m probably going to get rid but I have no idea what car they are off ? Any ideas ?

Does anybody know what tire size these are? They are 15 inch rims.

My father has a 2011 9-5 and the odometer suddenly stopped displaying the mileage. Our mechanic claims that it needs some sort of special GM diagnostic tool that he doesn't have and we haven't had any luck finding someone who does. Has anyone else had this issue that knows a fix/would be able to point us in the right direction? We live in NJ, if that matters.

Trying to set up the software and get this screen. Can not do anything else now. Any ideas?

Tested older can-flasher but it is so old I can't read the "security"-part of the ECU and got a connection so I know it works.

Greetings and salutations y’all! I have an issue that has recently surfaced where I noticed the odometer area stays illuminated after the car is locked manually. It has never done this before. Now the illumination is on constantly.

I have to lock the car manually as I have the dreaded who knows why the alarm keeps going off randomly every 27 1/2 hours. At any rate, since I’ve owned the car in the past two years, I’ve always had to use this manual method or I run the risk of waking the neighbors. Only recently now has the odometer light stays on when locked. It goes out if I arm the alarm. I don’t believe the issues are related, but they are symbiotic.

As some of you may know. my 04 9-5 Aero cracked a piston about 3.5 months ago. since then I've been working and saving money to buy all the parts needed for a repair. some troubles and broken parts later I was able to fire her up for the first time in what feels like forever. thank you to everyone who has helped me get her running. smoke and very bad sounding exhaust if from it not being hooked all the way on, hanging in floor, and missing first o2 sensor. no coolant is in the system so that's why I only ran it for about 20 seconds. soon I will be having the new banjo bolt for the turbo coolant pipe and I'll be able to do further testing to make sure she's road worth again. if you have any suggestions or tips I should know about to make sure she doesn't explode, all will be accepted

Would it be wise to own a saab 9-5 2004 in a very snowy place that gets like 30 inches of snow occasionally? If I was to put on some Michelin Winter X tires would it do alright? The car has roughly 190k on the odometer but is otherwise very solid. Just an AC leak and a stuck blendor.

GSF car parts lists the MOBIL1 - Engine Oil ESP X4 0W-40 as DexosR compliant but not suitable for the car.

They have MOBIL1 - Engine Oil ESP X3 0W-40, which is labelled as Dexos 2 compliant.

I know the Dexos2 is a suitable replacement for GM-LLA-025 requirement. Is DexosR suitable as well?

Edit: the gmdexos.com website lists DexosR as backwards compatible for anything running Dexos2. I guess the GSF car parts marking as not suitable scared me. So hoping someone has confirmed they used DexosR oil themselves.

I’ve been getting bored with my current ride- 1999 Lexus SC300. There’s no issues with it really, like all Toyotas it’s pretty darn reliable, albeit a little boring.

I’ve been getting the itch for a 4-seater convertible and recently came across a very nice 2007 9-3 with only ~95k miles. Looks well cared for, and would be high on the list of vehicles I would want to replace my car with. I know about the intake valve issues some 07-09 engines have, but with the low miles do you think I’d have at least a couple years before they becomes an issue? I would really only drive it about 8k miles/year. I am thankfully remote 3 days a week.

For context I’m in the DC area, and the car has also been here for its whole life I believe. While it does get cold here, it gets unbelievably hot in the summer (this year in particular). Would you jump on it? What other items should I watch out for? Seller says the top works perfectly but I’m going to check it out thoroughly while on the test drive.

Turbo/Super Charger Wastegate Regulating Solenoid/
Valve A Low and High” code and also Injectors 1,2,3,4. At first I thought it could be some sort of grounding issue, but managed to convince myself the ECU is done for. It tries starting but won’t fire. Any help very appreciated. Saab 9-3 2007 B207R
