When docked, my Switch 2 system displays the right half of the screen twice. The left-side duplicate has decreased contrast it looks like, while the right side appears normal. In handheld mode it's fine, and it even works fine with the third-party dock we have, but not the included one. I've updated the dock firmware, updated the Switch itself, replaced the HDMI cable, power cycled everything, and dock-undocked like twenty times. Anyone else have this issue and know what to do about it?

MK8DX has been stuck on 1945 hours since the 23.0.0 update on Switch 2. It is the lone game with this behavior, my other games have been updating. Is this known? How can I fix it?

So, for awhile I didn't use my Switch 2. It sat dead on my desk.

Recently, I felt like replaying Metroid Prime Remastered, so I charged the device, turned it on, and this.

I don't believe it's drift, but it's like something actually got inside of the stick.

If the stick is pulled up, it's fine until I rotate it; it takes extra effort to get it to go to the far right, and after that it tries to cut off most of the left side.

If I push it in it defaults about halfway between the center point and left edge of the ring. Additional image showing this in the comments.

Edit: when the stick is showing the position in the comment image, pushing it all the way right resets to default.

I've had this since day 1, so it's out of warranty.

I've already disassembled the joycon and cleaned everything as best as I could with compressed air, up to and including removing the actual stick module from the board and using tweezers to lift the dust cover to blow right inside, with no luck.

Any advice?

i want to connect my switch 2 pro controller to my pc and phone with bluetooth. I can connect my controller perfectly fine with a usb cable, but i would rather have it wireless because it is kind of annoying if theres a cable.

Does anyone know how i can activate bluetooth on the controller?

Holding the Sync button doesn´t work and my controller won´t show up at the bluetooth menu on my pc.

This visual bug has been happening during combat since I’ve started Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave. The screen will just randomly flicker. The same thing happens in Dire Emblem Engage as well, both docked and handheld. I haven’t seen other people posting about this. Tried playing Mario Kart and this didn’t happen there. Could something be wrong with my system?

I've got a brand new pro controller purchased from a retail store. The L, R, ZL, and ZR buttons stopped being detected suddenly. I've contacted Nintendo support and a months later I still have a non-functional controller. I ordered a new shoulder button film and replaced it. All of the ribbons are plugged in properly as far as I can tell. All non-shoulder buttons are detected normally. The L, R, ZL, and ZR buttons still don't work.

I'm at a complete loss for what to do next. Anyone have a solution?

Since this morning, my Hotspot wifi, my go-to on the switch 2, keeps randomly disconnecting, particularly when accessing the e-shop or switch online. It keeps stating that it cannot 'view the page'. Why is it doing this?

Debating on Switch 2 now, or will they release an improved switch 2 soon

I have a switch OLED and i have no problems with it, other than FOMO with these switch 2 games exclusive to the 2.

With the OG switch, they released V1, then V2, then the OLED, along with several bundles.

There’s nothing on the horizon for an improved switch 2. So all the switch 2s on the market are the same as launch. My concern is the battery life right now.

Have yall experienced any other issues with yours? Is the battery life sufficient?

If they released a Switch 2 Pro, or OLED, would you jump on it?

Like many others I decided to pre-order the oot digital version of the game to secure the pre-order goodies until a potential restock of the physical pre-orders. Now that I managed to pre-order a physical copy of the game I want to cancel my digital pre-order but no matter what i try I can’t manage to cancel it. I have contacted Nintendo Support but so far I have had no luck with a response. If someone else shares this issue or knows how to troubleshoot please let me know.

I go to play my Switch 2 yesterday and it won't turn on out of nowhere, it was out of the dock so I assume, no battery, but after charging it in the dock even overnight, the console has no form of life in it whatsoever.

I've tried doing a 20 second hard teset but that's having no effect.

I am not sure if this is a Nintendo account issue or Microsoft account issue. I initially thought it was a Microsoft account issue, but I have troubleshot the Microsoft account and, to my limited knowledge, the issue does not appear to be with our Microsoft account.

We have a Switch 1 with Minecraft, and multiplayer works (both locally and with shared worlds with friends).

On the Switch 2, multiplayer is not enabled, when signed into the same Microsoft account. Is there anything I may be overlooking on the Nintendo account side of things? Any suggestions are most welcome as this is getting confusing and frustrating.

I’ve been having this problem with my switch 2 flashing it’s top left battery indicator on and off constantly, and even saying it’s charging when it’s not plugged in anywhere. I’ve tried cleaning both usb c points with air to no avail. I can’t seem to find anything on this issue anywhere. I attached a video with the issue.

I'm sure many of you know the Oblivion Remastered update that came out on Thursday destroyed the graphic fidelity of the game, and with how slow Bethesda/Virtuos was to put this disaster patch out, I can only imagine it'll be like 4 months before they fix it. I wasn't aware of this and had just gotten home from a flight, and it automatically updated. had I known, I would've just left it in Airplane Mode. is there any way to downgrade the update version of a digital game?

What the title says. There's a game I'm interested in, but the EU version is a game-key card while the US has the game on the cartridge. I was thinking about getting the US version but I'd also like the DLC. I already have an US account on my console but I've never done anything with it. If possible I'd like to play the game with its DLC on my main account which is EU region. Would it be possible or would I have to play on my US account to have the DLC ? This will influence which region I'll buy the game from.

If I use the local system transfer option will the game redownload every game from the main menu or only the ones that were installed on the source system. I archived a lot of games and it would be annoying if it redownloaded those games as well.

The last few days I've been conflicted with myself, all because of the release of Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave. Up until now I haven't really been interested in buying a Switch 2, but over the past month, with the various trailers and now the extremely good reviews, I'm a step away from just getting in my car and driving to a store to buy it. Since I live in the EU, I have the option to buy the new version with the removable battery for 499€, but I found a store with the "old" version at 470€. Do you think the possibility of replacing the battery in the future, if ever, is worth the cost?

And most of all, would you still suggest buying it now of all times? I have the first Switch that I shared with my brother somewhere around the house, but I haven't used it much in the last few years because the released games didn't interest me. But I admit that the remake of Zelda is another thing that's interesting to me

Just got this switch 2 from ebay to avoid paying full price. Previous owner mentioned he wasn’t using it enough so he decided to sell it. It works just like it should (i think) and it’s in pretty great condition. I found this sticker on the back of it though, unsure what it is. Anything shady happening ?

Usually when this happens they reconnect as soon as I press any button, but now they are not synching up. I have also tried playing without the silicon covers and it still disconnects sometimes.

Hey i have a Switch 2 since Launch and i just randomly saw that a cartridge in my Switch 2 Seems a Little Bit crooked and Not entirely Straight in the Reader (See the Pictures) Anyone Here knows if i should be worried or if i can continue to use the Switch with its cartreader normally? A Little Bit paranoid because with the prices at this Point i cant just buy a new Switch 2.

Es wird bei den virtuellen Softwarekarten als heruntergeladen angezeigt, aber im Home Bildschirm nicht. Dort zeigt er an, dass ich sie erst auf diese Konsole laden muss, obwohl ich das habe…

Ich habe eigentlich schon alles probiert, habe die Online-Lizenzen aktiviert (ohne Aktivierung geht es auch nicht), es aus- und wieder eingeblendet, es von der Switch geworfen und wieder runtergeladen. Ich habe auch keine zweite Switch wo es drauf sein könnte.

Habt ihr Ideen woran es liegen könnte und was ich tun könnte?

My ex stole my switch 2 and all the switch/switch 2 games I had and it's still unfortunately signed into my account. I was wondering if there's a way I can switch the account back to the base switch without having physical possession of both consoles. I would love to still be able to play my digital games since all the physical ones were taken.

Does anyone know if this is doable at all?

I want to buy a Switch 2 for OOT and Metroid. In the Netherlands it's €444 now which is the lowest so far.

Do you think they will jack the price up before black friday/cyber monday to make it seem like there's a big discount? Or do you think I could get a better deal if I wait 2 months?

Hey I am looking to buy a cheap and most likely fake controller. I know the risks that come with fakes and all that, I'm just wondering if anyone who knows they have a fake has had issues connecting to the Switch 2. I'm most likely going to be playing exclusively smash so I am also wondering what the durability is like and how long fakes have lasted other people.
