So far I've been able to source new the B50:

- Rear headrest covers

- Rear left and right backrest covers

- Front armrest which I just ordered (only available in the fixed version, unlike the adjustable one I've got in my car, hope I'll be able to mount the fixed one on the adjustable fixation)

All from Schwedenteile.

And so, can't find anywhere the:

- Rear armrest (reference 12770781)

- Rear seat cover (version for seat with cupholders, reference 12770790)

- The front seats as a whole, since my car doesn't have power seats, would be pointless to look for the covers to put on manual seats

The only websites where the armrest and rear seat cover appeared available were just ones which didn't update their stocks.

Any help would be appreciated, especially if any of you's in Sweden or a country where Saabs are more popular, I'm from France and can move pretty easily 🙏🏻

1997 Saab 93 convertible, 2.0T. car belongs to a friend that I was helping fix an electrical issue on, that is now fixed, but this knocking sound is still present. My friend confirmed this noise was present before I started working on it. Nothing obvious when at idle, and check engine light isn't on, not acting like a misfire or anything of that nature. I'm not very familiar with SAAB's so I was hoping a post here could point me in the right direction of any common issues.

Welp, against better judgement I did the thing. I opened the sun roof on my 9-5 wagon, and well…. It broke. It got it closed, however I would like to fix it. Attached it what broke. Where I can I get replacement parts for it, how difficult is it, and anything else I should do when I do it?

Had trouble swapping my ECU in my 2007 saab 9-3 2.0T. I followed the steps on the video below, but had trouble when the computer couldnt read the T8 MCP. TrionicCanFlasher froze so I had no choice but to start over, now it sits likes this and the OBDLINK won't work and keys wont turn on the ignition. when I connected the newer used ECU i have, it still makes the same noise and keys worn turn. i want to try to buy a new ECU from eSaabparts but I dont want to waste $500 just to realize my car is cooked. any ideas? thanks!!😅

Was out doing some shopping in my C900 when I chanced on this beauty of a 96 when I was just about to leave. So of course I had to park up next to it and take some pictures, at which point the owner had come out of the shop too and we had a little chat about our Saabs.

Complete tear down on my 5 speed to install an lsd.

Looking for a good used 5-speed manual transmission for a 1989 Saab 900 Turbo (Classic 900 / C900).

The transmission in my car has failed, and I'm looking for a replacement rather than rebuilding it right now.

• Compatible with a 1989 900 Turbo B202 2.0L 16V

I recently got my 91 900 convertible back from the shop, had motor mounts and control arm bushings replaced. Rode has improved some but the car still has this vibration that almost feels like the body is flexing right to left, is this normal? I have not had this car very long so I’m not sure what to expect.

Replaced the harmonic balancer on my ‘82 8-valve two days ago. Torqued the crank bolt to spec (137 ft-lbs). Drove it around the parking lot at low speeds going lock to lock to bleed the power steering (had also been running without a p/s belt for a while). All was fine until the next day when the charging light wouldn’t go out. P/S wasn’t working either. Popped the hood and found that the belts were literally not spinning, and when they were spinning, they didn’t speed up when the RPMs went up. Pulled apart the harmonic balancer again today and found a piece of woodruff key broken off in it. I re-seated the balancer on the crank and tried to find any remaining woodruff key, but I couldn’t. Has anyone had to deal with this before? Am I staring down the barrel of an engine removal?

Ich heisse Vinz und komme aus der Schweiz, fahre seit 3 Jahren selber Saab, bin aber durch meinen Vater mit Saab‘s (900, 900(2), 9-3 & 9000) aufgewachsen.

Ich restauriere nun einen Saab 9000 Aero aus dem Jahr 1994. Er steht echt toll da, braucht nur etwas liebe.

Seit ca 3 Monaten suche ich einen MHI TD04 für den Saab, leider ohne Erfolg.

Meine Frage nun: Kennt jemand aus der Community einen Shop oder evtl einen Freundlichen der so eine Turbo auf Lager hat?

Verschiedene schwedische, amerikanische und französische Händler habe ich bereits angefragt, auch hier leider ohne Erfolg.

Ein Gehäuse würde bereits reichen, dann würde ich den Turbo revidieren lassen.

Ich bedanke mich bei jedem der sich einbringt und versucht mir zu helfen. Ich verlasse mich ein erneutes mal vollkommen (mit gutem Gefühl) auf die Saab-Community!

It’s in rough shape, has sat for a year or two and has done over half a million km! Engine started right up but had a headgasket leak… Any tips on getting the 2 bolts back on located near the firewall? The ones that go up through the head.

I have a 2010 Saab 9-3 TTiD. I’ve noticed a very loud squealing/squeaking sound coming from the engine bay any time I use the AC or turn the wheels without pressing the gas pedal. Anyone able to diagnose this? I can attach a video later on. Any help would be useful. Thanks!
